After that incident, Emyr didn't come to meet me, when he was alone. Whenever he came he came with Valmos.
But the same incident happened with Valmos too.
The usual trio was present and I don't remember what I offered him but he let me study his new magic. And this time Emyr also helped me convince him.
He said that he also helped me so why shouldn't Valmos help a friend…
Anyway,
Valmos passed out in that experiment.
Vampires are supposed to have regeneration but I was disappointed by his regeneration speed as he passed out.

After years we were living in peace and harmony and were planning to attack the demons.
Until we heard the demon king have ascended Tier 14.
And it stopped our plans to live as we are. Because the leaders were sh*tting their pants after they heard it. Because the most powerful in the alliance was tier 12.
So we decided to live in peace.
Until,
A hero was summoned in one of the human countries. The first hero. We thought that it was good news because the goddess would have sent a competent and a good guy, who could kill the demon.
But here is the thing we were wrong that guy didn't attack the demon first. He attacked the alliance to farm level and then killed the demon king.
But humans, being weak and only him being strong was enough. (He was at Tier 9.)
So a duty was given to us by our respected kings to kill that man.
And to make the 'duty' more interesting. Valmos, I and Emyr, betted who will kill him.
And to my disappointment, Valmos emerged victorious.
But one thing was good in this war, we all became tier 9. After, you know… level up.

Then, years later.
A hero was summoned again. The second hero. She was different from the first hero. Instead of attacking every race. She sought to ally every possible race to confront the demons.
And we all wished for her to end that tyrant reign. Alas, we wished to soon because the demon king was at a completely different level at Tier 14. He swiftly defeated her, decimating her, she didn't even stand a chance against him.
We all withdrew like cowards. And hoped the demon king didn't attack us.
And he didn't.

One thing happened in the war that was us reaching Tier 11-12. And then we challenged our kings.
Defeated them.
And became the kings and the progenitors of our race.
Progenitors were beings at a different level. If they die no newborn can take a birth. They can create people of different races on their own. Don't have the weakness that a normal person of a race has, etc. They are broken beings.

Then years later.
The demon king finally began to show his move.
His army attacked the alliance. The alliance that the second hero created.
We did everything we could do to survive this wave. We barely won because the demon king didn't participate, his generals did, who were at tier 11-12 which is the same as us.
We won to those generals because of our progenitor's status otherwise if we were normal we would have died. And if the demon king personally attacked we would have all died.
And in this wave, our prowess reached the demi-god level (Tier 13). And our domain was created.
It is a personal space made out of magic, emotions, past, and deepest desires. It is like a DNA literally made just for your personal use. (more will be covered later.)
Anyway,
After the wave, another hero was teleported in the human country. His name was Chris, and he was unique. He had two goals: to defeat the demon king and second was find his brother.
He was the fastest being in this world to achieve the level of demigod.
And his arrival and his feats caused a turning point for the residents of this world. His quest to save and find his brother caused him to ally with all races. Then he made our trio into a quadra by entering our friend circle.
He told us his story, of his mother, his brother, his meeting with the goddess, his decision, and how he was not teleported together with him.
We assumed that only Chris was meant to be transported and as he was together with him at the time of teleportation, they both teleported together.
We also helped in the search but only came to a solution that he died.
Chris being Chris said, "He won't die from something like this."
Optimistic.
But he has to face the reality.

After that, a meeting was held between the demons and the alliance. There were 2 reasons for this meeting, first, the demon king wanted to tell us something. Second, Chris wanted to ask the demon king if his brother was in the demon kingdom (only the demon kingdom was left for the search).
And these two reasons were enough for an alliance between the demons and us.
During the meeting, we discovered a truth about the Demon King and the goddess, that shocked us.
The demon king said, "My level… is 141. It didn't increase no matter what I did. It is as if like an unmountable wall that I cannot climb. But… I reached level 142… and it unknowingly regressed to level 141. I tried to increase my level again and succeeded but again it regressed to 141. Then I learned the truth, the system isn't a universal entity, it is not the same system that the goddess used to achieve her god-hood. It is something that she made. That makes every being living in Arcanium under her influence."
Hearing that we shuddered, we wanted to deny words and call all this a deceit, but we didn't have enough or any information about this. We wanted to ask many questions from him but he didn't give us a chance at all and the demon king continued.
"I have a theory that a god is the sole ruler of a planet and if another god is born from the same planet either they have to fight to death till one remains and rules or they share the planet between them. And as the goddess is more active since I became a demigod, that is to kill me, I am sure that I am right."
After this a long discussion happened and after that discussion, the hero asked the demon king.
"Do you know about a human, who was teleported in the demon realm?"
"There is no foolish human who will do that… But I will look into it for you. Tell me his characteristics and the time he was teleported." He replied.
"Looks the same as me, just 3-4 years older than me, and he was teleported at the same time as me… when I became the hero"
We wanted to stop Chris from doing this… But after seeing the look on his face we stopped.
After hearing what Chirs has to say the demon king replies, "Same time as you… It is impossible. No human was in this demon kingdom."
"How can you be so sure?" Chirs asked.
"The summoning of a hero isn't like giving a candy to a child. When a hero is summoned the whole sky color changes to golden, the winds pass like a gentle breeze, all the natural calamities stop, and if the farmer wants rain, he will get it. And now, whenever a hero is summoned I isolate the demon kingdom from the rest of the world. No one can enter or leave and all the forces including me go on high alert. Even if a dog barks it is reported to me."
He continued, "Now tell me, if a human is teleported here, what will be the initial thought of anyone in the demon realm, 'that a hero was teleported here.' So, tell me do you think my subordinates are this incompetent that they wouldn't report to me an important detail or my senses are so bad that I cannot sense teleportation happening in my kingdom?"
Everyone felt silent after hearing that.

Then a ridiculous proposal was given, which was to betray the goddess and attack her.
We were blinded by the proof of the demon king and wanted to escape the goddess's influence, and Chris was convinced by the demon king to get the location of his brother from the goddess herself. Agreed to the idea.
And then we all prepared to teleport to her realm. These included me, Chris, Valmos, Emyr, and the demon king.
We were included because we were the only demigods in the plane and we didn't want to increase casualties by taking weaker forces with us.
But as we were going to teleport a golden light blinding us all took Chris at the last moment. And the rest of us were teleported to the goddess's realm...
