Chapter 39 - Twins

Marcus tapped his chin thoughtfully. "And what about Rain? Have you considered why she'd be so adamant about this? There might be something going on with her that we don't understand yet."

"True," Junior admitted, his gaze drifting out the window to the serene river flowing beside them. "

Jay leaned forward, his voice firm yet compassionate. "We'll figure it out, man. We'll dig through the details, talk to everyone involved, and get to the truth. Whatever it takes."

Marcus nodded

They sat in silence for a moment, the weight of the situation settling heavily in the air. The river outside flowed steadily, a stark contrast to the turbulent emotions swirling inside the car.

The junior nodded, feeling a glimmer of hope. "Alright. Let's do this. For Rain, for the twins"

With that, they started the car and drove off,

Rose, we have a problem.

What's wrong?

The company's share price is dropping. What should we do?

We need to assess the situation carefully before taking any action. First, let's gather all relevant data to understand the root cause of the decline.

They tried tackling the issue, but it kept dropping.

What really is happening? It's like someone is deliberately dropping.

Mr. Jung called Rose. "What?" asked Rose. "Who did you mess?"

"Father, I have no idea."

Mr. Jung sighed, rubbing his temples in frustration. "This isn't just a coincidence, Rose. There are too many variables at play here. you need to dig deeper."

Rose nodded, her mind racing. "Let's start by looking into recent market trends and any news that might have impacted our sector. We should also scrutinize our internal operations for any discrepancies."

"Agreed," Mr. Jung said. "I'll gather the team for a meeting. We need to act fast but smart."

As Rose prepared for the meeting, she couldn't shake the feeling that there was more to this than met the eye. Could there be a mole within the company? Was someone sabotaging their efforts from the inside?

The meeting room buzzed with tension as the team assembled, each member aware of the gravity of the situation. Rose took a deep breath and began, "We are facing a significant challenge. Our priority is to identify the cause of the share price drop and formulate a strategy to counteract it. I need everyone to be thorough and precise in their investigations."

Hours passed as the team pored over data, dissected reports, and brainstormed possible scenarios. Rose's phone buzzed with a new message, a tip from an anonymous source: "Check the recent transactions of your top executives."

Her heart pounded as she relayed the information to Mr. Jung. "This could be the lead we need," he said. "Let's cross-check the transactions and see if there's a pattern."

The results were startling. Several high-level executives had been offloading their shares in large quantities right before the drop. Rose's eyes widened in realization. "Insider trading," she whispered.

Mr. Jung nodded grimly. "i need to confront them and take immediate action to stabilize the company. This is just the beginning, Rose. We must stay vigilant."

Junior, Marcus, and Jay are sitting in the lounge.

"We began by targeting their market share, a task that will occupy them for some time," Marcus explained.

Junior nodded, "Yes, but I need to meet with Mr. Jung and have a conversation with him."

"He needs to make sure his daughter understands not to interfere with you, Junior," Marcus added.

Jay glanced at his watch, then looked up at his friends. "We should also consider our next move. They might retaliate faster than we anticipate."

Junior sighed. "You're right, Jay. We need to stay one step ahead. Meeting with Mr. Jung is just the first step."

Marcus leaned back in his chair, a thoughtful expression on his face. "Agreed. I'll reach out to our contacts and ensure we're well-prepared for any counteractions. In the meantime, Jay, can you gather intel on their current operations? Knowing their weaknesses could give us a significant advantage."
