Meanwhile back at the battlefield in the town of Neon, a while ago Vin had just finished replenishing the Spiritual Energy he had exhausted in the first battle and was about to go join the fray again when he felt a sudden tug on the core of his energy.
And a sudden wave of weakness washed through him as he fell on one knee again, although he had never experienced something like this before, he knew exactly what that meant.
"They're in trouble!!" he muttered to himself, he was well aware that there was an off chance that the horde of beasts might pass through the visinity of the base, and it seems his worst fears had come to pass.
The reason for the sudden pull on his energy was because a few weeks ago, after the last mission when Vin had had returned to base, there was a sudden worry at the back of his mind.
He was well aware that he would be going back to the sect so as get more acquainted with the Inner Court in other to be eligible for that Mystic Realm opening.
The Exodus Order was still very weak as of this moment, and asides from his master there was only Archon whom he had decided to be the vice leader of the Exodus Order to hold the forts.
And a time might come when that would have to face enemies that might be too strong for them to handle, and he might not be there to provide aid, so he decided to leave them with a little protection.
He condensed all his understanding of what he had comprehend from the domain skill ~ Equinox in the form of a rune and embedded the rune in the runic emblem that had been inscribed on them all.
The reason for this was so that they would ba able to cast the Equinox domain whenever he wasn't with them, without even learning it.
But the downside of this was that since they were only still in the Body Refining Realm, they didn't have enough energy to cast the skill, talk more of even maintaining it.
And so they would have to drain energy from the very source of energy itself, Vin. This part was a forbidden way of using runic symbols, and since Vin wasn't that proficient in it yet, a small part of his life force was also being drained to keep up with the expense.
Afterall he was literally supplying energy to more than a thousand five hundred people, if not for his massive reserves of Spiritual Energy and the support from his core rune, he would never have even attempted something like that because it could endanger his life.
"I do hope they would be okay without me!" Vin muttered again in concern.
As the same time Vin was saying this, deep within the Darwind forest, a large amount of concentrated violet colored runic symbols condensed above the members of the Exodus Order and formed into a runic compass as they muttered.
"Celestial Authority ~ Domain Expansion ~ Equinox"
After that, large rays of energy beams descended into the ground before connecting together and entrapping the entire visinity of the mountain base and everything in it, including all the beasts that ventured into it in a repelling forcefield.
The needles of the compass then began spinning at a very high frequency until it became so fast that it seemed it wasn't moving anymore.
A huge gravitational force started gathering at the center of the compass, before descending on the entire base, crushing almost half of the trees in the visinity into shambles.
But this wasn't all, the compass kept releasing waves and waves of gravitational force, that it didn't take long before the entire beast horde was suppressed a little.
Because they were borrowing energy from Vin's source itself, they were able to borrow some of his Spiritual aura and given that Vin had the bloodline of a Phoenix, one of the emperors of demonic beasts, the beast horde were even suppressed the more.
Their cultivation was suppressed to be similar to the same realm as them, and then with viciousness in their eyes, Archon led the charge against the beast horde.
Since he was already in the Spirit Sea Realm and he was strong enough to take on even the late stages of the Spirit Sea Realm beasts, he didn't border casting "Equinox" because that would just kill Vin.
He knew he was in charge of their lives now that Vin wasn't around, because Vin's Master, Old Bai wouldn't interfere in the battle unless the situation was dire.
As the Exodus Order and the beasts horde clashed, blood spilled immediately and the sound of clashing steel echoed through the forest, as the Exodus Order fought for their lives against the demonic horde.
Archon, his eyes blazing with a fierce determination, led the charge, his sword slicing through the beasts with deadly precision. The Paragon Legion, a thousand strong, fought with a ferocity that belied their young age, their bodies honed to perfection as they clashed with the beasts.
The Shadow Garden, five hundred silent warriors, moved with a stealth and precision that was unnerving, their blades flashing in the dim light of the forest as they struck from the shadows. The beasts, their eyes glowing with an otherworldly energy, fought back with a ferocity that was terrifying, their claws and teeth tearing through the air with deadly precision.
But despite their numbers, the beasts were at a disadvantage, for they were facing an enemy who had the power of the Equinox domain on their side. The gravitational force that had been unleashed by the runic compass had suppressed their cultivation, making them easier prey for the Exodus Order.
As the battle raged on, Archon's eyes flashed with a fierce light, and he unleashed his "Blood Authority" technique, his body glowing with a dark, crimson energy. The air around him seemed to distort, as if reality itself was bending to his will.
The beasts, sensing the sudden surge in power, hesitated for a moment, and that was all the time Archon needed. With a swift and deadly strike, he sliced through the beasts, his sword cutting through their defenses like paper as he casted different skills continuously.
"Blood Authority ~ Sanguine Slash"
"Blood Authority ~ Crimson Requiem"
"Blood Authority ~ Scarlett Tide"
"Booooooom!!!!!!!!"
The Exodus Order followed close behind, their movements becoming more confident and precise as they fought. The "Blood Authority" technique had given them the edge they needed, and they pressed their advantage, striking down beast after beast.
But despite their advantage, the Exodus Order knew that they couldn't keep this up for much longer. Vin's energy was finite, and if they continued to drain it at this rate, he would be in grave danger. They had to end the battle quickly, before it was too late.
With a fierce cry, Archon led the charge, his sword flashing in the dim light of the forest as he struck down beast after beast. The Exodus Order followed close behind, their movements becoming more confident and precise as they fought.
The battle was intense, the sound of clashing steel echoing through the forest as the Exodus Order fought for their lives. But they knew that they had to win, no matter the cost. For if they failed, Vin's life would be forfeit, and the Exodus Order would be no more.
As the battle raged on, the outcome was far from certain. But one thing was clear: only one side could emerge victorious. The question was, which one would it be?
Vin stood up, his eyes fixed on the horizon as he sensed the battle raging on in the distance. He could feel the energy of the Exodus Order, their movements and strikes, as if he was right there with them. But he knew he couldn't be, not yet.
He took a deep breath, his mind racing with the implications of what was happening. The beast horde had been too much for the Exodus Order to handle on their own, but with the power of the Equinox domain and Archon's Blood Authority technique, they had a chance.
But at what cost? Vin could feel his own energy dwindling, his life force being drained by the sheer number of people relying on him for power. He knew he had to end this soon, or risk losing everything.
He closed his eyes, focusing his mind on the battle ahead. He could sense the Exodus Order's movements, their strategy and tactics. He knew they were fighting to protect their home, their sanctuary.
And he knew he had to do the same.
With a fierce determination, Vin opened his eyes and began to move towards the battlefield. He would not let his comrades fight alone. He would not let them die.
He would do everything in his power to protect them, to save them.
The battle ahead would be fierce, but Vin was ready. He was the leader of the Exodus Order, but also the leader of Exodus Imperium, and he would not falter.
He would rise to the challenge, no matter the cost.
And with that, Vin charged into the fray, his sword flashing in the dim light of the battlefield as he struck down beast after beast. The Exodus Imperium fought alongside him, their movements becoming more confident and precise as they fought together.
The battle was intense, the sound of clashing steel echoing through the plainfield in front of the town of Neon as they fought for their lives. But Vin knew they would emerge victorious.
They had to.
