As Vin led the members of the Exodus Imperium to the new faction site, Sage's Hollow, he couldn't shake off the feeling of unease. He felt like he'd been outmaneuvered by Dagner, Daemon's brother, and the custodian's sudden change of heart. The weight of responsibility settled heavy on his shoulders, wondering if he'd made a critical mistake.
Vin's mind raced with doubts and questions. What secrets lay hidden in Sage's Hollow? Why had Dagner manipulated him into choosing this site? What lay in store for Exodus Imperium?
As he walked, the desolate landscape of Sage's Hollow unfolded before him. The harsh terrain, jagged boulders, and withered trees seemed to mirror his mood. Vin felt a sense of trepidation, as if he was leading his faction into the unknown, blindfolded.
He glanced at his members, their faces filled with a mix of unwillingness and apprehension. They trusted him, and he couldn't afford to show weakness. Vin steeled himself, squaring his shoulders, and pressed on, determined to make the most of this situation.
The silence was oppressive, punctuated only by the sound of gravel crunching beneath their feet. Vin's thoughts swirled, searching for a way to turn this potential liability into an advantage. He knew that in the Flaming Sun Sect's Inner Court, adaptability and cunning were key to survival.
As they approached the entrance to Sage's Hollow, Vin felt a shiver run down his spine. He steeled himself, took a deep breath, and stepped forward, leading Exodus Imperium into the unknown.

As the sun dipped below the horizon, casting Sage's Hollow in an eerie twilight, Vin gazed out upon the struggling faction. Two days had passed since their arrival, and the site's dark energy had already begun to exact its toll.
Toxic soil seeped into their skin, causing painful lesions and festering wounds. Unstable energy ravaged their equipment, rendering spells and technology unreliable. Subterranean hazards lurked in every shadow, waiting to strike. Dark creatures emerged from the depths, their twisted forms a testament to the site's corrupting influence.
And then, there were the nightmares. Vivid, soul-shattering visions that left Vin's members shaken and bewildered. The line between reality and madness began to blur, as if the site itself was exerting a malign influence over their minds.
Dagners's warning echoed in Vin's mind: "You've only scratched the surface of Sage's Hollow's dangers." The mysterious figure had vanished, leaving Vin to ponder the true extent of the site's horrors.
As night descended, Vin stood vigilant, his eyes scanning the darkness for signs of further threats. The wind whispered secrets in his ear, of ancient powers stirring beneath their feet, of forgotten rituals waiting to be unearthed.
In this forsaken place, Vin's resolve was tested like never before. Would he find a way to harness Sage's Hollow's power, or would the site ultimately consume them all? The shadows seemed to grow longer, as if waiting for his answer.
He gazed at the distance overlooking the entire terrain of the Sage's Hollow.
Sage's Hollow appeared as a desolate, rocky depression in the Inner Court's landscape. The terrain was harsh, with jagged boulders, sparse vegetation, and limited access to resources.
The ground was dry, cracked earth, and the air was thick with the scent of dust and decay. In the distance, a few withered trees stood like skeletal sentinels, their branches etched against the sky like a delicate pen and ink drawing. The overall impression was one of neglect, abandonment, and utter bleakness.
Vin even wondered why such a place even existed in the sect in the first place.
Vin, determined to find a solution, gathered his most trusted allies who were obviously Raya, Marco and Fourna, to survey the desolate landscape of Sage's Hollow.
As they explored the harsh terrain, Raya noticed subtle anomalies - faint hums of energy emanating from beneath the rocks, and peculiar symbols etched into the boulders.
Intrigued, Vin led them to investigate further. They carefully excavated the area, revealing a hidden entrance to the ancient, crystalline caverns. As they ventured deeper, they discovered the dense, Spiritual Energy permeating the space.
With the caverns' energy signature now clear, the rest of the Faction's members began to sense the natural spring's presence. Following the energy's resonance, they uncovered the hidden spring, and upon tasting its waters, discovered its extraordinary healing properties.
Meanwhile, the Vin after studying the ancient runes made a breakthrough, deciphering the mysterious symbols. He uncovered secrets of the Inner Court's forgotten past, revealing the true potential of Sage's Hollow.
With these discoveries, Vin realized that Sage's Hollow was more than just a neglected corner of the Inner Court - it was a treasure trove of hidden resources and secrets waiting to be unlocked. By claiming this location, they could transform it into a formidable base, catching their enemies off guard.
As they ventured deeper into the hidden entrance, the air thickened with an otherworldly energy. The team's torches cast flickering shadows on the crystalline walls, revealing an vast underground network of glittering caverns. Towering crystals, their facets glinting like a thousand tiny mirrors, pierced the darkness like shards of divine light.
The caverns' walls, polished to a glassy sheen by ancient, forgotten waters, reflected the team's awestruck faces. The ground beneath their feet, covered in a fine, iridescent dust, crunched softly as they explored the labyrinthine passages.
As they delved deeper, the crystals grew larger, their pulsing energy weaving an ethereal melody. The team members, attuned to the mystical forces, felt the caverns' power coursing through their veins like liquid starlight.
In the heart of the caverns, a glittering crystal colossus rose, its facets radiating a kaleidoscope of colors. The team approached, humbled by the ancient, slumbering power that lay before them. The crystal's surface, etched with runes of a long-forgotten language, whispered secrets to those who dared to listen.
Within this mystical sanctum, the Exodus Imperium discovered a hidden chamber filled with ancient artifacts and mysterious relics. Tomes bound in a strange, glowing material lay open, revealing forbidden knowledge. Ancient scrolls, adorned with cryptic symbols, whispered secrets of the Inner Court's forgotten past.
As they explored the caverns, the team realized that Sage's Hollow held more than just strategic value – it held the keys to unlocking the mysteries of the Inner Court itself. And with this knowledge, the Exodus Imperium's destiny was forever changed.
"What do you think we've found here" Raya asked as they moved around through the underground caverns.
"I don't know, but this might probably be what has been forgotten about by the sect, for a very long time." Vin replied.
"Should we report this" Marco asked. "You dummy, and then what, the sect would just take it all away" Fourna scoffed "And then we get nothing"
"At first I was feeling quite indignant when we got subjected to a place like this" Riker commented "But now in feeling thankful to Dagner"
"With the amount of resources here, we can definitely raise an army" Cassius stated.
"But that's only if no one betrays us, and report it to the sect or any other person, especially Dagner"
"Why would anyone want to do that?" Vin asked.
"There's a reason Dagner Cadmus was able to influence the custodian" Raya said.
"Which is?"
"He's a high ranking deciple in the Inner Court and the leader of one of the top twenty factions, the Cadmus Brotherhood" Raya replied.
"And they're quite a vicious bunch, that's why his brother dares to do anything in the Outer Court." Riker said.
"Well we just have to make sure that no one here would dare to do that right" Vin stated.
"And how do we do that boss?" Riker asked. But Vin only muttered in reply.
"Celestial Authority ~ Incursio"
A huge gravity pressure immediately enveloped the entire underground base, and everyone fell to their knees.
"Each and everyone of us are all rebels who are unsatisfied with the ways of this world, and especially the suppressions from the higher deciples" Vin stated "And that's why we've all gathered together, so we can shape our future with our own hands. A now we've found an opportunity to do just that. We will not throw it away in betrayal. The two things that are most important in this faction are trust and loyalty. And anyone who betrays that are only doing that to harm us and harming us is the same as killing us. And the punishment for that, is death without mercy."
Vin looked at everyone one of them as he made this declaration with intense serious gaze. His eyes glowed a deep violet color as he used God's eye to influence their thoughts subtly.
This was just a passive effects of the skill he used back at the evergreen forest called 'Death Slave'. Using it to influence their loyalty towards him.
This was the best he could do without turning them into mindless slaves.
"Alright then, let's set out, it's time for our first faction mission"
"Yes boss"
With their solution clear, the Exodus Imperium set out to prepare Sage's Hollow for their return, leaving a small contingent behind to safeguard their newfound haven. As they departed for their mission to exterminate the beast tide, they knew that Sage's Hollow's secrets would be the key to their future success.
