Ajax looked at his sister, who was on the verge of tears. He pulled himself up and went to her side, hugging her tightly. "I'm sorry, sister, for pushing you like that," he said, his voice trembling as he recalled his encounter with his old self.
Baillie, concerned, asked, "Does it hurt anywhere?"
Ajax shook his head. "No, sister, I'm fine. It's just that…" he trailed off.
Baillie stopped him before he could say more. "Okay, for now, you can go and rest. Tomorrow we will be going somewhere."
"Where is it, sister?" Ajax asked.
"To home," Baillie replied with a happy tone.
Ajax smiled. "Home? You mean we are going to your home, I mean, our home, right?"
Baillie nodded. "Yes, we are going to our home to register you officially as my brother. Even though I've already said it, we must make it official."
"Okay, sister. I'll meet you tomorrow then," Ajax said, and they both went their separate ways.
As Ajax lay on his bed, he remembered meeting his old self and couldn't understand why it happened. He decided to ask Ceil about it.
"Ceil, I want to ask you a question. Answer honestly," Ajax said.
"Okay," Ceil responded.
"Did you feel that I met my old self when sister Baillie kissed me?" Ajax asked.
"No, I didn't feel anything like that," Ceil replied.
"Really?" Ajax pressed.
"Really. But I can't say for sure. Did something happen to you in your old universe before coming here?" Ceil inquired.
Ajax, not wanting to remember, said, "Yeah, something like that."
Ceil chuckled softly. "So, it means that your old self or your past is trying to protect something it truly loves. It wants to protect that person, and your ability of void chaos might be the reason you saw your old self."
Ajax thought for a while and said, "It might be. I made a great mistake. I should have cherished that person from the beginning. I thought they would always be with me, but they had their own desires and power they wanted to gain. Because of my mistake, someone else took advantage of the situation. At the same time, I forgot the main rule of the supernatural world: power is everything. That person became powerful, and I couldn't go against them. On the other hand, I, who was powerless, became weak. Ceil, what did I do wrong? The sacrifices I made were all useless. First, God was never on my side. He took my parents that I never knew. Then, he gave me power, only to destroy my home and clear the field for another to build their house in front of me without killing me. He should have killed me. I would have been a happy man, but he tortured me in every way possible. My life there was hell."
Ceil comforted Ajax. "I don't know what happened, but the past is past, Ajax. Anyone can make mistakes, but if you learn from them and don't repeat them, you will be happy. Remember, I will always be with you, okay?"
Feeling better after hearing Ceil's comforting words, Ajax said, "Thanks, Ceil, for your kind words." He expressed his gratitude and fell asleep.
Meanwhile, the second prince, William, sat in his chamber. A knock on the door interrupted his thoughts.
"Who is it?" William asked.
"My lord, it's Ravi from the intelligence department," came the reply.
"Enter," William commanded.
Ravi entered the room, bowing slightly. William looked at him and asked, "What is it, Ravi?"
"My lord, the first princess has been found," Ravi reported.
William sat up with excitement. "Where is she?" he asked hurriedly.
Ravi replied, "We don't know where she was, but she is going to join the God Academy."
William sat back down, processing the information. "The God Academy?" he repeated.
"Yes, sir. We received information from the underworld, and it has been verified by the intelligence department," Ravi confirmed.
"Did Father write a recommendation letter to the academy?" William asked, suspecting his father's involvement.
"Yes, sir. Your father wrote a recommendation letter to the academy," Ravi replied.
William sighed, knowing his father would do whatever he wanted. He was aware of the tension between him and his sister but couldn't do anything against his father. Even if he opposed his sister, the God Academy was a problem. It was a place where one could enter with a recommendation letter and status, but no one could control what happened inside. The academy was built with the cooperation of all the gods' pantheons, so no one had full control over it. If someone entered it, nothing could be done to them until they left the academy.
William looked at Ravi. "You can go back and keep an eye on Levi," he ordered.
"Yes, my lord," Ravi said, bowing and leaving the room.
A man in a black coat, with only his eyes visible, entered. "My lord, a small universe has been captured as you suggested," the man reported.
William, lightening up, looked at the man. "Dennis, you've come. What did you find there? Anything good?" he asked.
"No, sir. We didn't find anything valuable, but we did find some ogres and humans. They are completely useless. The gods in that universe are also very weak," Dennis explained.
William's mood darkened. "Anything else? If they are not useful, destroy them completely," he ordered.
"Sir, we can destroy them, but those humans have a high belief energy in them. We can make them warships. You, as their god, my lord," Dennis suggested.
"No, don't do that. Experiment with them. Take the powerful races among the universe you find and mix them with those humans. If they become useful after that, keep them alive. If not, kill them. I myself was a humans, but the difference in strength and biology is huge. As high human, I don't expect those lowly beings to exist. If they become strong after the experiment, keep them alive. If not, destroy them," William commanded.
Dennis, trembling with fear because he was also a human, replied, "Yes, my lord. I will do as you say." He left the room.
William looked out of the window with an evil smile. "Sister, whatever you do, you can't go against me. Whoever helps you, I will destroy them all," he said, laughing loudly.
