One can notice how famous this college is, but its reason is not just because of Science students. It is also because of the great contribution is the arts and business students. They maintain the college in other areas except science. Cassian and Dylan walked towards each club and there were not many that attracted them. They decided to go separately.
The two men manage their time after every class and went to check each club. About the club, they listened to several explanation of what they do and what the club member has to do. There were various clubs like, academics and professional club, cultural and international club, arts and creative clubs, sports and recreational club, community service and outreach club... The list never ending, and it has sub clubs from which people chooses one or more.
Dylan has no idea which he should choose. He looked at other people and saw them enthusiastically picking up several clubs. He bit his lips finding himself alone in them. His gaze turns gloomy. It's his third period and he still have thirty minutes for the next class. When he was so tired to even walk and look, he felt a soft touch on his shoulder. He glanced up. It is Cassian.
"Hey, did you selected which club you will join?" He looked at him with a turned and pitiful indifferent face. Seeing him Dylan sighed and shook his head. This made Cassian said, "You don't like to join any you don't want to join?"
Dylan slipped his slipping down stripes up and said, "I don't know." He is walking here and there listening and knowing but he didn't think about any wants and likes. All he wants is a club that will not sponge his time. A normal club. But there isn't a single one here.
Dylan asked Cassian, "You found one?" Hearing him Cassian pursed his lips but replied, "I want to join Sports club but unfortunately I can't, so I decided to join the book club."
Dylan's eyes widened, "Where is this club?" His voice surprised and Cassian was in turn surprised that Dylan doesn't know this.
He asked subconsciously, "You didn't know about this club?" He regretted after asking though. Yet Dylan didn't mind him and answered simply, "I didn't saw book club on the noticed board and even the people here aren't talking about it."
Dylan always stays inside his room and barely goes at other places, so it is natural for him to not know this. Cassian also agreed that if Dylan were a guy who roams like Karl than the temperament would be definitely different. He nodded and decided to share more information, "There are Chess club, fitness and running club, gaming club, photography club, movie club, language club, entrepreneurship club, and also tech and innovation club." He added, "All these clubs take lesser time them any other club. Since I have to focus on my studies the most, I decided to join Book club."
Dylan said, "Take me to this club too." He will listen to their words and think about it. He looked at Cassian and asked, "Which side? Let's go." Cassian nodded and took him to the club he visited a while ago. When he approached the area, the noise became less and less till they could only hear their own steps. Cassian felt his mind and heart calmed down. He doesn't like noise. Dylan also exhaled deeply. He was super irritated at that atmosphere.
When they arrived at the room there was only three people. One boy and two girls. Cassian went inside and Dylan followed behind him. He asked to the boy who was looking down at the books intently, "Hello, can we get an introduction of your club."
The guy looked at them. He has glasses on and just by looking at the lens one can say how much power it has. He squinted his eyes even with his glasses on. Slowly asking, "You are Dylan Reid, right?"
Hearing his words the other two bookish girls looked back from the bookshelves. The one girl also has glasses and other one hasn't. They had their eyes widened. Cassian knew from the glance of them that they will take some time. He cannot help but say in his heart, 'well who told you to be so famous?'. But he didn't say anything outside and instead asked, "He is. So, mind giving the introduction?"
After having his words, the three people also tried their best to calm their heart and started to give the introduction. The two girls are slightly chubby and the boy stick like. Girls were a little more enthusiastic, but Dylan and Cassian didn't have any emotion to them. Dylan when everything was finished saying asked again for confirmation, "The book clubs will meet once in the month only right?"
The three people nodded and the two almost dropped their glasses. Seeing this Cassian felt a little funny. He looked away before he burst out laughing. Dylan asked few more questions. He filled his form, submitted and left with Cassian. It was finished in ten minutes. They still have twenty minutes. While walking Dylan said, "Thanks."
Cassian waved his hands as this was nothing. Dylan has his voice gentle, "I'm really thankful. i had no idea about these clubs."
Cassian asked him still hard to understand, "Which club did you joined before?" He has already spent a year here more than him. So, it is surprising that he has no knowledge regarding this. Dylan sighed and replied, "My roommate took me forcefully to join the science and sport clubs."
This is a new thing. Cassian asked, "You didn't resist?" Dylan nodded, "Well he was too naughty. Never listening to anyone. I had no energy to deal with him."
"Who was he that it made your life so heard?" Cassian raised his brows questioning out of curiosity. Dylan also didn't mind and told him, "It was Karl." He then closed his eyes. That years was seriously unbearable.
