Another few weeks had gone by and William had made progress in seeing and following wind mana.
Right now he is sitting in his bed like always with his eyes closed.
William's vision was now looking at the black particles of mana, and over the last two weeks, he got to know which mana particle would turn into wind mana.
'That particle is vibrating!' William exclaimed inwardly as he focused on the mana particle that was vibrating.
[Do you think that mana particle is really going to change into wind mana?]
The voice asked, almost sceptical, wanting to test William's confidence.
"I think so, from what I have observed for the past few weeks, those black mana particles vibrate a little before they convert!" William mumbled confidently as he focused on that single mana particle.
The rest of the floating mana particles around him faded and his entire vision was filled with the tiny mana particles that were vibrating sideways.
It made no sound nor did it move in any direction but vibrate.

The voice stayed silent as it let William do his thing.
The mana particle's vibration quickened as time went on and
WHOOSH
It turned vibrant green all of a sudden and just shot off William's vision.
But surprisingly, a smirk developed on William's face as if expecting this. The vision in his mind became blurred as it followed the mana particle.
Although it didn't leave any trail, it did let off a green light and, 'That is what I am going to use!'
He followed the green light and quickly, his eyes were set on it. His vision scrutinised the green mana particle to see what made a Normal mana particle a wind mana.
His heartbeat rose as he tightly clenched his sweating fists, he was excited, finally! Finally, he was going to see how wind mana forms and how to store and manipulate it.
The air in his room was filled with heavy tension as William's vision followed the green mana like a hawk.
It surveyed the wind mana, looking for clues, and that's when his chest tightened while adrenaline rushed into his blood; he found it; he found what he was looking for!
"THAT MARK!!" William exclaimed as he jumped out, yelling. He opened his eyes, revealing his jewel-like amethyst eyes that were shining in victory.
"Hey! I have seen it!" William yelled as he pumped his tiny fists in the air.
[Shhh!! Calm down! Your mother might hear you!]
The voice warned, trying to calm his excitement down. It didn't want William's mother, who was one of the most powerful women in this world, to find out that her son was doing something no one could ever do!
"Oh!" William exclaimed as he shut his mouth and covered them with his little hands.

He fell back on his soft velvet bed with a soft bed. Although he looked like he had calmed down, his drum-like heartbeat and glistening eyes said otherwise.
"I have seen it!" William repeated, but this time in a hushed tone.
[First, explain what you have seen so I can confirm whether you have seen the right thing or not!]
"Okay!" William said excitedly, his hands were tightly curled into fists while his jaw was clenched, 'After all these weeks and months of training! I did it!'
"So," William began, holding his breath, "I said that before a mana particle turns into wind mana, it vibrates, right?"
[Mmhmm, yes, go on!]
"That's not the only thing that happens!" William said, almost bursting out a grin, "The important thing that makes a neutral mana particle, a wind mana particle, is that mark!"
William exclaimed out loud with excitement; he couldn't wait to try some cool stuff with the wind mana he was going to accumulate and manipulate.
[Mark!?]
The voice asked, acting innocent, but William, who had practically lived with the voice his entire life, picked it up, picked up the faint trace of excitement and anticipation in its voice.
"Yes, the mark of a bident!" William declared when William was watching the wind mana while it was travelling at incredible speeds. He noticed the mark of a bident on the wind mana.
'I haven't noticed before because it was too fast or it was facing the other side where my vision can't see yet!'
The voice turned silent for a while, it didn't even let out a squeak, making William panic.
"Wait! Was it not the right one?" William asked, his voice uncertain while he inwardly prayed that he was right, 'I don't want to sit and do meditation for the rest of my life!' He grumbled.
[....No, you are not wrong! You are right. YOU ARE FREAKING RIGHT!!!!]
The voice, barely a whisper at the start, almost blew William's ears off at the end as it screamed in excitement.
[YOU ARE RIGHT, WILLIAM!!]
It screamed again, making William close his ears with his fingers.
"Hey, calm down! You are too loud!" William almost yelled, only reigning his voice at the last second. 'I don't want to wake up mom!'
[You are right!]
The voice exclaimed, it took a moment, calming itself down.
[Tell me more details, like how does it look!?]
The voice asked, it didn't even hide its excitement anymore.
"Ummm," William hummed as he recalled the image of the bident.
"Ah! It had sharp edges and glowed in like a mix of black and dark green, and it's not the full image of a bident but only its head. Its two edges were slightly curved outward, and they had straight corners; it's not like a curve like a bow but like sharp edges!"
William tried to explain what he had seen but also wondered inwardly whether the voice had understood what he had said.
[Great! That is really it! You have done it, William! In no time, I promise you that you will become the most powerful!]
The voice proclaimed with excitement, saying some bold statements.
William's eyes widened at the voice's words, becoming the most powerful. Wasn't he doing all this to become that so that he could protect his family?
"Really!?"
William asked with excitement, his already risen heartbeat went up even more.
[Yes!]
The voice answered,
[First, let me explain what the mark really is and how it helps you to gather and manipulate wind mana!]
William immediately sat upright as he even clenched his buttcheeks in, 'I don't want to miss this!' He muttered inwardly as he carefully listened to the voice's next words.
[The mark of the bident is something that makes neutral mana, wind mana!]
[The mark is assigned by nature! The overseer and the origin of all things!]
The voice began explaining the origin of the mark and what it entails.
A ton of questions hit William's mind at the voice's words, but he decided to shut up and let the voice say everything, 'I will ask everything at the end!?'
The voice too, as if appreciating William's decision, continued,
[Right now, you don't need to think about nature a lot, as it's too advanced for you yet, but the information you need to know is this!]
[Nature created mana, and from mana came everything!]
[But of course, as you have seen, neutral mana doesn't do anything, it just floats around!]
[So for the creation to take place, nature created various symbols, with each one having different properties!]
[The bident you say is for wind; for water, it would be trident; for earth, it's a spear and so on!]
[There are an infinite amount of symbols, with each having an infinite number of properties and combinations!]
[And the most important ones are elemental ones; there are a lot of them with ice, lightning, sand, and metal, to name a few!]
[Nature then imprints these symbols on neutral mana, turning it into different kinds of mana!]
William soaked all of this information like a sponge, although he had a lot of questions, he was still amazed by the complexity and the inner workings of the creation.
[And the way you can use this information is like this!]
The voice echoed through his mind; its voice deepened and became serious almost instantly.
William's eyes glinted with sharpness as he stopped his breath, this was too important for him to lose concentration.
[To manipulate and gather wind mana is simple, you have to create a perfect replica of the bident you have seen in your mind!]
[And voila! The mana will flock at you like sheep and control the wind mana becomes the easiest compared to everyone else!]
William felt goosebumps all over his body; this was all he was waiting for, all the meditation and viewing the mana might be cool, but William didn't see any practical applications from it.
But right now, 'I have a plan to move forward, a concrete plan where I understand what I have to do clearly! I will not let it go to waste!'
His fingers dug deeper into his palms while his amethyst eyes whole valiantly as he thought of protecting his family. After all, they are everything he has.
As William was all excited and ready to give his everything for the upcoming training, the voice's words reverberated through his mind.
