"My lady, aren't you over investing in that young boy?" A composed masculine voice asked.
Lantana Kamala stood before her window gazing down towards the young boy who had entered her domain a few months ago.
"No, I feel like I'm under investing. He's a talented youth, and the task I've given him only sounds simple when you don't include how hard it is and how dangerous it is to contact Faes on the outside." The Queen replied.
"So we're taking advantage of his naivety?" The man asked in a disgusted tone.
"No, we're paying him for his service. I haven't lied to him and I'm offering more than enough to cover the cost of his service." Lantana calmly replied.
"Have you thought about how he'll retaliate once he finds out in the future?"
"He won't, don't you remember the report? He has gained the favor of Calypso, even if she's not that strong of a Nymph she had connection to nearly all the heroes and demigod families who's ancestors stopped by her island.
She owes us a favor which I'll use to ease the boy, after all human men are all the same show them a hole and they'll ecstatically sacrifice the world for it." Lantana spat in disgust.
"It's not lust my lady, it's love and we both know it, don't make the sacrifices of those who died for love seem like lust." The man rebuked.
"Whatever makes you sleep at night, you have your own perspective and I have my own." Lantana dismissed as she continued staring at the boy who was deeply practicing his arts.
"You might be innocent and pure now but in a few years you will be no different from the rest, this is the will of the gods, our suffering within this prison." She looked away and left room.

It had been months since Ahmed had begun to be professionally taught by the Fae, the first two months had been hard on the youth as he adjusted to his routine.
On his third month he had adjusted to the routine and could juggle his duties with ease.
On his seventh month he had reached the limits of his potential, he had finally touched the peak the ninth Realm.
For it to take seven months to raise his potential was a clear show of how hard it was fo raise it, mind you Ahmed had been drowned im resources for the past seven months yet only now did he reach the cusp of potential.
His bloodline was also almost fully awakening, he didn't know which legacy he would receive but was thankful that there was one, mixed bloods had the worst of luck during awakening mostly because it went four ways:
Firstly, either they implode due to clash of several bloodline ancestry who even despite not having enmity would vie for supremacy within their bodies.
Secondly, either they implode, again, due to the hoarding nature of their bloodline ancestry, some bloodlines may not clash in the brutal ways but gather as much energy as possible hoping that their purity would suppress their competition, this however lead to an implosion of the body due to excessive energy levels.
Thirdly, either the mixed bloods fail to awaken any bloodline legacies, this usually happens when the ancestries within their blood negate each others existence wiping themselves out of the mixed bloods blood.
The Fourth and most wanted path, is when they successfully without any mishaps, very few Mixed bloods are able to reach this outcome.
Ahmed had also learnt a great deal about magic from the faes, his instructor was shocked to learn of his affinity towards the soul.
The Ancestry of Faes is one deeply rooted in nature, they are the children of Spirits who are beings of the Ethereal, this makes Faes by a stretch beings of the ethereal and is one of the reasons they are so perceptive with emotions.
Learning that a human boy had an affinity that had ties with their ancestry the Faes begun teaching Ahmed with excessive vigor but he couldn't say he disliked it.
That and his attunement to mana also earned him in-depth lessons about mana and grey spells. Grey spells were magic spell that did not require the elements just mana alone.
He hadn't told his instructors about his Mana affinity mostly because his instincts warned him not to and partially because be didn't want to experience an increase in attention like what had happened previously when the discovered he had a soul affinity.
His weapon arts had already reached the Large success realm, not because he dedicated most of his time honing the art but majorly because he was honing his basics.
He had been forbidden from using his arts, artifacts or anything apart from what his instructors provided.
He was therefore given a sword and told to slash downwards ten thousand times, he was taught the basics of swordsmanship step by step from the slash, to the parry, to the block to the pierce.
His battle soul shone as he quickly picked up whatever was thrown his way, he had alternated between using lonh swords, short swords, great sword and katanas.
He had decided with his instructors advise fo hone and master the sword before focusing on other blades, so that's what he did.
He had also beem taught how to fight hand to hand, this was an eye opening experience to Ahmed who was formerly just following his instincts, now however backed with those sais instincts he knew what to do more efficiently.
In about a months time his body would be in it's prime, and from then on he would be allowed to proceed onto the fourth realm.
Cultivation within the Awakening Realm was.... weird to say the least. You could be increasing your potential and priming your body but at the same time be on the third realm breaking into the fourth.
He had been taught cultivation that was applicable within the awakening realm, outside of it things were bound to be different.
Just as he was about to drown himself in training however, Calypso for the first time in months whispered into his ear.
[Mazel Azazel and Regis have arrived at the sams floor, prepare yourself for Cassandra's appearance.]
Ahmed nodded in agreement, the Fae
Domain was a weird one, time moved independent of the outside world, such that seven months had passed as pee hus perspective yet in the trial space only a week had passed.
He was shocked at first but was also thankful for it, he had learnt a lot thanks to their time and care.
For the next month or so that he had, he maniacally dove into training and cultivating devouring as many resources as possible pushing himself to the utmost upper limit.
Four days later, in trial time, Calypso whispered into his hear notifying him of Cassandra's arrival, in Ahmed's perceptive four months had gone by, he had spent nearly a year in the Faes Domain.
And his realm, it was more than enough for whatever was to come.
