After parting ways with Mazel, Ahmed sat at the roots of the Fae tree and begun to inspect the things he received from the Faes.
The first thing Ahmed did was scan the interior of his imprint, it had absorbed the Fae crafter's magic solution and it had obviously done something to the space, he had yet to check on his Imprints changes.
What he saw was quite the sight, his former imprint wasn't that large nor was it that small, but his current however...
"It's larger than my town." Ahmed murmured to himself, the space had expanded by absurd degrees, if before it wasn't larger than a mansions room now it was larger than a prosperous metropolis city.
"Can I even fit this space?" He mused audibly, he briefly skimmed through the space's defenses and was once again surprised.
The Imprint was far too heavily secured, to the point where even a Peak Ninth Realm Expert wouldn't be able to even wiggle a wisp of their senses into it, to further increase the absurdity his Imprint also had counter measures incase a forceful breach was made.
"T-this, is this truly an ordinary gift you give to your student?" He wondered but deep down he knew, this was beyond ordinary or simple.
Looking at the hovering cube within his Imprint, Ahmed almost felt reluctant to open it, he had half the mind to return it to the Fae but he held himself back.
He wasn't as strong as the various clans, he wasn't a Noble nor a Royals descent, neither was he from a Family with roots in cultivation, he was mearly a lucky commoner, to refuse what he was given simply because he felt he wasn't worth it, wasn't something he could afford to do so he choose the alternative..
"I'll make sure to live up to your expectations, I may not be worthy now but I will be, that I promise." He vowed as he begun to open the cube.
He was however met with another surprise instead of his consciousness being transported into the cube like what happened when he was trying to view his Imprint, his whole body was pulled in.
In front of Ahmed was a Cupboard of sorts, it had nine drawers in a set of threes from top to bottom, the bottom most part was at his chest height wise whereas the rest were at his head or futher above.
Apart from the Cupboard he saw nothing else, he was after all suspended in perpetual darkness with no sense of direction.
He calmed himself and chose to open the drawers, after all there wasn't anything else he could do other than that.
Ahmed pulled the oak wood drawers slowly wanting to see everything amd anything that was inside, upon opening it he was met with books.
Six books to be exact, he curiously picked one of the books which glowed dimly in his hand before binding itself to him.
[The Bestiary Records.
A Book that records any to all beasts that it's user has ever encountered be it through their senses(sight, hearing, smell, taste touch or any other form above or besides the five basics), memory, Soul or written sources.]
"A bestiary!" Ahmed exclaimed in shock, he had learnt of bestiaries during one of his many lessons, very few could to have forged a Bestiary that was how rare they were.
A bestiary wasn't just any book with the names of beasts, it was a recollection of the said beasts, some bestiaries are so profound that they even carry the legacies of the said beasts.
In Ahmeds cases his bestiary listed their weaknesses to a tea, so long as it was recorded he would know it's weakness.
"The first thing I open just happened to be a high grade treasure." He smiled mirthlessly.
He picked up his second book and was astonished by it's content since it also binded itself to him.
[Bestiary of Viviane.
Vivian was a Spirit who loved water but also loved the land, she had written many books with bestiaries just being one of the many things she's written.
Bestiary perk: Beast Data base.
So long as it has existed or there's a chance it will exist this bestiary already has.]
"Hoo!" Ahmed bellowed with widened eyes, to say he was seeing stars would be am understatement, after all this bestiary was in simple terms the most advanced dictionary in existence that would undergo self-updates everytime a new word came to be.
[Your Blank Bestiary Records are liking with the Vivian Beast Series, this link will continue until both Bestiaries become one.
Current progress: 0.01%]
"That can happen?" He stared with glee, didn't this mean he didn't have to go out of his way to fill his own bestiary?
[When two bestiaries merge they restrain their former perks while also establishing a new perk all together.] Calypso informed much to his shock.
"Calypso?! What, how are you here?" He asked with concern, were the features he skimmed by false or did he misread it?
[I'm here because the trial space is my domain, and your good fortune was found within My domain that means it's under my jurisdiction and I'm intentionally or unintentionally aware wether I like it or not.] Calypso explained.
"So you saw me training with the Fae?"
[Well, yes and no. I did sense you within the Fae Queens domain but I couldn't rely lock onto you.
I know you gained something and I'm entitled to pry into the 'what' you gain. It's one of the perks of being an Overseer.
Apart from me no one else can enter your space.]
"I see, alright," he shrugged before ignoring the wholw matter, Ahmed smiled sheepishly as he imagined having a bestiary with three perks.
"A Weakness Detection Perk, An Endless Analysis Perk and an Unknown one, my instructors sure know how to gift someone."
Ahmed laughed gleefully as he expectantly stared at the other books within the first drawer
