"Is that her?" A girl asked Mandy. Mandy is the beauty of the school, and she has a huge crush on Red. She claims to have known him from kindergarten, so she thinks no one else deserves him. I transferred here last year, yet a few students knew me until the day Red kelvan showed interest in me. His interest in me isn't like you think. I don't know want I did to the boy, I just woke up and found my name on his blacklist. What kills me is that many people think he likes me while it's the other way around.
"She is not even pretty," the other girl said, disgusted.
"I don't get people who say that Red have feelings for her," Mandy joined in. They made sure to raise their voice for everyone to hear.
"There is no way Red could like a brat like her. She is just a trash. " they laughed. If it was last year, I'd have run to the bathroom and cried my eyes out, but I was over with that. I didn't care anymore. I ignored stares and glares from everyone and continued my way to the rocker room. Before I could reach there, a voice called behind me.
"Chubby" I didn't need to turn around to confirm who it was. I sighed and stopped. I turned around and waited for him to approach.
" I texted you to buy me water. Why didn't you do it?" He asked, towering me.
"Sorry. I forget" it was the true. I got caught up in my studies and forgot to buy him water.
"Really. I thought you were rebelling against me, " he sneered.
"I wouldn't dare," I answered politely. I was like a dog getting scolded by its master.
"Good. Then bring some sandwiches too, " he ordered and left. As if I were his personal maid. I didn't have a choice, though. It was better like this, not like in last year when everyone bullied me. I don't know why, but recently, he announced that he was the only one allowed to bully me, and if anyone else touches me,they will suffer. No one dared to go against him.
Present day.
I spent the whole day getting familiar with surroundings and the house, and later on, I watched some movies, then I got bored and went to help Anna to prepare dinner. It was almost done when Red came back. He greeted Anna and went directly to his room. We prepared the table and I offered her to dine with us but she refused, saying that if she ate she won't be able to have dinner with her family. I understood her. A family dinner was important to some people. I asked her to call Red down before she left. He took a seat opposite me and served himself.
I wasn't that hungry, but the food before me was tempting. No doubt she worked for Kelvans, she is a great cook. We sat and ate in silence. I liked it though, cause the moment one of us, opened mouth to speak, white will turn blue.
"Do you know how to cook?" He asked out of nowhere. At first, I wanted to ignore him but decided not to.
"A little," I answered before sipping on the vegetable soup. A beam of ecstasy from the taste lit my eyes as the soup savoured on my tongue.
"Admit it if you don't." Here he goes again. I should have ignored him in the first place. However, I can't let him ruin my appetite, right? So I acted like I didn't hear him and focused on eating.
"No wonder you are chubby. You eat like a cow, " he mocked. I shot him a glare and arrogant jerk he is, he smirked in return. I put down my fork in fury and chewed food left inside my mouth while I gathered all my frustration together.
"Don't start a war on me, Mister. I don't think you will like the result. " One day with him and I was already angered above optimum.
"Looking forward to it," he smirked again. How I wished I had something like a hammer with me. That way, I can smash that smirk off his face.
"You know what? I always found your face annoying, especially that smirk of yours. I really dispise it, " I seethed.
"I like that you hate it," he retorted. He is really getting on my nerves.
"Sometimes I wonder if you were given a mind of pig instead of human cause you act exactly like one. Disgusting" I didn't care. If I sounded offensive, he is the one who seems to have a problem with peace.
He let out an evil chuckle. "Thanks, but you should look at yourself first. You look more like it, " I scoffed. Did he just say I'm fat? Well, I'm not skinny, but I'm not fat either. We stared, shooting burning glares to each other.
"Have you seen a pretty girl like me? Even those girls you fuck can't compare to me" I spat, you shouldn't question a girl's beaty, dumbass.
"You can't even pass in hundreds" he mocked.
"Then don't blame me if I say you are blind"
"I'd rather stay that way". I gritted my teeth in anger as I stared at the devil before me. If being angry really reduced a person's life span,I'd be dead by now.
"This conversation is not over" I growled.
"Ofcourse. It's not" he retorted back.
"You do the dishes" I pushed them his way.
"Not a chance. You do them" he pushed them back.
"I cooked" I nagged.
"We have a cook" he answered.
"I helped " I retorted.
"Doesn't count" I wanted to chop off his tongue. I calmed my self down and put on a smile.
"We divide them then" that was my final offer.
"You can't make your husband wash dishes, right?" I faked an agreement.
"Who lectured me about gender before?" He groaned in frustration, and I smiled in my mind.
"Fine," he said, defeated and stood, taking his plates away. I followed after him, satisified.
