Chapter 24 - Suleiman

In Turkey, a remarkable young man appeared. He was a young lawyer who had recently graduated, currently blending into a crowd gathered after the recent accident. His name was Suleiman.

Looking at the surrounding scene, he thought to himself:

"This is an opportunity, a real opportunity. The great Ottoman Empire's time has come to rise again in this world. Moreover, this time, it will be the greatest and mightiest Ottoman Empire ever."

He observed his surroundings and searched for a high, central place to begin his speech. Unfortunately, he didn't have a microphone or speaker at that moment, so he had to look for one.

After searching for a while, he finally found a street performer with a speaker and a microphone. He hurried over to the performer and said:

"Could I borrow this for a moment?"

At the same time, he took out some money and handed it to the performer, continuing:

"I only need it for a short while to speak to everyone, and then I'll return it to you, so there's no need to worry."

Seeing that Suleiman seemed like a decent person, the performer nodded and said:

"Alright, you can borrow it. No need for the money. Let me show you how to use it."

After a few minutes of instruction, Suleiman nodded and said:

"Got it, thanks a lot."

Then, he immediately went to a spot where he could be easily seen and shouted:

"Please, everyone, listen to me for a moment!"

At first, only a few people near him paid attention, so he had to shout again:

"Please, everyone, listen to me for a moment!"

This time, a large number of people fell silent and looked in his direction. Seeing the scene before him, feeling that there was enough silence, he began to speak:

"Dear fellow countrymen, I deeply regret the loss everyone has endured during the recent difficult moments. But let us look at it from a more positive perspective. The previous hardships come with an enormous opportunity.

Although we are not currently a weak nation, surely you all still remember our history, right? How great and powerful our country used to be, I'm sure you all still remember clearly. But which bastards divided us into small fragments? Of course, it was those damned Central Alliance scoundrels.

Now, God has given us a chance to become strong, a chance to show the entire world that we are the greatest people. A chance to reclaim the lands of our ancestors. Soon, we will take back everything that rightfully belongs to us. The Ottoman Empire will return once more, in its most perfect and magnificent state.

I am Suleiman! I vow to lead everyone to the glory of our country, our people. The time has come to reunite with all of our former territories and elevate our nation to the peak of prosperity. Those who weakened us, if they do not know how to apologize, will surely pay the price for their actions.

Long live the Ottoman Empire! Long live the Ottoman Empire!"

The crowd, inspired by Suleiman, began to chant along with him:

"Long live the Ottoman Empire!"

"Long live the Ottoman Empire!"

"Long live the Ottoman Empire!"

.....

Who were they? They were the mighty Ottoman Empire, an empire that had existed for more than 600 years. Their achievements were such that most other kingdoms could only dream of them, but could never realize them.

The people of Turkey naturally remembered their glorious history, remembered the great empire of the past. It was only because of unfavorable circumstances that they were reduced to being just Turkey as they are today.

But now, the situation was just as Suleiman said: everyone had a chance to become strong, strong to an unimaginable extent. They believed that starting from the same point, their people would undoubtedly be able to overcome all others.

Within a few years, they might not develop to the point where they could withstand nuclear bombs with just their ordinary bodies, but no one would dare use such weapons. As for conventional weapons, it would be hard to kill them once they reached the second level.

At that point, they would be confident enough to not fear any nation and to defeat any nation.

Seeing the morale of the people so high, Suleiman felt very pleased. The person who lent him the equipment was also enthusiastically supporting him now. That person felt that his equipment had been used for an incredibly meaningful purpose.

Naturally, Suleiman was a man of his word, he intended to return the equipment to its owner. However, it wasn't possible at the moment because the crowd was too dense to move through. Besides, he still had more to say.

"Yes, we will definitely reclaim what was lost. We will elevate our economy to become the largest in the world. We will shift the unipolar world order from America to us. Our people are the only ones qualified to lead all of humanity to the brightest future."

The crowd responded with increasing enthusiasm, but they limited themselves to cheering and shouting rather than resorting to destruction, as they were not protesting.

"We will reclaim what has been lost."

"We deserve the place that rightfully belongs to us."

"Our country has been silent for long enough. It's time to rise up."

.....

As patriots, who wouldn't want to see their nation prosper? It was just that before, they didn't have the opportunity to make that happen.

In the past, even if they wanted to develop, other nations wouldn't just let them do as they pleased. But now, things were different because every country had its own ambitions.

The so - called United Nations now was just a name. They could never prevent conflicts, all they did was talk.

The United Nations felt more like a symbolic presence because its existence gave people the impression that the world was at peace.

But now, everyone wanted to reclaim what they believed they deserved, so the United Nations was no different from a pile of useless waste. If everyone went to war, what would there be left for the United Nations to hold meetings about?

In the coming years, the United Nations would be entirely useless, because people wouldn't need it anymore. Once it outlived its usefulness, it would be discarded, for the rightful nation would unify the world - at least, that's what they thought, though there would be some crazies willing to risk everything to halt their dream.
