Daniela was not entirely sure what to do at that moment but knew she had to proceed with caution and be careful of whatever action she took with the understanding for how delicate the current situation she found herself in was.
She looked at the boy and saw the look of fear and confusion in his eyes as his mind tried desperately to piece together what was going on and how he got to the given situation he was in.
Daniela was about to call out to the boy, hoping to ease up the boy's tense and confused nerves, as she understood just how confused and frightened he must been, haven woken up suddenly in an unfamiliar place, surrounded by strange people. But just as Daniela was about to open her mouth to speak the alarm sirens went off, signaling to everyone in the H.O.P.E base that something was wrong. Then the footsteps of several, H.O.P.E agents could be matching through the halls and making their way to the medical bay to see what was going on.
Daniela upon hearing the alarm sirens turned to look Exelirus who just used his hands to cover his ears to block the sounds of the sirens as they reminded him of the first days of the Sabraxian arrival to Kinerix. Remembering the same blasted sirens that echoed in every street of every city of Kinerix which as a warning for everyone to take shelter, hide, and run as swiftly and fast as their speeding legs could carry them as the monsters know as Sabraxian rained down from the Kinerixian sky to decimate and leave their world in utter ruins.
Exelirus just wanted the noise to stop; he didn't want to hear it anymore because the sounds of those sirens echoed in his ears he could hear the screams of torment and agony of his people over and over again. Daniela saw that Exelirus was in pain and was about to go him and try to console but before she had a chance to, the agents arrived, armed with blasters and ready to fire at any perceived threat, which was, at the moment, Exelirus.
Daniela upon seeing the agents with their blasters aimed straight for Exelirus ready to fire, tried to stop them. She quickly, using her super speeds, rushed straight to the agents, stopping in front of them and blocking their aim.
Meanwhile, while Daniela was dealing with the agents, Exelirus, with his hands still covering his ears, trying desperately to block out the sounds of the sirens raised his head and saw Daniela with agents. Then his vision became blurred and distorted, and instead of seeing Daniela and the agents, he instead saw a group of Sabraxian standing there ready to finish him off like they did his people. Exelirus then felt his heart began to race uncontrollably with blue sparks of kinetrix energy flowing and trickling about all throughout his body.
"Are you insane or something, can't you see that it's just a ki…" Daniela's sentence was stopped halfway through by a racing Exelirus dashing passed them at incredible speeds with the force behind him as he ran being enough to send the agents flying. But just as he was about to blitz away from them, Exelirus's and Daniela's eyes met, with both of them moving their bodies at supersonic speeds, she was able to see him as he dashed by, an act that greatly shocked the young Kinerixian. And as he dashed, his gaze still fixed at Daniela, his vision for a brief moment stopped being distorted and he could see, for only those brief moments, the masked woman that stood next him for who she was. Daniela then extended her hand to Exelirus, trying to grab hold of him as she did so Exelirus's perception switched once more, returning back to its distorted and blurred state, causing him to stare at Daniela with all of put and utter terror, before speeding away from her grasp.
The time that seemed to stand perfectly still around Daniela and Exelirus then began to move once more with the agents that were sent flying due to the force behind Exelirus as he ran slowly descended down to the ground as Daniela watched Exelirus speed away.
"The threat has is on move, I repeat, the threat is on the move. We can't let him get out, initiate emergence lock, we can't let him escape" one of the agents on the floor spoke to him communicators.
Daniela upon hearing what the agents said just sighed, knowing she had to find away to catch Exelirus before any of the H.O.P.E agents do, knowing that they had the tendency to shoot first and ask questions later, and upon remembering the scared and frightened look she saw on Exelirus's face as he dashed passed, she knew that that kind of approach wouldn't end well. So Daniela dashed away after Exelirus, hoping she could get to him and calm him down before he was captured by any of the H.O.P.E agents.
Exelirus raced through the hallways at blinding speeds, not entirely sure where he was running towards and simply his fear driven instincts and continued running chaotically in a straight line. Then suddenly, the steel doors that surrounded him began to slowly shut and close, and Exelirus realized this, he increased his speed, moving fast enough to slip through the ever decreasing gap of the doors before they were sealed shut. Exelirus continued his speedy sprint through the halls of the H.O.P.E base, racing passed the doors before they were shut but then another huddle came his way. Laser blaster erected from the side of the walls then began to fire straight for him, having been activated by the H.O.P.E agents who perceived him as nothing more than a dangerous threat that should be contained. Exelirus, seeing the lasers headed his way by the blasters, skillfully dodged each and every one of them as he used his speed skillful maneuver and evade them all, and then continued his mad sprint away.
Exelirus kept running and running, moving faster than the naked eye could see, leaving only behind a blue trail as he raced passed, desperately searching for a way out of the facility he was being held in. His search soon came to an end as he made it to what he presumed to be the exit of whatever place he was being held in. A massive metal door, larger and seemingly far more tougher than the other doors he simply raced past. That had to be the way out there, Exelirus reasoned to himself. But there was problem; the door was sealed shut with an army of H.O.P.E agents standing guard in front of it armed with readied blasters aimed at the fast approaching Exelirus.
Exelirus looked at the agents standing guard in front of the door, with his vision still, distorted and twisted, he saw only army of Sabraxians standing in the place of the agents. Exelirus felt his heart race upon seeing what he perceived to be an army of Sabraxians blocking his only way, there was nowhere to run and for a brief moment he contemplated about giving up and running but then, he heard a familiar voice in his head, repeating the same words over and over again, "Promise me you'll survive". And with those words ringing none stop in his head, Exelirus managed to find the courage, drive, and zeal to push himself even further, refusing to back down and surrendering to the monsters that took everything away from him. He charged straight for the door, increasing his speed even more, releasing massive amounts of kinetrix energy, causing body to being to glow a bright and radiant blue with spark of kinetrix energy trickling and flowing throughout his body.
The agents standing guard in front of the door, upon seeing the blue glow of Exelirus's body dash ever so closer, ready their blasters and began fire but their attacks didn't even phase the young blue haired boy he continued to race towards them, the boy didn't even bother to try to dodge the blasts headed his way as the kinetrix energy that engulfed his entire body protected him from all their attacks. The boy simply blitzed passed them all with his immense speed before colliding with the metal door, ramming in to it with so much raw power and force, and like a cannon he blasted a hole straight through the massive metal door with a massive explosion that shook the entire base.
Daniela then arrived mere seconds just after Exelirus as had busted the massive metal door open, only to see with a look of shock, and slight fear, the carnage Exelirus left in his wake as he dashed through the armed agents and burst open a door made of a metallic alloyed a hundred times stronger than titanium. Something that it would have taken a force close to that of a nuclear explosion to dent, the boy had singlehandedly blasted a hole through using nothing but his raw power and speed. Daniela upon seeing all that, couldn't stop herself from wondering just who was that kid.
Daniela however, could not dwell on her thoughts for long, knowing that she had to get to the kid as soon as possible especially after seeing the level of carnage and destruction he could wreak. So after checking on the agents who were now lying down helplessly on the floor, thankfully they weren't dead just severely hurt, Daniela dash off, leaving through the hole created by Exelirus, chasing after him.
Exelirus raced through the islands thick jungle terrain, dashing through miles upon miles of thick vegetation, trees and bushes. With step he took, he saw flash his world in its final moments, dead bodies, ruined cities and hoards upon hoards of mad savage Sabraxian destroying anything that crossed their paths. He saw it all as his mind created a picture so clear that could even smell the putrid smell of ash, smoking, and rotten corpse that filled the air of Kinerix during her last days. Those flashes drove Exelirus mad with rage, sadness, and frustration, making strike the earth underneath his feet harder, causing to accelerate and move even faster with a sonic boom. Exelirus kept running and running, with the memories of his fallen world plaguing his mind more and more with each step he took.
The blue haired boy's mind was completely blurred with images of horrendous state that befell his home world due to those monsters that he couldn't even see where he was running to. His perception and view of the world around him was nonexistent at that point and all he could ahead of him was the chaos and destruction of a dead. So Exelirus kept running and running until he began to approach the edge of the island that had no but a clear blue sky ahead of it. Exelirus could not see that trail he was aimlessly following would soon come to an end and so he didn't bother to stop and kept running, moving rapidly, closer and closer to the edge. But just as Exelirus as was a few brief steps away from plummeting down to his certain doom, a black and red streak zoomed out of the forest and pushed him out of the way in time.
Daniela having managed to catch up to the boy in time and push him out of the way before he could fall off the edge pin Exelirus to the ground so he couldn't move or try to run. Exelirus, with his vision still distorted, looked at Daniela and saw monstrous Sabraxian pin him to the ground with both of his hands restraint by it.
"Let go of me you monster" Exelirus yelled out with tears falling down from his eyes, his heart racing with complete and utter fear as he looked in to the eyes of what he perceived to be one of the monsters that slaughtered his entire race.
Daniela looked in to Exelirus's eyes as he spoke and saw a mix of rage and anger, sadness and frustration, and pain. It was clear that her that he was hurting and had lost everything. Daniela could recognize that look of pain and loss well because it was a look she had worn on her face for most of her life and she knew how much it must hurt for young blue haired especially at such an age.
"I said, LET GO OFF ME!!!!!" Exelirus yelled out with rage and fury in his eyes as he began vibrating his entire body at incredible speeds, causing his body to begin to pulse with sparks of blue kinetrix energy flowing out of his body.
Daniela winced in pain as a few of the sparks of kinetrix energy struck her, sending an immense jolt of pain to race through her body, but still, despite the fact that sparks were continuously flowing out of Exelirus body she still hold on to him, ignoring the surging pain that flowed through her body with each and every strike from the kinetrix energy that overflowed through Exelirus. She knew he was hurting, she could see it in his eyes, he needed help, someone to be there to reassure him that everything would be alright. And right then and there, she had to be that person.
Daniela then, with a deep sigh, then let go of Exelirus's arms, and then grabbed hold of her mask before removing it, revealing her short bright brown hair and a pair of scarlet red eyes. Exelirus gaze then met Daniela's scarlet red eyes and as it did; his vision began to twitch back forth between his hellish visions of his fallen world and reality, seeing Daniela face morph from one of the dreadful and heartless monsters that claimed the lives of his people to a woman with a pair of scarlet that filled his heart with a strange sense of warmth and comfort. Exelirus then began to scream and yell out like a mad man as struggle to make sense of what he perceived, no longer able to discern what was and was not but then, heard a voice.
Exelirus, looking at the person on top of him as she switched from monster to person in view, heard her speak. At first he thought her voice was rough and animalistic, sounding that growls and roar he heard come from the savages that were Sabraxians but then it became clear, soft, and comforting, and he was able to discern the six words that departed from her lips, "everything is going to be okay".
Exelirus, upon hearing those words, felt the veil of fear that blurred and obscured his vision, depart from his eyes. And then, for the first time since he had arrived on the blue planet, he could see the world clearly for what it was. He then looked at what he once perceived to be a monster, now being able to see the hero that saved him from going insane from the trauma and fear ingrained into him by the Sabraxian and him having to watch as turned his world in a lifeless and barren wasteland. Exelirus then calmed down with his body then stopped, slowing down and coming to a complete halt. With his body no longer vibrating his body stopped generating kinetrix energy put an end to the sparks of kinetrix energy that struck Daniela as she held on to him.
Exelirus then raise his hand towards Daniela, wanting to make sure that she wasn't just another illusion created by his broken mind but just as he hand was about to reach her in fell back down to the ground. Then slowly, his vision, along with everything around him, began to fade to black
