Chapter 4 - Chapter 4 Archeology Team

It's been 2 months since I got my company started with the help of Agatha and in that time I've raked in enough money to finally get started on my Archeology. The first thing I did during that time was buy a full team of 6 Pokemon to help me with being an Archeologist.

First I bought a Gible with the King gene and the Sand Veil ability it will become a heavy hitter once it's fully evolved. Secondly, I bought a Shinx with intimidate this is purely for its eyesight and electromagnetic sensing capabilities. The third Pokemon was a bedlam with the clear body ability, this was bought for its thinking and teleportation capabilities. The Fourth Pokemon was an Onix with the Sturdy ability I'm planning to give Devon Co a lump of Uru to make into a Metal Coat to evolve it as it will give it an around-the-board increase in stats not only physical but also special attack and defense. The fifth Pokemon I bought was a Rookidee with the Pressure ability this was mainly bought for movement purposes and its high defense for a flying type. The last Pokemon on my Archeology team is my starter Gengar.

Since then I have handed the Uru to Devon Co. and asked them for a custom Metal Coat which got them excited as they wanted to know where I got the Unknown metal from. Telling them I got it from the Silver Mountains got them off my back as it's a dangerous place, too dangerous to mine. But it also got me in trouble with Agatha as they reported it to her and I didn't have permission to be on the mountain due to its danger level.

In the month it took them to make the Metal Coat I decided to hold off on powering up my 5 new Pokemon instead I got to know them and decided to feed my new steel rock and ground types new metals from the mines to see if it would affect their evolutions. And with my Shinx I decided to play games with it to help it increase its vision, agility, and reaction speed.

As I got the Metal Coat today I decided to Max the 5 new pokeon that I had bought for my Archeology team. Calling them to me I started with my Gible over the past month due to its mineral-rich diet its colour has gotten darker and closer to black, and upon reaching its final evolution into a Garchomp it didn't disappoint. It was Jet black with blood-red accents along its blades similar to its mega form, its spikes were silvery with a light blue tint.

The second Pokemon I decided to evolve was my Bedlam before evolving it I collected 1 ton of Pronto-Adamantium (a gold alloy made of Vibranium, Adamantium, and Uru from the Marvel comics made by Dr Myron MacLain) and split it into 2 piles of 500kg for its 2 evolutionary stages. The material was absorbed while it was evolving giving me a gold Metagross with the parts that should have been silver, black, it also had various runes covering its body that seemed to shift and float around it.

The Third Pokemon I evolved was my Rookidee and I bought 500kg of Vibranium and Uru for each of its evolutionary stages. Similarly to my Metagross, the metal feathers were gold its body stayed black and the beak and feathers were blood red.

The Fourth Pokemon I evolved was my Shinx to evolve my Shinx I bought a ton of Naquadah (Stargate) and split it into 2 piles of 500 kg for its 2 evolutionary stages. The final evolution looked similar to the ordinary one but her teeth, claws, and the star on her tail looked like they were made out of diamonds.

Finally, I evolved my Onix with its unique Metal Coat and Scarletite (Final Fantasy XVI.) Steelix came out blood red with a golden glow with shifting runes similar to Metagross's, it also became a Steel/Fire type.

I also decided to Mega-Evolve my Starter, weirdly in this verse Mega-evolutions are permanent but still require both a bond with the Pokemon and keystone and mega stone. my Gengar came out looking like a regular Mega-Gengar before it dived back into my shadow.

With my Team ready I sent them back to their dens and told them to be at my house at 10 am tomorrow so we could set off. I'm planning to go to Grandpa Canyon as I remember in the anime that there were prehistoric Pokemon there that had survived from ancient times, and a research paper on that with the pokemon that I intend to send to Professor Oak once I get Agatha to introduce me to him for him to confirm my data should be enough for me to become an assistant professor.
