[Herbal Records.
A Book that records any to all herbs, nectar, fruits, leaves, branches, stems, roots and trees that it's user has ever encountered be it through their senses(sight, hearing, smell, taste touch or any other form above or besides the five basics), memory, Soul or written sources.
Perk: It details their nature, where they occur, what they're good for, how they can be properly used, their impurities etc.]
Ahmed gawked at the book with disbelief, he had been expecting another bestiary but this, this was something else.
This was basically an uprising herbalism guide, heck even alchemists would want the book since it would actually help them in their experiments.
"Do all Faes truly have treasures of this magnitude?" Ahmed couldn't help but worriedly ask.
[I don't think so, if they're willing to part with these things then you must have made quite the impression or they must be feeling...no I doubt that it must just be a good impression.] Calypso replied keeping her thoughts to herself, there was no need to fan a fire where there was none so she chose not to.
[Viviane Herbal Records.
Vivian was a Spirit who loved water but also loved the land, she had written many books with the Herbal records just being one of the many things she's written.
Perk: Herbal Data base.
So long as it has existed or there's a chance it will exist this Herbal Record already has it.]
"Another one of Viviane's works, was she some kind of scholarly sage?" Ahmed mused earning a laugh from Calypso.
[Yes she was, a scholarly Sage. So king as she set her mind into uncovering something she wouldn't stop until she had every nook and cranny of it, thats why most of her works have the Data Base perk.]
"I see, she sounds like a aggressively smart person." Ahmed commented.
[That she was, she wouldn't care about who or what came in between her research, its a miracle she still maintained her morality.
There was a time she threw a kingdom into the skies just because there was a certain flower growing beneath it.
A war nearly broke out afterwards with the said kingdom wanting compensation from the Spirits whereas the spirits weren't upto it since the said kingdom already had territorial rights over Viviane's discovery.
Multiple powerhouses had to intervene inorder to de-escalate the issue.] Calypso nostalgically retold, she seemed excited to share about Viviane's accolades.
"We you two close?"
[Not That close but close enough, its been awhile since we last met though, I doubt she's still alive.] Calypso sighed before falling silent.
Ahmed let her be as he focused on the next book within the drawer.
[Alra's Herbal Records.
Alra was a mystical being descent from the Alraunes, that wasn't a spirit but still had immense connections with nature.
Alra in particular loved the concept of seeds, the kernel of plant life the origin of flaura and fauna.
Perk: Kernel of Origin.
So long as it has a start be it from pollen or from seeds this records has its starting point, allowing the birth 9f the said flaura or fauna.]
Ahmed gaped as he stared at the book, this one much like Viviane's had its writers name etched into it, its functions were also something quite extraordinary.
[Your Blank Herbal Records is linking to the Viviane Herbal Series and The Alra Botanic Kernel this link will continue until all three Records become one.

"Just like the bestiaries, do all magic books react this way?"
[Some yes, at the base all Bestiaries, Records and Griamores are magic books, of they have some level of innate connection with regards to how they were utilized then they can merge.]
"I see, so now I'll have a dictionary of herbs, their nature and seeds, same goes for the bestiaries, I'll have their data base, weaknesses and a third perk, wait will the herbal records gain a fourth perk?" Ahmed's eyes widened as he thought of the possibility.
[It will.] Calypso's answer was short but it was more than enough to cause a minor explosion within Ahmed's mind.
"I'm gonna be rich!" He screamed, no matter how he thought about it he would be rich with just these books and their intel.
[You want to sell them?] Calypso curiously asked.
"What?! No! Why would I that dangerous, I'll never sell those books they've already bound themselves to me, I'm pretty sure that's not easy to sever." Ahmed exclaimed before calmly, well as calmly as he could, explained.
"When I say I'm rich I'm talking about selling the seeds that would come to be in the Alra Botanical Kernel."
[That's why? Aren't you too short sighted, why not plant them and sell what the seeds produce it will last longer and bring more profits.]
"I thought of that but, how and where am I going to plant them? Plus its kinda time consuming, I wont be able to focus on my weapon and combat arts." He sighed, he was but one person, there was only so much he could do.
[I see...] Calypso chuckled [If that's it then there's no problem.]
"What do you mean 'no problem'?" Ahmed confusedly asked.
[You'll see, that's all I can say.] Calypso replied with a shroud of mystery.
Ahmed shrugged as he let his senses appraise him, somewhere within him was a three left clover which was slowly but surely forming its fourth leaf, this was what the Herbal records portrayed itself within him.
For the Bestiary there was a androgynous beast head on it, the beast head was every beast that ever was and at the same time not.
It was a mysterious sigil, one Ahmed couldn't understand, and like the many things he couldn't understand, he shoved it to the back of his mind and chose to ignore it for the time being.
This had been his mantra for quite sometime, ever since they moved from their last town to a new one when he was eight or so years, his brother had imparted to him a lesson he had hardly forgotten.
There are only three rules in life, Paradox, Humor and Change.
Paradox is where not everything will make sense, so stop trying to make sense of everything.
Humor was well having a sense of humor about yourself, it would help and take you far.
Change, nothing would ever stay the same.
