It is a beautiful morning in Azurethra, the town and resining palace of Amanirenas, who is the elder sister to the great King of the Ptolemaic Kingdom, Masasinni Linette Duah II. All the villagers in this small but beautiful town are out for their daily activities. The men, together with their adolescent sons, go to the farm and take care of all necessary weeding and cultivation of all types of food needed in the house for their daily consumptions, while the women and their daughters stay back home to attend to all matters of house chores being it cleaning and cooking. This small town is the second largest in the Kingdom after the town that resides the residence of the great king. It is blessed with all kinds of earthly minerals but has one unique thing which distinguishes it from other towns in the kingdom, which includes the town of the king.
The people of Azurethra are the happiest and have always enjoyed this happiness since Amanirenas took over as their queen. Due to her dauntless heart and spirited soul, fear has never engulfed the heart of her people and peace has been their hallmark since her reign as queen. Almost everyone in the town knew each other and always checked on one another when anything unusual seem to have happened. Due to this sense of responsibility, they have always lived in harmony. But all these is about taking an unexpected turn without their notice.
The one thing that made Azurethra different and unique from other towns in the kingdom is the moon wings.
The moon wings are a group of fairies-like humans, who reside in the forest that surround Azurethra, and have always made sure their protection is always paramount. They do not ensure their protection only but made sure their minerals are well protected and duly exploited as it is supposed to be exploited.
These fairy-like creatures are the only reasons why the town has always known nothing but peace and harmony. As it stands, the only way to get the throne of the Ptolemaic Kingdom, is by defeating or killing of these creatures, get the town of Azurethra under capture, and there, you have the Ptolemaic Kingdom to yourself.
Many have tried to get ride of all these creatures since the rule of the queen mother, Yaa Asantewaa I. the queen mother was the ruler of Azurethra way before becoming the queen of the whole Kingdom. She served as queen of Azurethra for many years when her parent were serving as rulers of the kingdom, and she ascended as queen mother because her parent only had a daughter, which was her, and tradition had to accept the decision of making her queen, because a kingdom will seize to exist without a ruler, being it queen or king.
Yaa Asantewaa was one great queen who took nothing for granted and never let her guards down. She fought so many battles and lose none. She was eluded as the greatest queen the kingdom has ever had after her parent took their journey to the village of no return. To the land of their ancestors. She ruled eloquently with bravery, rock-ribbed mind and daredevil personality. She stored in the town of Azurethra peace, progress and transformation. Due to her incomparable personality and ruling ability, the people of Ptolemaic Kingdom were so well pleased to make her queen over them.
Amanirenas, who is the direct descendant of Yaa Asantewaa, took over her mother's bravery attitude and ruled her own people of Azurethra in the same respectable manner that her mother did, and that has always ensured the security of her town. But all these took an unexpected turn when the people from the Punt Kingdom committed an abomination on their land.
The Punk Kingdom have always been known as the aggressive, selfish and greedy kingdom among all five kingdoms. The Punt have always had the urge of ruling not only their kingdom but taking over all five kingdoms and making it theirs. Regardless of their selfish ambitions, the Ptolemaic Kingdom have been nothing but kind to them and their people. They are not as blessed in riches as Ptolemaic but have a unique mineral on their land that makes them different from all Kingdoms, Uranium.
Uranium has been the most valuable mineral in the kingdom, since it brings to them investors from the starting point of the world to the last end point of the world. They have enjoyed so many benefits and good from this mineral, but yet never satisfied due to their level of greed and selfishness. They hardly share their minerals to other kingdoms, unlike what Ptolemaic Kingdom does. They keep everything to themselves and only sell them to investors from farther Kingdom, yet the people of Ptolemaic have never despised or intend to take over their lands. They have always believed in equality and right to ownership and business.
As the sun rises on the valleys in Azurethra, there came a dark shadow of smoke covering the skies of the town and got the whole dwellers of the town in surprise. They all are wondering what must have caused this huge cloud of smoke above the land and they all began to tremble in fear. The smoky cloud has not reached the palace of Amanirenas, and she is having a good morning as always. Regardless of her ambitious nature, she has always loved her people and ensured a strong bonding relationship between them.
As the people wander in fear, there runs a group of people straight to her palace to report to their queen what has happened in the forest, where their guardian moon wings reside. The palace began to twitch as it is a news least expected to hear. They know their queen will do everything in her powers to ensure their safety and sanctity but will not be easy without their moon wings.
As the people run into the palace, they fell to their knees as the explained to the queen the situation at hand.
Amanirenas: What is the problem? Why do you run into the palace in this manner this early morning.
1st Person: My queen, we are sorry to intrude into the palace in this manner. We plea for pardon if we have ruined the queen's morning.
Amanirenas: I know you would not intrude on me like this if it wasn't a case of emergency. You may spak.
1st Person: (Panting heavily) My queen, we were just observing our normal morning routines on our respectful lands, when all at once we saw a huge cloud of smoke covering the entire sky of our town. We taught the gods was about blessing us with some rain since it ha a while it rained, but to our surprise, we saw the moon wings taking their flight and it is unusual thing to observe in the kingdom.
Amanirenas: Yes, of course. It is really unusual for the moon wings to take their flight, more especially in his early hours of the day.
2nd Person: My queen, what makes it unusual was the way they were screeching. It seems like the forest has been put on…
Amanirenas: (Angrily) Young man, be careful of what you say. Who has the audacity or guts to put the forest of our land on fire. Especially the habitat of our guardian moon wings.
Amanirenas screamed to the second man out of fear of loosing her land to some tribes since it was already reported to the King of the Kingdom of an attempted coupe by Temi, which they all seemed not have believed, and is scared that it is catching up to them but from her town.
Amanirenas: Are you people sure of what you are saying? No body lies to the…
As she was speaking to the men, she heard from afar, a sporadic screech, which sounds like the screech of the moon wings. She then began to get worried and called in for emissary to send him to Carthage, to report to him of the abomination befalling her land and the kingdom as a whole. As this happen, she turned into the fearless and lion-king hearted queen and got a warrior-like behaviour in her soul.
Amanirenas, together with her guards and maids, and the group of men than came to report the situation, quickly run towards the market centre of the town, to observe for herself the calamity befalling her land. It would be much easier for the occupants to take over the kingdom if they successfully capture Azurethra together with its dwellers, because it will be a centre of negotiation between the king and the people Punt, whereas they will obviously request for the resignation of the king as ruler of the Ptolemaic Kingdom, and they will take over as the new rulers of the kingdom.
As soon as Amanirenas saw what her eyes could not believe, she then said to herself, the battle line has been drawn.
