Fear reigned in the small hearts of the monkeys. Their hearts shook with the reverb of the vibration by the gorilla's fall.
Few minutes ago, they were clear as for who was the monster but now, they realized they had been mistaken. The true monster was standing infront of them.
5'7 tall with a proud grin on his face. He was supposed to be a toy for them during his arrest but he had turned to their worst nightmare.
Anyone could assume that since Marx had defeated the gorilla, he was now free to leave but they would forget about the alpha. The alpha was the biggest threat even more than the two gorillas combined.
Marx stood at the centre waiting for it to react. He had to win over it and dominate it. That way, even after he left with it, it would never try to run away or disobey him.
He did not have to wait for long as the alpha started walking on all fours towards him. As it moved, all male monkeys behind it would join it.
The alpha finally made its way forward and all male monkeys were surrounding Marx. Marx felt like he was a pin in the middle of a haystack.
He watched as the monkeys, like a machine started started joining and forming the giant spider. This giant spider was supposedly the most powerful in its empire.
Marx watched as it growed and reached thirty meters. He knew that it could grow larger than that. Had it not been moving with its legs on opposite sides of a building?
He watched as it became twenty meters wide. The first instinct of anyone faced with such a thing was to run. Marx watched as it grew eight legs.
Four on each side. Now, how was he supposed to defeat this thing. This was proving to be the greatest challenge he had received since he got the system's boost.
There was a way out by running but he was not sure of how many kilometers he would manage to before they caught up with him. They even were faster than him without his bike.
He asked the system to analyse its stats. He could not help but swallow when he saw the stats. These were his dream stats men!...

Agility- 5

In short he had no way in winning this. With his intelligence alone, he could but he knew that the other stats supplemented for its low intelligence.
If it were other monkeys, he would surely defeat them. But since it was the alpha guiding them, he had no way out though.
"Tell me you have a way to ruin their connection," Marx pleaded.
[There might be some way but that is going to take some time. Approximately 5 minutes. Its best you hold on for that long as system prepares]
Marx should have been discouraged by the system's answer but he was more than pleased. The fact that he could defeat it after five minutes was music to his ears.
All he had to do was to be a roach. It was very easy to kill one but that was with hundreds of atttempts if one was careless. A roach could slip between your fingers.
Studies had shown that a roach could stay alive for 8 days without its head. A roach could take a slippers hit but still survive. That was what he was going to be. A roach.
But he could not forget that it could also be killed with single strike. It took almost ten seconds to process that and an entire thirty seconds for the spider to be finally created.

The countdown was still going. He had a major mission and that was to survive for five minutes. He saw the alpha sitting on top of the spider.
The cheering was low as every monkey knew that that was their ultimate weapon. No creature in existence could fight it.
But females were usually rational usually perceptive. Every female had just witnessed a monster born as a boy. They had thought that he would lose each time but he had gone against all their expectations.
Something told them that this round was also not going to be different. They burried their fears and watched. No matter the results, as long as they survived, they were fine.
Unknown to Marx, he had gained himself some supporters. Especially the young ones. Some were looking forward to his victory.
There was not that much of cheering and it turned out that it were the males who did most of the cheering. It turned out that the females had been dragged into this by the males as they wanted to show of their strength.
It would've been a success the only mishap was that they had encountered a monster. The match officially began and the spider took giant strides towards Marx.
Marx watched as the spider raised one of its right legs. The legs were about twenty meters each. From where it stood, all it needed was to throw one hit at him.
Marx knew that his best shot was to use probability and his intelligence. Just after the spider raised the front right leg, he quickly drew virtual lines in the air and gauged where the attack was probably going to hit.
He approximated the speed such that he jumped to his left when he was sure that the spider could not change the direction of the attack.
He rolled several times as the attack missed him with a few centimeters. He stopped about three meters away. He saw the spider raise the middle right leg and shoot it at him.
It was not like he had not anticipataed this though. From its stats, it was very agile exceeding even his agility. He saw the hit was raised about one meter and that it would easily hit his chest.
He used the same method and with the virtual ray, he approximated the distance and time he was required to dodge; when it could no longer change the direction of the attack.
Marx did not roll sideways this time but he rolled forward. It was weak in cross range battles. With his approximation, with cross range, it was going to have all its stats lowered by two.
The problem was that that was still too high for him. But it was not like he was in need to defeat it. His main mission was to distract it and have the system do its thing after it was all set.
He was now charging at the spider. He could see that it was trying to stop him by throwing him attacks with the left legs. Marx precisely dodged them all.
He slid down between them and others jumped above them. The spider was trying to head back and maintain it perfect range but Marx was covering the distance between them easily.
He finally reached it and he knew that below here, the alpha would not see him and it would be difficult to control the spider.
What he knew was that all these monkeys would probably disband after he took the alpha. He was now below the spider. He saw that it had stopped moving.
Instead, it was crouching. Marx could only smile at the alpha's intelligence. Rather than starting to fight in a disorderly way, it was fighting calm and making sure that it maintained its advantage.
It crouched to almost 5 meters and like a spring, it leapt backwards and stood another 15 meters away from him. He cursed at that intelligent creature. It surely was proving to be a headache.
He took a glance at the countdown but he wished he had not.
[00:03:23]
He decided not to look at it until he received the guidance of the system. One thing he knew was that taking a hit from the spider could instantly deplete his stamina.
He did not let the spider take its stance as he charged at it once again. He crossed a distance of about five meters before the spider started throwing its legs at him.
He used the same method and he once a gain crossed the distance between them. But this time, he did not let the monkey recover its advantage.
He waited when it was crouching and he jumped on one of its legs. He held on it tight and started climbing it like he was climbing a tree. It really was like a tree because the leg was 20[Strength- 3

It felt weird that he was climbing a stack of piled monkeys. Just acting as cannon fodders. He stepped on their fur and he could tell that his hands kept poking on their closed eyes and mouths.
He actually was doing this on purpose. He happily opened their mouths wide and even blocked the noses of some. He suddenly felt himself in the air after the spider propelled itself backwards.
The alpha had a confused look when it did not see him.
