The boy sniffles, appearing to listen to what Aaron was saying.
His eyes blinked twice, staring hesitantly at Aaron and Kris. The look in his eyes made Aaron feel even more sympathy for the boy.
The man who broke such a cute boy's heart must be a monster who doesn't deserve to live.
"Hey, it's okay. I won't force you to tell me anything or say anything.
Do you want to share? If you are willing, just nod for me. If not, my husband and I will leave you here."
The orange-haired boy seemed to become stiff for a moment, then sniffles, wiping his eyes. He nodded twice at Aaron.
Aaron beamed. The cutie was going to share his worries with him...how great!
Smiling cheerfully at the boy, Aaron guided him to sit on a fallen log beside a tree. Gently,
Aaron helped the boy down. Kris, too, was interested in what the boy had to say and also found a place to sit on the log.
In a moment, Aaron sat beside the boy.
Four pairs of eyes were looking at him. The boy appeared very tiny between Aaron and Kris.
The boy bit his lip nervously, almost hesitant, as if unsure whether he should speak or not.
"I used to have a husband," the boy sniffles and began. "My husband was nice to me before. He was a man who held authority."
"I loved him so much, and he loved me too. But I don't know what happened; I don't know when it all changed."
The boy was already crying as he tried to tell his story. Aaron patted his back, giving him the courage to continue.
"Everything changed when his childhood friend came back.
My husband, Lucien, who was always nonchalant toward me but loved me... I saw him smile for the first time when his friend Christiana came back."
"I saw that he was happy. Lucien was happy with Christiana presence, and I was happy for him too."
"I had no thoughts but that it was just great to see my husband happy.
After Christiana returned, Lucien began going to events with her.
