Dylan stepped out from the taxi. He unplugged his earphone and paid the driver. The taxi drove away and disappear soon from his sight. He has his heart heavy. Whenever he comes back to this place he felt burdened and almost crazy. He inhaled and exhaled slowly.
He moved before the gate and tap the ring button. In just few seconds the watchman opened the gate. Dylan moved in and the watchman bowed to show his respect calling him, "Young Master."
"En" He acknowledged him and walked in slowly. He looked all over and walked towards the big villa. The lights are on of all rooms. It seems everyone is up, and he has no will to stay here for a night. He wants to go back without entering. His whole-body exuding unwillingness.
But he went in eventually. He can't go back after entering the gate anyways. There are lots of guards looking at him even now. The whole villa is covered by these guards and soldiers. Even so, his looks can kill anyone who wants to stop him. He stepped inside the villa. The first thing same as before was the maid and they smiled at him. An emotionless and robotic smile though. He didn't bother to look at her and went inside.
It was death silent like no one is inside. But he knew there are people and sure enough four people are sitting on the sofa. His parents and his younger two siblings. They have a guy bowed down before them and he seemed to be captured as there are various injuries. Dylan slowly pursed his lips, but he let it go fast and looked at his so-called parents.
They look up at him. His mother's gaze brightened just like his fathers. They were expecting him. His mother smiled and said, "Sit down." His father nodding. Of course, they aren't smiling because they saw their son, but the fixer came to fix the situation for them. He went ahead and set down at the single person sofa. Farthest to all four of them. He looked at the sight before him. The man has bowed, and he is bleeding too much. Since when was he here? Dylan has no idea about it. He glanced at his parents for a description about the situation they have here.
His mother said with a deep breath, "This man has provided the data of our group. If we don't do anything now the company will collapse soon." She has her eyes cold and frowning.
"And" Asked Dylan slowly.
His father shouted, "What is more needed to worsen the situation now?" Glaring at Dylan, "Fix this situation. We have no time to take care of this thing now. I will go back to my study."
Dylan sat there emotionless, and his father left without any more words. His mother looked at him with a helpless frown. Like a small girl. Dylan did wish if she were really like a little girl. Innocently dealing with her child with all love and care. But sadly, she isn't. The marks on the person's body are whipped marks that his father will not do. His mother has this collection of whips. Apart from her no one can do it. A heartless person.
He looked at the two younger siblings. Both trembling from top to down. Dylan than again looked at the guy who will soon die at this rate. He waved his hands and the maid. She came behind him. He ordered, "Treat him."
"What?!" His mother rolled her eyes in disbelief. But Dylan said instead, "Tell me what actually happened in detail about the information and other stuff." The maid took the man away with others help. Dylan really has no intention to hear her blabbering. Even though unwilling to his orders she began her story. He listened to her words languidly. Her story though half was made by herself. The guy transferred the files to the other company, and he was inside father's office she said. But why would he be here when all information is in the company headquarters. She always had in urge to beat people. seems like this guy got unlucky.
"You cannot kill people. Even if you were to loss all the glory and possession. Do you hear me mother." He looked at his mom. She looked away without agreeing to his words. Dylan always disagreed with their actions. She and his father acts like they are God, and they have all power to act however they want if others cannot see them. He hates this. He hates their guts.
His gaze landed on his two younger brothers. They are trembling and fear is evident in their eyes. The sweat on their forehead and their clenched fist. Dylan saw his own past self in them. He used to wish if only someone can drag him away from there and hug him till, he cannot remember anything.
He said to his mother, "The information isn't big. Update these to the police. The company has no link with any illegal dealings so there is nothing to fear. Leave the guy somewhere and everything will go on smoothly. The people who got the information will also not keep it since they will find nothing against you." Dylan looked at his mother coldly, "Don't make a fuss like this ever again. I'm studying. I have no time to ran like a dog whenever you want me to."
His mother opened his mouth to refute but saw Dylan extremely displeased. Thus she stayed silent. He is her second eldest son who she cannot afford to go against. He is very important for both her political and business career. Dylan can see what she is thinking. He used to tell her that these things are all because she is his mother, that he worries about her. She never changed and he gave up after noticing her actions. He didn't put his words wasting on her again.
Dylan said, "I heard there is a good boarding school in city Valecrest. As I see these two has also reached their secondary school, I feel like they should be admitted to that school." After he done saying these, he noticed his brother's eyes sparkling. His heart softened. They are still small after all.
