Chapter 48 - complex emotions

Advik accompanied the girls back to the hall, helplessly.

As soon as Advik started playing the piano, Levi and Daksh were gathered around it, anticipating his arrival.

Daksh inquired excitedly, "Brother, how are you supposed to guide us?"

Advik questioned, "Do you guys have any knowledge of musical machines?" as he was examining them.

Right away, Levi and Daksh respond, "No, brother, this is our first time."

Neena said right away, "I only know the basics; Anvika is good at few."

Advik inhaled deeply before advising, "Since this is your first lesson, just familiarize yourself with the piano's keys."

While Levi and Daksh lacked musical expertise, Neena did, having grown up seeing her brother play an instrument at home and having previously learned a few important terms from Anvika.

Advik added, "I think you know them well right," glancing at Neena.

" Indeed", Neena responded with pride, "I knew them, brother."

"Fantastic, my adorable sister. Since Levi and Daksh lack knowledge them, you merely need to teach them the basics. Nobody can instruct them as well as you can, and you can do it with ease". Advik said.

Neena believed she was a fantastic teacher since she had tremendous knowledge in them and Advik's compliments confirmed this. She smiled at Levi and Daksh and said, "Come on, I'll teach you my kids."

After exchanging glances, Levi and Daksh followed Neena. Neena led them over to the couch where she began to teach them the piano keys.

Advik saw Neena and the others, and a filthy grin came to his lips.

He approached Anvika gradually and said, "I believe you are familiar with the key words and that you are a proficient pianist."

" Yes", Anvika replied, she could play it, but not flawlessly.

"I will demonstrate you how to play it since I am aware of that. Come on". Advik extended his hand to grasp Anvika's hand.

She turned to face her companion, who was deep in conversation. Seeing that she was aware of the piano's keys, she decided it would be best to join Advik instead of them.

She pondered in her head. 'If I join Advik and finish my lesson quickly, I will be equipped with more time to devote to with Nivik. Neena will return to the Advik class after presenting the piano keys, and Advik will then teach them. This will give me more time to spend with Nivik.'

When she remembered spending time with Nivik, she smiled brightly and felt joyful. Advik received her hand right away.

When Advik saw her grin, he was pleased. 'I am aware that you want some alone time with me, Anvika.'

Actually, Advik used deception to get Neena to go so he could spend more time with Anvika. It was like a spoonful of water for him to deal with his own sister, after all, he was a businessman and knew how to handle clients.

As they made their way to the piano, the room seemed to buzz with a renewed energy. Advik's presence had a way of lifting everyone's spirits, making the mundane feel special. His combination of physical prowess and sartorial elegance made him a figure of admiration and respect.

Advik sat at the piano, his movements smooth and confident. "Alright, Anvika, let's pick up where we left off. Ready?"

Advik led Anvika over to the piano stool and forced her to take a seat. Later, he moved to stand behind her, grabbed her hands, and assisted her in pressing the piano keys.

her heart still racing a bit from their earlier game and now from the close proximity to Advik. "Ready," she said, determination and excitement mixing in her voice.

As Advik guided her through the piano lessons, his focus and patience were as evident as his physical attributes. He moved with ease, his strong hands gliding over the keys with a grace that belied his muscular build. It was a testament to his versatility and skill, both as an athlete and a musician.

The rest of the room watched with a mixture of awe and amusement, appreciating the unique dynamic between Anvika and Advik. It was clear that their bond, like the one between Nivik and Anvika, was built on mutual respect and a deep, unspoken understanding.

For Advik, teaching Anvika wasn't just about imparting musical knowledge. It was about sharing a moment, creating a connection that went beyond the notes and keys. And in that moment, surrounded by friends and family, it felt like they were all part of something special, something that transcended the ordinary and touched the very essence of their hearts.

Both of them performed straightforward music that filled the room with a melodic tone.

....

Nivik, lying in his bed, felt an increasing restlessness. The strains of the piano drifted through the house, pulling him from his thoughts. Unable to stay alone any longer, he forced himself out of bed, each step a painful reminder of his injury. Determined, he made his way down the hall, the melody growing louder with each step.

When he reached the piano room, he stopped in his tracks, his eyes widening in shock. There, at the piano, was Anvika, her hands moving gracefully over the keys, guided by Advik. They were close, too close, their bodies almost touching as Advik leaned in to instruct her. The sight sent a jolt through Nivik, a mix of emotions he couldn't quite place.

Advik's focus was entirely on Anvika, his hands enveloping hers as they pressed the keys in perfect synchrony. The music they created was beautiful, a testament to their growing connection. Anvika seemed lost in the music, her face serene, a small smile playing at her lips.

Nivik felt a pang of something sharp and unfamiliar. It wasn't just jealousy; it was a deep, unsettling realization of how much Anvika meant to him, and how seeing her with his brother brought those feelings to the surface.

He leaned against the doorframe, watching them, his heart heavy. He couldn't tear his eyes away from the scene before him-the way Anvika's face lit up with each note, the way Advik's focus never wavered from her.

As the melody continued to flow, Nivik felt a mix of admiration and heartache. He admired his brother's talent and his ability to connect with Anvika through music, but it hurt to see the bond they were forming, a bond that seemed to leave him on the outside looking in.

For a moment, he considered interrupting, but something held him back. He didn't want to break the spell of the music or disrupt the moment. Instead, he stood there, silent and unnoticed, grappling with the complex emotions swirling within him, the beautiful melody filling the room and echoing in his heart.
