Gaia left after connecting her core to the room, a sly smirk on her face.
'Ah! From tomorrow on I will always be with you, little William. I'll make sure I get close to you.'
Watching her smirk, Ophiscus's mouth twitched. He wanted to stop this but could only sigh in defeat, powerless against her.
He could already foresee his wives throwing a fit.
And throw a fit they did. Ara and Aquilla were furious.
Aquilla couldn't stand the idea of someone outside their family living with their son.
'If I were more powerful, and if she wasn't the world itself, I would've already gone to war with her. This is so frustrating.'
She looked at Ophiscus and declared, "Husband, she is not going to live with William. She is definitely up to something. What would you do if she did something to him? We can't even go near that room."
"Why would she do anything to our son? If anything, she is probably the most eager to make our son the strongest," Ophiscus replied.
"But what if she influenced him and made him her puppet? We can't stop her from doing that," said Ara.
"But why would she do that?" Ophiscus asked again.
"No buts! She IS not going to live with us," both Aquilla and Ara said simultaneously, their expressions firm.
'Ahhhh! I knew this would happen. But I agreed since it is beneficial for our family.'
Ophiscus looked at Carina, his ever-intelligent wife, hoping she would convince them.
Carina stepped forward. "Sisters, I think it's fine to let Lady Gaia stay with us."
"What do you mean, Carina? She's definitely scheming something. How can you agree with this?" Aquilla was baffled.
"I know she has a plan, but I don't think she will harm William or us."
'No matter what, she cannot separate William from us.'
"Sisters, I think she just wants to get close to William so he feels compelled to save her when she's in danger."
She turned to Aquilla. "She also possesses immense knowledge about lost civilizations across time. She will definitely teach William."
She hit the final nail by pointing out, "Her staying with us will also benefit us."
"How?" asked Aquilla, struggling to see the advantages.
"She would help us become more powerful."
"Why would she help us?"
"Just like she's using William's growth as an excuse, we will use William's happiness. I am confident she will do anything to make him happy."
"Ah!" Both exclaimed, understanding Carina's point.
"Hmm, I guess she can stay with us," Aquilla said, pondering.
"I guess. But we have to ensure she doesn't get too close to him," Ara added.
"Mmhhmm," Aquilla nodded.
"Alright, we will let her stay with us," Ara concluded.
SIGH
"Thank goodness you agreed," Ophiscus said, sighing in relief. "Let's go to bed. It's getting late."
"Hmm, where are you going?" Aquilla asked, her gaze questioning.
"To bed. It's late," Ophiscus replied, confused.
Aquilla shook her head and pointed to the couch. "You're sleeping on the couch."
"Why?" Ophiscus asked, baffled.
"You made an important decision about our son without consulting us. You're on the couch for a month," Aquilla stated firmly.
It took a moment for Ophiscus to process this. "B-But I did it for our family."
"Whether it is beneficial or not, you made a decision without us. Sleep on the couch," Ara reiterated.
"A month is too long. How can I sleep without you girls?" Ophiscus pleaded.
Anyone would be shocked to see the strongest man on the planet, known to dominate the battlefield, in such a state.
"You should've thought about that when you decided without our consent," Aquilla said.
The wives walked towards their bedroom.
"C-Carina, please—" Ophiscus hoped Carina would intervene, but,
"Hmph," she snorted and followed her sisters.
'Ah.'
Ophiscus's face fell, his back slumped. He trudged to the couch and collapsed onto it.
His wives turned at the door and snorted in unison.
BANG
The door slammed shut.

Sebastian approached Ophiscus's chambers to discuss an important matter. He knocked and entered, surprised at Ophiscus's downtrodden face.
'Looks like the master had a fight with his wives,' Sebastian thought with an amused smile.
Before he could speak, Ophiscus grumbled, "I don't want to deal with anything right now. And wipe that smile off your face; it's annoying."
"Huhuhu, very well, master," Sebastian replied, his smile widening.
'Ah! Watching him like this sure is funny,' Sebastian mused.
"Ahem! Master, the carriages sent to the Marduk forest."
Ophiscus's gaze turned serious. "Who's taking care of them?"
"Lady Vela," Sebastian said solemnly.
He was a little scared of her, not just him, everyone was. The nobles called her 'The bloodthirsty demon.'
He shivered, recalling her crazy laugh during her killing spree against traitors.
"If it's her, then I can be assured," Ophiscus mused. "Assign her to get rid of all the corrupt nobles and traitors. Tell her she's free to do as she sees fit."
"I-Is it okay, master?" Sebastian stuttered.
He could already see the rivers of blood and mountains of corpses.
"It's fine. I'll handle the aftermath."
'Ah! I pray for their poor souls,' Sebastian thought.

Near Marduk forest,
"Where are they now?" Asked a man, who was wearing black clothes to cover his entire body. The aura he was emanating from him as that of a grandmaster.
"They will be arriving in a few hours sir. Said a man, kneeling at a distance
"What about security?" Asked the grandmaster.
"There are 50 experts and 4 masters accompanying them, it is also confirmed that Lady Ara is also coming with the child."
"Heh! Leave that bitch to me, when they arrive, we will ambush them and take that bitch and the child hostage."
"Yes, sir" The man replied and left.
'Hehehe, I don't know what caused that bastard to abandon you but, now that he did. I will make you mine.'
Thought the grandmaster with a sinister laugh.
Just thinking about her kneeling between his legs made him hard.
'Ahhhh, I can't wait!'
