Chapter 46 - Checkmate, my monkey.

With a beaming grin, Anvika exclaimed, "Checkmate, my monkey."

Everyone in the room gasped and turned to stare in horror at Anvika while also glancing at the chess board.

With a clear view of the board, Nivik believed for a considerable amount of time that he was really blocked by every side and that there was no chance to escape anvika move.

He questioned, "Where did you learn this?" glancing at Anvika.

" I just tried it out."

Since he was a little boy, Nivik has been a fantastic chess player; nobody has ever been able to beat him. However, this was the initial occasion that Nivik has lost a game.

As Advik walked into the room, he witnessed that Nivik had forfeited the game with Anvika and was filled with pride for Anvika.

Nivik responded, "Don't mislead to me, Anvika. Tell me exactly how you learned it." right now.

Neena interrupted, saying, "Brother, you need to complete your bowl of soup first given that you lost the game."

Nivik received the dowel from Anvika right away, and she said, "Finished it."

With helplessness, Nivik stared at the bowl of soup, knowing that Neena and Anvika wouldn't get out of him unless he finished it.

When Neena saw that the soup was cold, she remarked, "Let me heat it and bring it back."

Nivik answered, "No need," right away.

He picked up the dish and consumed the soup all at one go .

Nivik devised a strategy to avoid drinking the soup since he didn't enjoy it very much, but he was infatuated with Anvika. He completed the dowl in one sitting since it would take him longer to finish if Neena brought the soup to a boil.

When he had finished the soup, he handed Anvika the empty spoon and said Irritated, "are you happy now?"

He maintained the visual appeal of an individual who had consumed something repulsive.

With a radiant grin, Anvika said, "Yeah, I am."

Nivik said, "Now tell me when did you learn it."

"To tell the truth, I just tried it."

Anvika really tried that, and her action proved to be effective.

"Let's play one more game" . Nivik said.

Anvika grinned evilly and replied, "I will definitely go with that if you are ready to take another bowl of soup."

"Forgot it "

Nivik intended to defeat Anvika and prove to her that he was only trying his luck, but he quickly backed down and told her to forget it after remembering the soup he had consumed.

Putting her hand on Anvika's shoulder area, Levi stepped forward and said, "Only you in this world can defeat this idiot."

Nivik sent Levi a glare, and when Levi saw the expression of rage on Nivik's face, he instantly closed his lips.

"Once all of you were finished" , Advik asked as he entered the room, "Shall we start the the course?"

The guy entered the room and was regarded by everybody.

Advik looks quite different in his everyday attire.Advik looked quite different today, having traded his usual athletic attire for something more formal. He wore a crisp white shirt that clung perfectly to his sculpted eight-pack torso, showcasing his impressive physique. The shirt was tucked neatly into cream-colored pants that highlighted his lean, muscular legs. Every movement he made accentuated his robust, well-defined build, giving the impression of a man who was both strong and graceful.

The subtle shades of gray and black in his outfit added a sophisticated touch, contrasting with the lighter tones of his shirt and pants. His attire was meticulously chosen, making him look effortlessly elegant and powerful. Even in the simplicity of his clothes, his athletic frame was evident, exuding a sense of strength and confidence.

"Are you all done here?" Advik asked, a playful smile dancing on his lips. "If so, we can continue with the piano classes."

He was regarded with admiration by everybody.

"I'm sure every female would kill to be your friend if they spotted you dressed like this, brother. You look amazing in this attire". Neena said.

Anvika, still basking in the glow of her chess victory, looked up and couldn't help but admire Advik's appearance. His presence was magnetic, drawing the attention of everyone in the room. Even Levi and Daksh, who had been preoccupied with the chess game, glanced up and exchanged appreciative looks.

Right away, Levi and Daksh said, "Wow, brother, you have a great body."

While everyone was staring at Advik, Nivik was staring at Anvika. Anvika was enthralled by Advik as well. Nivik felt a bit apprehensive when he saw Anvika staring at his brother that way.

Anvika thought he was really handsome and that his usual attire was unusual, and she recalled what she had spoken to him the previous evening.

...

Suddenly, Anvika questioned Advik, "Do you like the colors black and gray?" and "Why do you always prefer to wear black and gray?"

Asking, "Why, don't you like them?" Advik turned to face Anvika.

" No, that's not what I mean; you look fantastic in this ensemble; I was simply curious about the colors you like. "

" What kind of clothing do you think would look best on me?", questioned Advik about the Anvika choice.

Anvika is at a loss for words since she had no business asking him about his attire when everyone was free to choose what they wanted to wear. She questioned him simply because she was used to seeing him in those brightly colored outfits.

She said, "You look great in whatever you wear," right away.

Advik is aware that Anvika and Nivik will always argue about clothes, and Anvika enjoys selecting Nivik's outfits for him. Nivik, on the other hand, enjoys choosing the clothes that Anvika chooses for him.

With a grin, Advik added, "You'll figure it out later."

Advik's words were lost on Anvika. What was intended by the statement? Her thoughts about it didn't linger too long.

Anvika quickly recalled what he said that lovely night when she met him today. 'Has his style changed since I mentioned that? I believe I am overanalyzing why he would alter his attire as a result of me'. It was something Anvika hardly considered.
