Cassian arrived at his room and Dylan was sleeping peacefully. His movements slowed and he even without noticing tiptoed to his table and than went in the bathroom to freshen up.
Cassian slowly stepped out from the bathroom. He is feeling relax after taking a nerve calming bath. Just after he came out he saw Dylan awake. He asked in a moderate tone, "you awake?"
"Umm, just now. I feel heavy." He pressed his temples to release the feeling of heaviness that has drawn him. Although he isn't very tired but he felt very uncomfortable. Even though he knew why is this happening, he subsconsciouly told Cassian about his discomfort.
He sighed internally, finding himself a little dissorted, but his head suddenly touched by a cold hand. They rubbed his temples slowly. In a very experienced manner. Cassian has a little frown on his face but Dylan look closely and could see there is no annoyance, or reluctance. It's all filled with fonvern. Maybe the person in question didn't realise it yet, but his expression is very soft.
Finding Dylan's piercing gaze Cassian coughed and said slowly retracting his hands,"Drink some water and don't skip your sleep like this from now on. If not this will turn problematic."
Dylan noticed his actions and awkwardndss. He didn't pressed this matter further, since Cassian seems to be not comfortable so he will not make things difficult for him. Moreover, he has not idea why he was reading his mind.
Finding everything very perplexing, Dylan opened his mouth, "Thanks for everything. I was careless."
Cassian replied in a flash, "Nevermind. Everyone has moment like these."
Thinking about his absence these days, Dylan said, "I have to talk with the teacher and about the classes of these past three days." He missed the important lessons.
By his classes, didn't Karl asked about him. Even those girls did too. Cassian as a person who never feels good not telling the things that should be told was now in dilemma. He pursed his lips slightly as he eventually decided to say, "Umm, oh yeah, your previous roommate Karl was asking about your arrival. Along with him few girls also approached me for you for notes they said."
"Eh?" Dylan felt he heard something wrong. His brows raised. Evidently he is confused of what Cassian was saying. Before this he was never out of the college and never heard from anyone searching for him.
Cassian nodded at his reaction and explained, "Yeah, one was asking if I can take her to our room and she will see which notes hse needs. I rejected her in case if she ain't good."
Although Cassian doesn't mind telling him these girls had very weird habit of wearing small cloths. He forced himself to stay shut, in case Dylan will feel discomfort. Cassian doesn't want any kind of awkwardness between them. For some unknown reasons he felt very uncomfortable with the mere thought of talking with him about those girls. These are common between guys. Yet here he cannot bring himself to tell Dylan anything.
It is because they are both quite type and they haven't entered each other's best friend zone yet. That's right. Cassian thought this and didn't continued with weird connection between words.
Dylan frowned, why would these people ask about him? Are they after him or after Cassian in actually? He don't mind if it's him but if they were all after Cassian to have a connection with him instead, Dylan feel his heart turn heavy with that thought.
He took a deep breath as if frustrated but he said to him, "Thanks. It must be hard for you these past few days."
Cassian waved his hands indicating it was nothing. He then dried his hair. Moving the hairdryer over his soft saffron hair Dylan noticed how well the unusual color suits him. No one will look like that if anyone else had his beautiful saffron hair.
Dylan unknowingly asked, "You hair color, is very beautiful."
Cassian's hands paused in the mid air. His body turned stiff. His eyes exposing a confused yet shocked expression. He didn't dare to look back but said with humour, "What beautiful, this makes me look like sun and pumpkin too."
He doesn't like his hair to the slightest. Dylan also noticed his always hiding his hair whenever he goes out. He will always have them covered up to the extreme. It is also understandable why he does that. Cassian doesn't want to stand out and attract unnecessarily attention. Having such unique haircolor will surely provoke discussion about him and he won't have any peaceful moment under others constant scrutiny.
But at the other thought Dylan felt good that he covers them up. Only he can see him like this. Without any headwear. He understands that the color is unique that's why he doesn't like it. But they are in Dylan's opinion very very cool. His hair is the most attractive thing to him.
Having received his sarcasm Dylan asked, "You don't like them, so why not color them?"
Although Dylan liked his haircolor of Cassian isn't comfortable than he should change them. However he heard something unexpected.
"Anaphylaxis is the problem." His voice was slightly low. Dylan didn't asked anything else. But his heart was a little ache. He shift his body to the other side uncomfortablly.
Cassian was not disheartened though, "Yet, I also don't hate my hair. I just don't like it having people's strange look."
Why bother with such a small thing? But if that small thing is impacting ones life it has to be changed. However Cassian has no way to do so. He can just hide it. Always. Forever.
Thinking Cassian hiding them away forever, Dylan felt more stuffy. His voice hoarse as he said, "You will go down for dinner right?"
Hearing his question, Cassian hummed and said, "I will bring them here and we shall eat together."
"Yes." Dylan smiled at his reply. He felt very fulfilled.
