Chapter 18 - Chapter 18. Treated

In normal sense, Marx knew that he could be said to be shameless with his next actions. Seeing his rival down, without hesitation, he punched right under its mouth.

"Shameless you say but all is fair in love and war." He thought. That was what his grandmother used to tell him when he used vile methods to win against her but later went to apologise to her.

Marx retracted his fist as he shook his hand. Just how tough was it. But seeing the helpless look on it just proved that he had caused it pain.

But causing it pain was not what he was after. At least knocking it unconcious could prove to the gorillas how weak they were. Since that was just a casual attack, he was going to put all the strength he had in the next attack.

He swiped his right leg backwards in a semicircular manner as he took a stance. He then zoomed his right fist backwards putting all the strentgh he had into that one punch.

Everything was deathly silent as his fist cut through the air such that it appeared like there were some disturbance in the air. This fist was headed at its face.

The gorilla had frightened eyes and it resigned to its fate. The fist stopped just milimeters away from its eyes. Its brows were moving with the wind from his fist.

It had its teeth gritted and its eyes were fearful. Marx had a casual look on his face as he retracted his fist. He then stood few meters facing away from the gorilla.

He looked up at the sun which was already shining brightly. It was approaching noon time. He had his hands held in six position. He was not that shameless that he could land that hit on the gorilla.

He had wanted to destroy it but when he saw it's helpless look and its pleading eyes, he had changed his mind. They were animals though.

He had qualms to settle with the alpha but he did not have anything against the gorilla. He then stretched with his hands on the back of his knees. He had a bright smile as he enjoyed the silence.

He had finally managed to trample on the monkeys. He knew that now the alpha was scared. He turned his head to look at the alpha and it had serious look.

"That's what you get for messing aroun..." Why were they cheering? Had they started acknowledging him? He held his nose high but he could quite not feel the ground.

Why was it that his hair was hurting? And the ground somehow appeared to be getting further away from him. Well, he did not have to wonder a lot.

Well, it was not like he had not been expecting this though. Beasts were beasts. The gorilla lifted him with his hair amidst the cheering from the monkeys.

It raised him such that he was above its head. One seeing this sight could have thought that he was about to get eaten. It roared at him spluttering saliva on him.

He had to close his eyes and stop breathing because he could not take its smelly breath.

"Very ungrateful," he scoffed despite the pain on his head.

He then felt it switch and now it was holding his head with its left hand. He was grateful it had released his hair for the pain was approaching intolerable.

He dangled. He knew that trying to kick it with his legs was useless because he could not reach them. Even his hands could not embrace the single hand.

He just waited as he saw it clench its fist and punch him. Was it trying to separate his head from his body? Well, that was going to be bad.

But he felt it throw him in the air a meter hogh and punched with its fist raised. Marx hated more than anything that he could not propel himself in the air.

He was forced to take the attack and was propelled up almost 30 meters above. He directly spat blood on the gorillas face and he surely felt his ribs crack.

He fell about five meters from the gorilla on his front. His head facing sideways. That attack was definitely going to kill him had he not had the boosts.

He could feel that his stamina was drained and only one attack of that caliber could deplete it. After that, he would be rendered unconcious.

He was also realizing that the system did not heal severe injuries fast. He had to take care or he would certainly die. He raised his body as if he was about to do push-ups.

He felt some pain and he threw up another mouthful of blood. He felt his arms weak but he was beginning to feel some changes. To make something stronger, one had to damage it then recreate it again.

He forced himself to forget about the pain and he stood up. He appeared zombie like and one could assume that he would fall the next instant.

He stood straight and wiped the blood. His eyes were shining with newly found vigor. This was also the best way to improve his stats.

Using his intelligence improved nothing. He took a step forward and it was like there were needles in his bones. With gritted teeth, he lit the fire in his heart.

He took the second step and he was getting accustomed to the pain. The monkeys were now cheering and the gorilla kept slamming it's fists on its chest.

The chattering at one point turned out to be musical. Marx listened to the chattering and he decided to turn their mocks into his motivation. The fact that they were mocking him pushed him to silence them.

He crouched and like a spring, he sprung himself upwards at the gorilla. Seeing his current state, the gorilla had a sneer as it watched his futile efforts.

It used the same tactic as before to shove him off like he was a mere fly. But that was what he had been waiting for. What he was about to do called for him to use three of his stats.

Reaction, agility and speed. It required him to react very fast than the fist coming at him and move at a speed faster than the incoming fist. His agility was required when he would have to move on it.

He saw the fist come at him and immediately it landed on him, he spinned his body to and appeared above the gorilla's arm. He rolled on it and he swiftly stood on top of the gorilla's hand.

Since it had missed, he had to maintain balance so that he would not fall of the gorilla's arm. He started running on the gorilla's hand as he headed for its shoulders.

Seeing that it had failed, it tried to use its other hand to shove him away but Marx had accounted for all this and he leapt on the incoming arm.

The arm landed on its biceps and Marx used this chance as he jumped again and landed on it's right shoulder. It's reaction and agility were the lowest of it's stats.

Marx immediately turned into a mosquito in the gorilla's eyes. It kept trying to slap him away but it kept failing. Marx moved precisely on it as he saw the artery on its neck that took blood to its brain.

All he needed was a chance to accumulate his strength and punch at it. But the gorilla was not still. He had to time it perfectly as it still moved and hit it.

He was like in a game. Running from one hand to another. He at times had to land on its chest so that he could propel himself higher. He at one point landed on its head but still he was not getting the chance.

He jumped back on its shoulder and this time he almost hit it but it tried to shove him away. This made him somersault backwards and landed on its arm again.

That slight pause he received there gave him the time he required. Standing on its fist he tried to hit it but the other arm came right on him as he jumped back on the shoulder.

All he needed was a split second. The gorilla was retracting its arms ready to hit him again. He decided to take a hit and give the final blow. The odds in his favour were that he could manage to hit it if he let his guard down.

He concentrated on that one hit just like before. He ignored the gorilla's arm that was moving at it. He punched at the gorilla's neck and hit his target. Its artery.

He was shoved away by its arm and he rolled on the ground several times before he stopped. He stood up and looked at the gorilla which was now turning to look at him.

He watched as it took its first step and stopped. He heaved relieved. He snapped his finger and the gorilla fell forward with a thud.
