The male archer pulled out a banner with a constellation on it. The banners constellation was of a man looking off into the distance, his long hair behind him, and an open book in his hands.
during his mana into the scroll Skuggir, as on of his sword bearein companions fell, the ceiling and walls of the room turned pitch black. getting his minions to re-group, Skuggir could tell this was probably why he had a bad feeling
with everyone waiting for something to happen in their respective groups, still firing arrows at each other, the pitch black that had covered the ceiling and walls of the arena started to dot itself in stars.
within these stars a mix of nebulas and supernovas could be seen along the wall, and the cosmic radiation that could usually not be seen due to light pollution where on full display, bathing the room in a multicolored tapestry of blues, purples, and red.
The colors of the rainbow that shined through the room-wide depiction of the night sky, started to blend together, their form revealing to be a man, the same man that had been on the banner. The man, wielding a book, started too and cast magic. His spell gathered the comic radiation and nebulas that dotted the entire room.
Releasing his spell, the man calmly stated, "I am Apolion. break before my insight." And with those words a large flash consumed the whole room destroying everything inside of it. Melting every human and Skelton alike like they where Ice cream next too the sun.
while the large human with bulging muscles and the Eclipse hoplites but up a good fight, their shields could not block radiation, and both their bones could not stop being liquified by the visibly extreme wave of radiation.
the archers of both sides didn't fare well either putting up the least resistance, the faces of horror on the male archers face evident as he realized those Apolion church bastards never intended for them to come out of this alive.
Skuggir, fathers from the blast, but quickest to react to the tapestry of colors had put up a large wall of dungeon stone with [Earth Mould] in all directions and as thickly as possible.
Skuggir knew that if that was real cosmic radiation it could be as much as 10,000 times more potent then the average that leaks onto the earth surface everyday.
as the wave hit his wall it crumbled and transformed under the radiation, but Skuggir just raised more walls and started to dig himself underground.
by the time the wave of radiation broke through all his defenses Skuggir had buried himself under the dungeons floor, waiting for the prettiest nightmare he had ever seen to end.
after a few minutes of waiting, Skuggir removed the top of his hole and peeked out. seeing the constellation gone, and the only other thing left in the room, Skuggir climbed from his temporary shelter.
sitting in the air not five meters from the entrance to the room, a ripped and watered banner sat their unaffected by the torrential radiation that had ripped through the very same space mere moments earlier.
going and picking up the banner, Skuggir system automatically absorbed the treasure.
[Minor deity Apolion's deity banner piece 1/10]
[collet all banner pieces to steal all the power of the deity]
reading the system notification, Skuggir was shocked. This meant he had just stolen a gods power from them through an item that represented their being!
looking like an insane asylum patient, Skuggir talked to the air in front of himself. "Whats the difference between a god and deity? System?"
[God - being of supreme power and control over concepts they represent — general term]
[Deity - being that represents a concept within their own world - general term]
[both are higher beings but gods are stronger, and harder to kill]
getting back to reality Skuggir realized he would need new skeletons and that Clacker had died for good. putting his hands together, Skuggir offered his prayer for Clacker.
Entering the [Shop], Skuggir would have stared crying rivers if he wasn't a skeleton. each Eclipse Hoplite beyond the two free ones left would cost him 3000 gold, and he only had 6000 gold after those adventurers defeats.
Skuggir still needed to replace the Skeleton giant, six Skeleton hoplites, and four Eclipse archers. There was nowhere for him to pull that kind of money form without taking on crippling debt!
settling for the budget team, Skuggir took the two remaining free Eclipse Skeleton hoplites, and eight greater skeletons. alongside the greater Skeltons he purchased two sets of daggers and cloaks, a full plate armor set and accompanying giant battle axe, in addition to three bows with light leather armor, and two black robes hung open the gnarly branches acting as staffs.
Skugir new team Consisted of two Skeleton hoplites, two Greater Skelton rouges, a Greater Skeleton tank, three Greater Skeleton archers, and two Greater Skeleton dark mages.
all he greater skeletons didn't actually have classes, Skuggir had just divided them based off the weapons they now carried.
Exiting the room, Skuggir failed to notice the changes going on within his own dungeon core that acted as the center of his been and container of his soul.
checking up on he rest of the dungeon, Skuggir came to the conclusion that there was no real fallout from the radiation, at least not enough to harm him and his Skeltons minions.
Skuggir was unable to realize that the radiation wouldn't just magically vanish, and had instead seeped into the stone of the dungeon and even the air of the boss chamber he had now left empty. the effect it would bring unknown to even he gods that watched him like a movie.
outside the dungeon in the city of Ignalis, a group of two women and a older man walked out from the vicinity of the Large stone dungeon doors with scowls on their faces. the adventurers had died, and the skeletons at the start of the dungeon where still operating, meaning their master had not yet died.
as they walked away they all felt less connect to their god suddenly and panicked. rushing back to the temple the group saw the statue of their god forming cracks that covered about ten percent of its surface.
panicking the entire temple and its delivers started to rush around trying to find offerings to their god. But none of the thing they offered did anything to repair the cracks.
such a scene could be seen at every temple to Apolion, as a treasure that made of his power had been destroyed and assimilated by another. This chaos through many weaker cities and towns in turmoil as they feared retribution form an angry god.
