Chereads / Love in Silence: Falling for My Best Friend / Chapter 50 - terrible sound.

Chapter 50 - terrible sound.

" Yes, please come over". Neena is assisted by Anvika in pressing the piano keys.

Neena positioned her fingers over the keys and began to play, but the result was far from melodious. The notes clashed discordantly, creating a cacophony of terrible sounds.

Neena performed it incorrectly, and it made a terrible sound.

All the people in the hallway instinctively covered their earlobes due to the awful music, to shield themselves from the awful music. Nivik winced, Advik grimaced, and even Anvika couldn't suppress a giggle at the dreadful noise

Levi exclaimed, covering his earlobes, "Ho my mercy, what are you engaging, it is horrific."

" Yes", daksh said, " halt immediately".

Neena, unfazed, quickly defended herself. " You're ignorant; I handled it well; the keys weren't broken, not me". she protested, adamantly refusing to admit any fault of her own. This was typical Neena—always acting like a spoiled kid, never willing to acknowledge her mistakes.

"I was pleased when Anvika performed it" . Levi then questioned " how the keys could be incorrect when you played".

" You people know how amazing I am at playing musical instruments, so why are you questioning me?", Neena yelled at them.

Daksh added, "All of us are your childhood pals who will have knowledge more than either of us regarding you."

Neena remarked, "Just a moment I'm going to demonstrate you guys just how talented I am. I'm going to perform another one."

All of the lads in the hallway yelled "no" at once.

Neena made a cutesy expression and was on the verge of tears. "Why are you people restraining me?"

Neena always acts like a spoilt child who has received everything.

Levi and Daksh exchanged amused glances. "Sure, Neena," Levi said, unable to keep the laughter out of his voice. "It's definitely the piano's fault."

Daksh joined in, teasingly adding, "Maybe the piano just doesn't like you.it's going to need some serious repair after that," with a chuckle."

Neena, never one to back down from a playful challenge, narrowed her eyes at her brothers. "Oh, you two are going to get it now!" she declared.

With that, she leaped from the bench and began chasing Levi and Daksh around the room,

Levi and Daksh didn't need any further invitation. They laughed and took off down the hallway, with Neena hot on their heels. "Come back here!" she yelled, her voice filled with mock indignation as she chased after them, ready to playfully beat them for their teasing remarks.

her laughter ringing out as she playfully swatted at them. The two boys darted around furniture and ducked behind chairs, laughing as they tried to evade their sister's mock wrath.

The sight of Neena running after Levi and Daksh brought a smile to everyone's faces. Despite her spoiled nature, her energy and zest for life were infectious. As the sounds of their playful banter and footsteps faded down the hallway, a sense of warmth and camaraderie lingered in the room.

The hallway was filled with the sounds of their playful scuffle, the earlier discordant piano notes forgotten in the joy of the moment. Nivik, Advik, and Anvika watched the scene unfold, smiles tugging at their lips. Despite the chaos and the lingering tensions, it was moments like these that reminded them of the bond they shared, a bond that could withstand even the most terrible of piano performances.

Advik abruptly went into serious mode after receiving a call from his pal Henry. "For now, the lesson is ended. You people continue, and I have stuff to do. "

Anvika glanced at him and immediately understood. She knew how busy Advik's schedule was, and she felt a pang of guilt for asking him to teach the piano in the first place. He had made time for her despite his many commitments.

Advik is a hectic lad and a businessperson, so everyone let him walk without hesitation.

He saw Anvika before turning to exit the room. As Anvika spotted Advik staring at her, she reflected on it, "I believe he was busy with a job, so I suppose I ought to attend his lessons now, as he had promised to disclose the courses as I had begged. "

She answered, "Go on with your work; I'm going to educate them," right away.

Advik smiled at her, a mix of gratitude and reassurance in his eyes. "Take care, Anvika," he said gently before turning to leave. He had an important meeting with his friend Henry, and he couldn't afford to delay any longer.

When Nivik saw Advik's abrupt shift, he decided it would be best to speak with him later and wondered who had contacted him and why he had departed.

As he exited the room, Anvika watched him go, a sense of admiration mingled with sadness in her heart. She admired his dedication and felt lucky to have him as a friend, even if it meant seeing him less often.

With a deep breath, she turned to the others, ready to share what she had learned from Advik. "Alright, everyone," she began, trying to infuse her voice with enthusiasm, "let's get started."

Meanwhile, Advik walked briskly to his car, his mind already shifting gears to the task at hand. He had to meet Henry and discuss the bottle he'd found near the stairs. As he drove away, the image of Anvika's determined face lingered in his mind, giving him a momentary sense of peace amidst the chaos of his life.

Neena spotted his brother giving Anvika a troubled look and said, "Take care" . If he's concerned that she suffered an injury, Nivik is also injured. He could have spoken to both of them, but he just brought up Anvika and their relationship.

Determined to get to the bottom of it, Neena turned to Anvika, who was now trying to gather everyone's attention to continue the piano lesson. "Anvika, can I talk to you for a second?" Neena's tone was casual, but her eyes were probing.

Anvika looked up, slightly confused but obliging. "Sure, Neena. What's up?"

Neena questioned Anvika, "Are you hiding anything from us?" .

Anvika didn't understand her point of view. "What?" she thought, perplexed.

Neena did not conceal herself; "is there a relationship between you and Advik brother?"
