Chapter 2 - Magic Trash

"Your name is Trash?"

"Yes."

"Why?"

"Because trash is the best, just like me."

"You named yourself trash? Well, I guess you are trash. A fitting name indeed. But I somewhat regret taking you as my disciple."

"Thank you for the praise, my master. I will live up to the expectation of being trash."

"My name is G. Amy, but just call me G or master. Now follow me out of this trashcan into the world."

Trash nodded and tried to move, but since he just got legs, he couldn't use them properly. So as G walked away, he began crawling behind her, trying to keep up.

G who saw that facepalmed and started carrying Trash to his new home.

As Trash got carried through the city, he was mesmerized by the constant light, the different buildings, and all the people in the streets.

A lot of people were looking weirdly at Trash and took photos of the 18-year-old being carried by a beautiful girl around the same age as him.

"Hey, beauty, how about you ditch the luggage on your back? Come with me, and I can carry you," someone spoke.

And before G could answer, Trash said, "What a nice thing you are. Yes, carry us too; master must be tired."

"Who was talking to you? Don't mess with me, kid. I got enough wealth to make your life a nightmare. Just imagine being stuck in a huge trashcan. That's how you would feel after messing with me. Lady, ignore this chump and come with me." He flashed an expensive-looking watch. "I will make it worth your time."

But unexpectedly, G just kept walking, and Trash was the one answering. "Thank you for your offer, but after 18 years of that, I think I will pass. Now go horse, carry us."

"You again! You dare to humiliate me in public? 5 take him out and take the girl."

A muscular and tall man walked up to the still-walking duo and stopped in front of them.

"Ah, is this our horse? Seems sturdy and well behaved." He pated the bodyguard on his head. "Go ahead, take us to our home."

Trash was happy to meet such a nice guy on his first meeting, but surprisingly, G just walked around the new horse without saying anything.

"Hey, I want a ride." Trash complained.

Meanwhile, the bodyguard was completely furious; being called a horse and ignored by the other person was more than enough. He screamed and jumped to get the girl and the guy, but suddenly someone intervened.

"Stop what you are doing right now. This is the police."

The bodyguard got captured, while G and Trash continued their journey. Meanwhile, the young master went to his dad for revenge.

"Wow, there are a lot of nice people, but why did they take the horse with them?" Trash asked.

"You really need to know more about humans and human interaction. The guy just now did not want to carry us. He wanted me to leave you behind and come with him. After you misunderstood, he wanted his bodyguard to beat you up and then take me by force."

Trash was stunned. "So he wasn't nice. He was bad. I keep that in mind."

After some more walking, they finally arrived at a hotel, where G booked out the most expensive two rooms.

Now Trash was about to start his magic journey.

"First, let's test your aptitudes." I myself am proficient in every element that is known to humans. Let's see how good your talent is."

G placed a huge crystal ball on the table. "This thing will measure your aptitude's. It is an ancient artifact, and nobody exactly knows how it works. You only have to place your hands on it, and it will tell you the elements you possess as well as your talent for set elements. Normal people have only one element. The talent goes from very low to God. Let's see what you possess."

Trash didn't entirely understand but put his hands on the ball regardless.

As soon as he did that, the ball started to change colors.

"Ok, you have the water element." G said and pressed a button on the ball to continue.

"Talent level, trash? I have never heard of this talent level before." G was shocked. She saw many people try out the ball, but there was never the talent level trash.

She took out the manual of the ball and started looking for trash.

"Here it is. Trash is by far the lowest talent level possible. It is a miracle that the element is even remotely usable. The magic user will find it impossible to reach any new stage with this element. In the history of the magic ball, trash talent has never been archived before, as the creator put it in as a joke, setting the magic parameters in a laughable proportionality to each other. The late creators last words were. The day there is a trash talent level, I will die a second time. Laughing myself to death in my grave." G read out loud.

"Seems like you are useless. Let's check if you got any more affinities."

G pressed the button, and indeed Trash had more affinities; in fact, G was losing her mind reading her disciples affinities.

"Wind affinity. Talent trash. Fire affinity. Talent trash. Lightning affinity. Talent trash. Ice affinity. Talent trash. Light affinity. Talent trash. Darkness affinity. Talent trash."

This continued for some time until...

"Time affinity. Talent trash. Well, that was every element I possess. You seem to have a trash talent in every element."

"Amazing, I will be trash at everything. This is great news." Trash said.

G just shook her head. Maybe I should toss him into the trashcan again.

"Let's see. Maybe you have more elements."

She clicked the button, and the ball started to change colors. As G saw the result, there was a weird look on her face.

"Trash affinity. Talent God." And just after she said it, the crystal ball shattered.
