When Cassian returned to his room Dylan was done showering. He is drying his hair. Cassian slowly stepped towards his bed and put down his bag. He threw his cap away as if tired of wearing them. It feels uncomfortable wear them during this kind of weather. It is too hot. He grabbed the towel and other clothes heading to the bathroom. Under the cold water he washed all his fatigue and dirt he accumulated in a day. He can see in the mirror how he looks, and he is satisfied looking at the compact muscles. After done showering he wore his cloths slowly and with towel hanging on his neck went out. He didn't dry his hair as usual.
Looking outside he felt sudden urge to meditate. He left the towel and walked out. He also didn't bring his headphones like he does in other times. He sat down at once and started to meditate. His body feeling the cold wind blowing over his body. The wind dancing between his hairs and drying them. The slowed chirping sound of evening birds making his hearing sense more sensitive. He closed eyes seeing nothing but letting the calm feeling take over him.
Dylan saw his movements and how he went outside to do his meditation and didn't sit down to study directly. Cassian seems to do meditation daily. He never missed it even a single time since the college started. Noticing this Dylan didn't make any sound to disturb him. His gaze returned to his notes yet soon fell on the paper beside him.
He sighed. This evening when he came back after his classes there was a paper stuck on the door. It was a notice. For them to remind that they have to join the club. One club at the minimum and submit their forms to the respective club leader. Dylan has no wish to join any club, but he has no choice here. He will have to select one.
Why is this mandatory? He sighed again when Cassian came in. He glanced at the time and noticed he wasted fifteen minutes thinking about this random stuff. But he asked Cassian. "You joined any club yet?" Taking his personality into consideration Dylan can guess that he hasn't join any club.
Sure, enough Cassian looked at him and asked, "Club? Oh" He took a deep breath and licked his lips saying, "I didn't. Now I remember that it was a mandatory activity. But I do have the form."
Dylan asked, "Which club will you be joining?" He has no idea, so he wants to hear Cassian's opinion. But Cassian shook his head, "That I don't know. I was intending to skip it completely." He thought what club should I choose? At the first day of my college i was the target or say became the target of the archery group. Thinking about how shameful this is, Cassian promised to never reveal this embarrassing moment to anyone in his whole life.
Dylan pursed his lips looking down at the unfilled form before him. He sighed having no idea which group he should be joining. Cassian clapped at this moment and said attracting Dylan's attention away, "How about we see all the list of the club here in the college and choose one of them?"
Although none of them likes to go out where they can attract attention this time, they got no choice. Both sighed internally but agreed to do the same externally. Cassian than happily sit down on his seat to start his night study. He moved his hands to grab the pencil box beside him but landed on a plastic bag instead. Looking at the neatly packed food and given the faint aroma it is spreading; Cassian knew what it is right away. He asked Dylan, "You brought the breakfast this morning too. I'm sorry I met your brother and thought to give you two some personal space." And successfully missed the delicious food.
Dylan heard his explanation. His lips tilted slightly. He didn't look back but replied, "En. No need to say sorry. I knew when I saw my brother inside." After saying this he placed his pen down and closed his notebook. He wore the jacket.
He said, "I will heat the food and bring it for you." Saying this he approached Cassian and lowered himself to take the plastic bag. In that moment, Cassian can feel his head touching Dylan's hot abdomen muscles. It was warm. The woody cologne which gives both warm and rich smell of sandalwood made Cassian subconsciously take a deep breath. His action made him stunned. Dylan didn't seem to notice his unusualness as he took the bag and left naturally. Cassian heard him closed the door and he grabbed his orange hair. As if feeling frustrated and almost triggering his childish side.
Dylan closed the door behind and exhaled deeply. He unknowingly held his breath for so long. His gaze was fixed at Cassian fair nape. It was fair and soft orange hair gracing his eyes. He felt that if he could only kiss him there. But he snapped out of this thought, and he tried his best to react calmly. He sighed not knowing what and how and why all of these is happening. He slowly descended down through the stairs and had his dinner in trance.
After he asked one of the aunties to heat the food for Cassian, he slowly returned to their room. While walking he saw various couples holding hands and being very intimate. Dylan cannot even imagine himself being like that with any girls. How will he hold their hands and walk looking at them eyes filled with love.
His gaze landed on the moon which is half and around which countless stars manifesting their existence within the darkness. He sighed and repeated, 'Calm down Dylan. You cannot afford to act stupid.' He understands how these emotions can overwhelm him and make him feel guilty in the near future. He calmed himself.
