Chapter 27 - chapter 27

While Aaron was busy lecturing Kris about kindness and human virtues,

he did not notice the orange-haired boy behind him had begun crying.

The tears were coming out like SpongeBob SquarePants when he couldn't make patties.

By the time Aaron was talking to Kris, he heard fierce crying noises from behind. He turned and saw the cute boy crying.

This was too heartbreaking. The boy even cried until he had a runny nose, and his face was flushed.

It was so sad.

"Hey, it's okay. Don't cry. I'm here. Hey, you are not alone in these woods. Do you understand?"

Aaron excused Kris. No matter how much Kris did not want him to comfort the boy, he still managed to escape and hug the boy while patting him on the back.

The boy still seemed sad, so Aaron told him, "It's okay to share your problem. Do you want to talk about it? Now, why are you crying and looking so sad?"

The boy hesitated for a bit and looked at Aaron, stopping for a second.

"The way you called your husband 'Mr. Husband' was so sweet."

Listening to what the boy said almost made Aaron blush. But then, thinking about the times when he had been cold and given stern looks, he wondered if the boy would take back his words if he found out.

Kris, on one hand, no longer found the boy an eyesore because of the single statement he made. In all, he was happy. He liked this kind of praise.

After all the stories that the boy had shared, Aaron could finally understand that it was a matter of the heart that made the boy sad. The boy was heartbroken; it wasn't as simple as it seemed for him to be here in the woods.

It must have been serious. Such a cute boy had gotten his heart broken.

It was not right, and it was dangerous for a Senirips to have been left alone in the woods.

If you don't love them, what could have led to such a situation?

Feeling pity, Aaron hugged the boy more tightly.

"Share your problems. Come on, say it. There's no need to be shy. No one can hurt you here. Is it fear that keeps you from talking?

Don't be afraid to share your feelings. You might feel better if you say it out loud, and who knows..."

The boy was too cute for this. He seemed like a timid type.

As he thought about his situation, the orange-haired boy couldn't help but feel confused and warm at the same time. Why did this stranger care so much?

It felt almost unreal to him. He had spent so many days feeling invisible, as if his feelings didn't matter to anyone,

and now, here was a kind person reaching out to him. "Maybe I'm not as alone as I thought,"

he mused, he felt like his sorrows all ran away, by the beautiful green hair male kind word. The phrase 'Mr. Husband'

had slipped out before he even realized it, a small reflection of the hope he dared to harbor in his heart. Perhaps this man, with his gentle words,

could help him find a way out of the sadness that clung to him like a second skin. If only he could muster the courage to share what was really troubling him.

Maybe then, he could find a path back to joy and not sorrows.

This made Aaron open himself up to the boy. He was also timid at that time when he thought his husband was too cold for him.

The boy seemed to be afraid again. That's where it gets to the issue with finding people:

when you talk softly to them, you give them time to start overthinking, and Aaron understood this feeling.

Right now, it was essential that this boy talk and not remain in sorrow.
