Chapter 22 - chapter 22

"Is he a dog or something?" Aaron's thoughts raced wildly as he felt Kris's warm breath brush against his neck. He mused, trying to ignore the ticklish sensation creeping along his skin.

Kris's persistent nuzzling was relentless, sending involuntary shivers down Aaron's spine. It was a strange blend of irritation and an unfamiliar longing he couldn't quite place.

The itchiness was almost unbearable, but Aaron knew he couldn't give in. If he did, Kris's enthusiastic advances might lead to something far more intense

right here by the gently babbling stream.

Determined to keep things under control,

Aaron gently placed his hands over Kris's mouth. "Can you slow down, Mr. Husband?" he asked with a playful smile, trying to lighten the mood. "Are you turning into a wolf or something?"

Kris paused, his eyes twinkling mischievously, and Aaron's heart softened at the sight. Yet, he held his ground, unwilling to lose himself at the moment.

Kris gently reached out to Aaron, his voice soft and serious. "We are a married couple. You are my senirips. I don't lack any right to touch you"

His senirips was irresistibly magnetic.

The sight of Aaron, the way he stood there, made Kris's heartache with a deep longing he couldn't push aside. Aaron possessed a certain softness, a quiet allure that irresistibly drew Kris in.

But there was something else,

to a subtle hesitation in Aaron's demeanor that left Kris questioning his next move.

Aaron didn't seem to outright reject Kris's advances,

but there was a palpable pullback, a restraint that Kris could feel just beneath the surface.

It was a confusing mix of signals. Aaron wasn't saying no, but he wasn't fully affirming yes either.

Kris found himself caught between the overwhelming desire to pull Aaron close

and the pressing need to give him space, unsure which path to take.

It wasn't that Aaron was rejecting his husband's touch; he wasn't.

He could feel Kris's presence, the warmth of his hand reaching out, and a part of him desperately

wanted to lean into it, to feel that deep connection.

But something inside him hesitated,

an inner voice whispering that now wasn't the right time.

There was a tension coiling in his body,

an unsettling feeling that something wasn't quite right,

though he couldn't pinpoint what it was. Aaron struggled to explain it, even to himself.

He didn't want to push Kris away, but he also couldn't fully embrace this moment. It was as if his heart was ensnared in a tangled web of emotions,

leaving him unsettled and uneasy, unsure of what to do next.

Kris frowned as he felt the sharp chill in the air. His gaze softened as he turned to Aaron. "It's sure cold. We should get in the car to warm up."

Aaron looked up at Kris, his mind racing with thoughts.

Is this some kind of trick? He wondered, feeling a confusing mix of curiosity and suspicion. With a gentle smile, Aaron nodded. "Yeah, I really am cold," he admitted as he began to move towards the car.

Kris, maintaining his calm demeanor,

wrapped his strong arms around Aaron and guided him towards the vehicle.

Aaron's eyes widened in surprise, and he gasped

softly as Kris's embrace caught him completely off guard.

"What are you doing?" Aaron asked, his voice trembling slightly, and his eyes reflecting confusion.

Kris didn't respond. Instead, his cold lips pressed firmly against Aaron's,

the chill of his touch contrasting sharply with the warmth Aaron had been seeking.

It felt like fire meeting ice, the cold trying to consume Aaron's warmth as their lips met, igniting a spark

that sent electric thrills through his body.
