In the bustling city of Hilltop, as the vile of darkness fell upon the sky with the appearance of the beautiful stars littered all over it, the people went about their day with a care in the world. It was there in the twilight of the night sky that a couple, lying on the grass-covered floor of a park while star gazing, noticed a shooting star in the night sky.
Upon seeing the shooting star, the couple smiled at each other as they thought to themselves just how beautiful it was before shifting their gaze to one another. Drawing closer and closer, with a small gap keeping their lips away from each but just as they were about to close, the man noticed something strange about the star. It looked as though it was growing little by little, almost as though...The man then quickly grabbed his girlfriend and dragged her out of the way before the object they mistook as a shooting star fell and crashed near them.
The man and his girlfriend along with the other people in the park looked at the crash site which was covered with a thick cloud of smoke created by the impact of whatever it was that crashed. Then, from within the smoke, they saw a faint shadow moving from within the smoke. It looked human, though it was still hard to get a clear look due to the intense smoke that surrounded him. Nobody dared to take a step close to the figure as they were scared of what was hiding behind the thick layer of smoke but as the smoke slowly began to clear away, the figure hiding behind it was revealed. It was a young boy with unnatural blue hair that resembled the morning sky. The boy had no clothes covering his boy as whatever form of clothes he wore was burnt away as he traveled through the stars, leaving him completely and utterly naked from head to toe.
The man upon seeing that it was only a child eased up a bit, not perceiving the young blue-haired boy as a threat although he did find it peculiar on how he seemingly just fell down from the sky completely naked. The man then noticed the boy shaking and trembling almost as though he was frightened about something. The man, driven by his kind sympathetic heart decided to take off the jacket he was wearing to give to the boy to cover up his naked body, thinking that his gesture would put the boy at ease. His girlfriend, however, was apprehensive, not wanting him to approach the boy out of fear of what he might be and how dangerous was. The man ignored his girlfriend's warning and cautioned him not to approach the boy and then proceeded to go to the child with his jacket.
The blue-haired boy upon seeing the man approach him felt his heart begin to race, making millions of consecutive beats a second. The boy then watched, with complete horror and fear as the man, his girlfriend, and the people that surrounded him, slowly began to twist and morph into the dreaded Sabraxian who had taken everything. And as he watched the man approach, in his mind he was a Sabraxian coming to end him like his race ended his people.
The boy then yelled out in a deafening scream like a madman before blitzing away, moving faster than any person there could comprehend or see. In an instant, the boy disappeared into a blue blur, only leaving a faint blue trail that disappeared just as fast as it formed. Leaving the man, his girlfriend, and those there to witness it all, shocked and confused as to what just happened and who the mysterious boy was.
The boy dashed out of the park and made his way to the streets. Standing in the center of the road, creating chaos and confusion in the middle of the road as he seemingly appeared out of nowhere with a flash of blue light, forcing the drivers to suddenly hit their brakes and causing most of them to crash with each other.
The boy hearing hunks and yells of drivers began panting excessively, replacing the hunks in his head with the roaring engines of the Sabraxian's ships and the angry yells of the driver as growls of the Sabraxians them. The boy, confused and frustrated by the echoing sounds, used his hands to cover his ears in an attempt to stop him from hearing them. But then, in the midst of the chaos, he heard it, a faint cry that didn't sound like the monstrous growls of the Sabraxians. The boy then looked around to find where the cry was coming from. He found the source of the cry; it was a screaming girl about to be hit by a car spiraling out of control.
In that moment, whatever lens that was blurring the boy's vision and perception of reality seemly disappeared, and then he could finally see past his fears that were constantly feeding him images of the Sabraxians. The boy, seeing that the girl was in danger, raced straight for her, with sparks of kinetrix energy forming all over his body as he dashed out, racing towards the girl before the car could hit her. As he ran, his vision began to blur once more but this time with an image of his brother, Sonikro, in the final moments shared between him and his brother, as he pushed him away to save him from an approaching blast from a Sabraxian ship. He was too slow back then to save him and now it seemed like he would be too slow to save the scared little girl before him.
Exelirus greeted his teeth with his blood boiling with rage and anger, accepting that back then he was too slow to save his brother but rejecting that right then and there, he was too slow to save the little girl frightened before him. Exelirus, with his eyes glowing blue with determination to save that girl, increased his speed, jetting to the girl's location and carrying her out of the way before the car could collide with her. Exelirus managed to save the girl and the car instead hit a nearby building, luckily the driver was alright and only sustained minor injuries.
Exelirus sighed in relief, thankful that he managed to save the girl but as he looked down at the girl he had just saved instead of being met with a loving and grateful smile as thanks for saving her, he was instead given a look of horror and fear as she trembled and shook in arms.
"Sophie" a woman yelled out as she dashed towards Exelirus, forcefully grabbing the girl from his arms before proceeding to check to see if the girl was alright.
The woman, who Exelirus presumed to be the girl's mother, then turned to Exelirus, looking at him with a look of horror and fear similar to the child before running away with her daughter in her arms.
Exelirus just watched as the woman ran away with her child, wondering why she and the woman would look at him with so much fear, especially after he had just saved the girl.
Then a rock, seemingly flying out of nowhere, hit Exelirus in the head. The rock didn't do much damage to Exelirus, only leaving behind a small bruise on the side of his forehead. Then Exelirus heard the sounds of people yelling and booing. He then turned around and saw an enraged mob of people surrounding him, holding metal rods and sticks, yelling at him to leave them alone, calling him names like monster and freak. Exelirus, wondered what was going on and why the people were so angry at him, then looked around and the leave of carnage and destruction he had wrecked on the streets upon arriving there.
"No" Exelirus softly whispered to himself. He wouldn't do something like this; he could never wreak this level of damage, could he? Exelirus pondered to himself and as he did his vision became blurred and distorted once again, switching back and forth from the enraged mob to an army of Sabraxians surrounding him. Exelirus then began to panic as he slowly began to struggle to differentiate between reality and illusion created by his fear and trauma induced by the Sabraxian.
Exelirus in a panic, not knowing what else to do, dashed away, moving at tremendous speed, leaving a signature blue trail as he ran. As the young, confused, little Kinerixian, raced through the unfamiliar streets of Hilltop, he continuously struggled to make out what was real and what was not as his vision continuously went back and forth between seeing the Sabraxians and seeing reality, frustrating the boy even more and causing to run even faster in order to escape the madness he was slowly descending into.
As the boy kept dashing along the streets of Hilltop, moving faster and faster with each step he took, the kinetrix energy within him began to grow and grow, building up within his body, rising with every step he it until finally, as he took another step, a power energy pulse escaped his body with a sonic boom. The entire city shook from the shockwave released by the energy pulse; it fried all the electronics in the city useless, causing a citywide blackout.
After that, Exelirus felt something strange in his body. The flow of energy within his body was now unstable, he, having used so much of his speed and strained his body to its absolute limit while running was finally feeling the backlash of his action. A powerful jolt of pain then flowed through his entire body, causing him to stumble and fall down hard to the ground.
Exelirus then looked around, seeing that he had crashed straight into the forest as he was surrounded by trees and leafy vegetation. He tried to get up but as he did so he felt a jolt of pain flow through his body followed by blue sparks of kinetrix energy. He was too hurt to get up and as he laid there on the grass, tiredness and exhaustion slowly began to creep in as he eyes lids slowly grew heavier and heavier.
Exelirus then chuckled upon realizing that, between the invasion of the Sabraxians, he and his brother struggling to survive while Sabraxian decimated their world, his brother's demise in the hands of the Sabraxians, and him, despite all odds, managing to survive the complete and utter destruction of his home world, it felt like ages since he had had a moment of rest. So while there, lying on the soft grass cover floor of the forest with the calm still breeze blowing all over his body, he felt at peace and his fear-driven mind calmed down. He then allowed his eyes to slowly shut but before he could fully close them up, his weak gaze caught a glimpse of a figure, moving just as fast as him, zipping into his view before reaching him, and standing right next to him.
