After waking up at 0800, completing my morning routine, and training with Lucario, it was already 10 am and my Archeology team are raring to go.
After returning them to their balls I hop onto Corviknight and had him fly towards Grandpa Canyon. On the flight, I messaged Agatha telling her that I might be out of contact for a few days as I am going to get started on my Archeology, and turned off my phone before she could reply.
Touching down in the Canyon I released my Luxray and asked her to use her electromagnetic sensing to sense the minerals in the ground and look for a void that is large enough for something to live in before releasing the rest of my Pokemon and told them to start looking for fossils.
After a few hours of fossil collection, Luxray called out to us. After making our way over to her I returned my Pokemon excluding Metagross and Garchomp I told Metagross to levitate us and Garchomp to use brick break on the ground causing it to cave in.
Metagross slowly lowed me into the cave I released my Pokemon giving Metagross 200 Pokeballs I sent it with Luxray and Mega-Gengar south telling them to catch all the Pokemon they come across while collecting any fossils and eggs they come across before I headed north with Corviknight, Garchomp, and Steelix.
While traveling North my group came across groups of Omanyte and Omastar, and finding the Togepi egg before I ran into the Aerodactyl that tried to eat Ash in the anime. A few well-placed Steel Wings made short work off it before Metagross contacted me saying that they'd reached the end of the cave system and asked if they could teleport to my location.
After a flash of pink light, I asked him to fill me in on what had happened on their side. It turns out that they ran into a herd of Kabuto and Kabutops which they had captured. As well as found a bunch of fossils not native to this continent.
Sitting down with my Pokemon to eat I decided to get started on the field report that I was going to submit to Agatha after this I also decided to buy some Tyrunt, Tyrantrum, Amaura, and Aurorus herds to embellish my article.
After a few hours of writing and having my Porygon-z proofread my work I sent it off to Agatha and got Metagross to teleport us home.
The next morning I got a message ordering me to meet her at the Indigo Plateau at lunchtime.
After teleporting to the Plateau and Speaking to the receptionist I saw Agatha.
"Brat what is wrong with you" She growled
"Ummm did I do something wrong?" I asked confused
"Kid you are in your first year as a trainer. Most kids your age go around collecting badges and trying out for the league. You've created a company, created patents and re-discovered Pokemon believed to be extinct for millions of years some of them not native to this continent. So yes you've done something wrong." She said exasperatedly
"Umm sorry?" I said still confused
"Kid I don't want an apology I want you to slow down and have some fun. Life is not all about money and clout." She said sounding tired
"Ohhh I see what's going on here. I didn't really want to be a gym trainer I wanted to be an archeologist. I made the company so that I would have a steady flow of income and rented the patents so that I could get enough money to get started on my archeology work. To me this is fun." I said excitedly
"(Sigh) As long as you're enjoying yourself. Any way I forwarded your field report to Samuel who seemed pretty excited about it and asked to meet you," she said tiredly before we were teleported over to Pallet town.
Agatha walked off towards what I'm assuming is the lab before letting herself in.
"Daisy" she called out
"Grandma Agatha" Screamed a childish voice and running could be heard.
Daisy ran out from one of the rooms and launched herself at Agatha.
"Grandma I missed you, you should come by more often," she said pouting
"Daisy, Grandma is busy most of the time and doesn't have time to come around. So when I do come round don't pout be happy that I'm here" She said with a small smile
"Now Daisy where's your Grandpa once I've introduced him to Kai here I can play with you"
Daisy just realizing that I was there ran off to find her grandpa.
"So grandma huh" I said grinning
"Shut it brat only Daisy can call me that" she growled
"I would never," I said with my hand over my heart.
"Ahh Agatha, and this must be the one who submitted the research paper," Said Professor Oak as he walked into the room.
"Samuel meet Kai, Kai meet Samuel. Introductions have been done now I'm going to see Daisy" she said before quickly walking off.
"Haaaa sorry about Agatha. She never had the best social skills." Said, Professor Oak.
"I'm from Lavender I know," I said smiling "It's a pleasure to meet you, Professor."
"The pleasures are all mine kiddo, now let's talk about the paper you submitted." He said
A few hours passed while we talked and we ended up writing a full research paper on it with me as the primary and Professor Oak as the Secondary, I was so excited. As a thank you I gave him a breeding pair of Kabuto and Omanyte and he promised to make me an assistant professor with my next research paper while I was leaving.
