Flora came into Gus's room without asking for permission. She saw her brother engrossed in something on his tablet. As she approached, he didn't even notice her; he was so absorbed in the video, occasionally smiling at what he was watching.
Flora watched him for a moment, waiting for him to notice her, but he was too engrossed. She finally called out, "Gus, what are you watching? Is it that interesting?"
She reached to grab the tablet from his hand, but he stopped her midway, saying, "Sister Flora, you're here? When did you come in?" He didn't look at her, still focused on the screen.
Flora sat down beside him and started to look at what he was watching. She saw it was a video of Ajax training. As she watched, her mood lightened and a smile appeared on her face. But when she saw Baillie kiss Ajax, she clenched the armrest of the chair she was sitting on.
Gus, startled by her sudden movement, asked, "What is it, sister? Why do you look angry? See how beautiful their sibling relationship is. I heard he was the one who saved us from that Levi prison and was adopted by Ker, the Blood Queen."
Flora thought the woman kissing Ajax was a training partner, not his sister. She couldn't accept it. She asked Gus, "Who is she?"
Gus looked at her and said, "Oh, she's Baillie, Ker's daughter. You didn't know that?" he asked.
Flora looked at Baillie with flames in her eyes. If Baillie were in front of her now, she would fight to the death with her. Her jealousy was consuming her, but Gus, unaware of his sister's condition, continued watching the video. "Sister, look at their relationship. They look made for each other. They care for each other so much. Look, he's hugging her. Look, sister!" He showed the part of the video where Ajax hugged Baillie after meeting her old self.
Flora felt like a volcano ready to explode. The eruption zone was Gus's room, and she needed a reason to let her anger out. Gus unknowingly provided that reason. "Sister, why did you come here? Did you want to inform me of something? If you're free, you can watch Ajax's training video from the start. You can really witness what a sibling bond should look like and learn from it. You can treat me the same as Baillie treats Ajax."
Flora, needing a reason to explode, found her reason. She said, "Gus, you are going to join God Academy with me. Grandfather asked me to inform you."
Gus, not aware of the impending doom, asked, "So?"
With flames in her eyes and a grim smile on her face, Flora said, "So, if you are going to join God Academy with me, you need some capability to stand beside me. Let's go train like brother and sister," she said with a smile.
As Gus and Flora arrived at the training ground, Flora suggested with a gentle smile, "Gus, today, why don't we only use and learn hand-to-hand combat? In case you don't have a weapon, you can use this battle experience. What do you think?"
Flora was suggesting hand-to-hand combat because she wanted to beat Gus to near death. Gus, not knowing his sister's true intentions, thought about Flora coming to help him when he was injured, taking care of him like Baillie did for Ajax. He imagined Flora stopping the blood from a small wound he might get in a fight. He was lost in his own fantasy.
"Okay," Gus said.
Flora, like an angry football player ready to kick the ball with all her might, As started the session. Here, the football was Gus. Flora came in front of him with lightning speed and kicked him. Gus went airborne like a football, crashing to ground like ball and bouncing a few times. Like a player chasing a ball, Flora came lighting speed right there, kicking him again into a goal like the wall of the training ground. This hell was repeated a few more times Gus.
Gus, who had been daydreaming, was now facing this sudden onslaught from his sister. He didn't understand what he had done wrong. he was now beaten ball with no air in it His dream of Flora taking care of him shattered like glass. He tried to stop her, but his words fell on deaf ears. Flora didn't listen. She was like a force of nature, relentless in her attack.
Blood flowed from Gus's nose and mouth every hole in his body , and he was bruised all over. Flora, having vented her anger, looked at him. This wasn't the first time Gus was in this position. Whenever he ran his mouth without knowing other how other reacting to his words , his grandfather or Flora would beat him. He had become their stress relief.
Flora, feeling a bit sorry for him, justified her actions to herself, "It's all his fault." She retrieved an elixir from her ring, opened the bottle, and handed it to Gus. "Drink it."
Gus obediently drank the elixir. His bleeding stopped, and his wounds began to heal. He fully recovered.
Flora, looking at Gus, said, "Now that you're recovered, let's start your training again," she said with a happy smile.
Gus, now recovered, stared in fear of another beating. But luckily for him, Flora's anger had subsided. They practiced as they usually did, and Gus only gained some minor wounds by the end of the session. He sighed in relief.
Meanwhile, Ajax was in the library, collecting books and stacking them on a reading table, preparing like a student studying the night before an exam.
