Chapter 49 - marry you?

After the final notes of the melody faded, Neena made a beeline for her brother., "Wow, brother, that was really excellent melody." She personally like the rhythm that they had picked.

"Please assist me in playing this pitch so that I can play it."

Neena hurried up to Advik right away and said, "Brother, I want to play that tune."

"We wish to participate in that", shouted Levi and Daksh as soon as they ran up to him.

"What's that song called?" Neena said, recollecting the song that Advik had assisted Anvika in playing.

Advik really assisted Anvika in playing the Norman Duck song "Marry You."

Nivik is aware of the song that his brother performed. He wondered to himself," Is this the tune marry you? "

Advik is assisting Anvika in using the piano keys while repositioning himself behind her and holding her palms.

Given how close Advik is to her, Anvika didn't give a damn, showing merely a passing interest in playing the piano.

'Is Advik brother like Anvika? Why do his actions indicate that he likes Anvika?' Nivik asked himself.

Advik smiled, his eyes flicking to Nivik, who stood silently at the doorway. Nivik's mind was racing as he pieced together the melody. Was that the song "Marry You"? The idea struck him, leaving him with a mix of curiosity and unease.

Nivik was staring at them from his bedroom doorway when Anvika abruptly interrupted him.

With joy, she remarked, "Nivik, you stepped out. Did you hear the music I was playing right now? Did you like it?"

Nivik forced a smile, pushing aside the multitude of questions swirling in his mind. "You did great,Indeed, it was very pleasant" he replied, his tone genuine despite the turmoil within him.

As Neena, Levi, and Daksh continued to bombard Advik and Anvika with questions about the song, Nivik remained in the doorway, deep in thought. He couldn't shake the feeling that there was something more between Advik and Anvika, something that went beyond the music they had just played.

He resolved to ask Advik about it later, to get to the bottom of his suspicions. For now, he watched as his friends and siblings laughed and talked, their voices blending into the background as his mind churned with unanswered questions.

Without delay, Anvika sprang up from her chair and said, "Let me assist you."

Without further ado,Advik forced her to recline in her chair, tapped her lightly on the forehead, and with a playful smile , "You idiot, you are additionally crippled which means you won't be able to assist him. I am going to assist him. You merely repeat the tune."

Anvika maintained a puppy-like expression, glanced down at her leg, a sheepish smile playing on her lips. She rubbed the spot where Advik had tapped her, feeling the faint sting of his playful reprimand. "Okay, okay," she conceded with a weird smile. while massaging the spot where Advik had hit her.

Advik turned his attention to Nivik. "I'll help you," he offered, his voice filled with concern.

But Nivik, determined and stubborn as ever, shook his head. "I'm fine," he insisted, his tone leaving no room for argument.

In reality, Nivik disliked Anvika for being so close to his brother.

Nivik answered, "I can handle myself, brother," right away. He hopped forward, kangaroo-style, on one leg and plopped down on the couch before Advik took another step.

He moved forward in a kangaroo-like hop, trying to navigate the room with his broken leg. Each movement was deliberate, his face set in a mask of concentration as he balanced on his good leg and swung the injured one forward. The effort it took was evident in the way his brow furrowed and his breath came in controlled, steady exhalations. Despite the pain and the awkwardness of his movements, Nivik pressed on, determined not to show any weakness.

The room fell silent as everyone watched him. Anvika's eyes followed his every move, concern etched into her features. Advik stood ready to intervene if needed, but he respected Nivik's resolve. Even Neena, Levi, and Daksh paused their chatter, momentarily taken aback by Nivik's determination.

Nivik finally reached the piano, gripping its edge for support. He glanced up, meeting Anvika's gaze. "See? I'm fine," he said, though his voice wavered slightly, betraying the effort it had taken.

Anvika couldn't help but smile at his stubbornness. "You're something else, Nivik," she said softly.

Nivik gave a small, strained smile in return. Inside, he felt a surge of relief. Despite his injuries and the complex emotions swirling within him, he had made it. And in that moment, surrounded by his friends and siblings, he felt a flicker of pride. But beneath it all, the questions and uncertainties about Advik and Anvika continued to simmer, waiting for the right moment to surface.

Neena saw that Advik and Anvika were quite near to one another; she had never seen them so close prior. Additionally, she never witnessed her brother courting other females or showing favoritism to others; instead, Advik's behavior with Anvika was quite different.

"Could you repeat the track that you are playing now, Anvika? ",Levi and Daksh requested.

" Yes, I can" , Anvika hesitantly said.

Anvika picks things up quickly and has a lot of interest in the things she likes.

Anvika performed the song again right away, copying the identical melody word for word on the piano.

Advik was quite pleased with her; "you really did play it well."

Neena stepped forward and asked, "sweetie,, lend a hand me play that even."
