Ahmed exited the portal and instantly regained his full height, it had been awhile since he felt so... himself.
The view before him was however not something he had expected when exiting the Fae's domain.
"If I don't kill you today, then my name isn't Mazel Azazel." One of the two boys before him passionately vowed, he was dumbfounded he hadn't expected to find himself in the middle of a brawl.
The two who were about to clash suddenly turned their heads and stared at him, he found one to be familiar while the other just felt strange.
The youth on his left had a head full of long dirt green hair, with with dark brown eyes, he was of dark skin albeit on a lighter shade, in his hands was a ling spear whose head was painted with blood.
He was tall, taller than him who was five foot ten by an inch or two at most, the youth wore was about six a loose pair of green jeans with a black jacket which now had a hole on it at its shoulder.
To his right was the demon-kin he had met at the entrance of the wolf cave, he had black hair with amethyst eyes, he wore a rather unnecessarily expensive pair of pants which in Ahmed's perceptive would hinder his moments, he would be too worried about damaging it to fight without holding back.
He wore a long sleeved brown shirt with a wind breaker on top, he looked fancy...
"It's you!" Mazel spat in apprehension, he might have not seen the youths face back then but he had memorized his mana signature.
Everyone's mana signature was unique to them, it was like a thumbprint or a retina scan unique to every individual so he had memorized it in hopes that he'll have a bit of payback.
Now however wasn't the time for their meeting, he didn't know how strong the youth was so he chose to stay cautious.
"Yo, it's been awhile." Ahmed greeted with a smile, he bore no ill will for the demon-kin after all of not for their fight he would have never known of the cave, he would have never discovered the trial island nor net with the fae, he could confidently say he owed the demon-kin and angel-kin one.
"Friends?" Ahmed asked as his eyes darted between the two youth.
"Tsk, who'd befriend a Troll! I'd rather die that acknowledge any relations with those things!" Mazel spat in hate.
Oh, so the usual racism eh." Ahmed sighed as he rubbed his temples, he was currently in between the two if they charged he would have to join the fray.
"So what happened? I'm sure you didn't just start fighting for no reason, was it a treasure? An artifact?" Ahmed asked wanting to de-escalate the situation.
"He attacked me for no reason, I was just hunting beasts." The Troll-kin shrugged.
"Hunting? You were hunting tame beasts?" Ahmed's brows furrowed, why would he hunt them when they weren't even aggressive?
"Yeah, I was just killing time waiting for this trial to start." The troll-kin continued.
"Bullshit, he tried to kill my bond!" Mazel cursed finally shedding light to the situation.
"How was I supposed to know that smart ass, I found a nest of beast so I killed them, that simple." The troll-kim snorted, "who knows if they are our trial objectives I was mearly lessening the burden."
Ahmed sighed as he rubbed his temples, this was a rather complicated situation. He couldn't blame the green haired guy because he was actually right, even he would have done the same if not for Calypso's timely advise, but he could also emphasize with the demon-kin who nearly had his bond killed.
"Can't you two just let it go, we don't know if our trial is a cooperative one or not, is it worth the risk injuring each other?" A soft female voice startled the boys who all raised their guards.
'I didn't sense her!' Ahmed's eyes narrowed, to say he was shocked would be an understatement, he knew his senses better than anyone, within a ten meter radius there was nothing that could escape his senses yet this frail looking girl did just that.
A blonde haired girl walked slowly towards the boys and stopped a distance away, she was unarmed and full of openings, one look from the boys and they knew they could kill her several times over yet...
They could feel it, their instincts were warning them that this seemingly frail young girl was dangerous?
The girl had long blonde hair worn in a bun, her eyes were silver grey and seemed to be veiled by an air of mystery, she was short, way shorter than the boys, her full height was a measly five foot five.
She wore a black pair of leggings, with dark brown boots, a short suspender skirt that reached above her kness along with a light white long sleeved shirt.
She had fluffy cheeks and a button nose that made ger adorable, but the boys didn't find her cute in the slightest they stared at her with blatant caution until one of them sighed.
"Cassandra I presume?"
"You know of me? Strange I'm pretty sure I have no merits to my name." The blonde girl titled her head in thought.
"It's a privilege of being the first to get here, my name's Ahmed, this here id Mazel and that is Regis." Ahmed took it upon himself to introduce the other two.
"I see, that makes sense. So number one what's our objective?" Cassandra asked with a small smile.
As if on que, the overseer whispered into their ear, their objective was however not as they imagined it to be, it wasn't a combat test, or a face of against each other, rather it was a team objective one that needed them all to interact with each other after all, it was an investigative type of objective.
