Alright, I will try to keep this as short as possible, so y'all can go back to reading the story. So first, getting into the power settings.
Magic:
For magic, just stop thinking. It's the same as every other novel you've read. Special power, let's you do shit like flying, teleportation, control elements and whatnot.
So, in this novel, you can't grow to be able to control mana. You are either born with the ability to do it, or you're not. And no, there won't be bullshit like artifacts to grant someone ability to use magic. Extremely high-level beings can do so, but only if someone is less than 1 month old or if they have reached the highest level as an aura user.
That said, one can strengthen their ability to use magic through training or other items. Magicians are divided from level 1 to 16, which is measured solely by how much mana they have inside their core, and not their level of control over it.
Level 1-3: Low level magicians
Level 4-6: Medium level magicians
Level 7-9: High level magicians (max potential for most people)
Level 10-12: Ultimate level magicians. (max potential for most geniuses)
Level 13: Super level magicians (at this point, you are a big-shot even in Atsolaes and there are very few cases where there is a super level magician in a lower world.)
Level 14: Magic king (There are no more than 100 magic emperors alive at the same time most of the time. Most people who reach this level take a few hundred thousand years to do so.)
Level 15: Magic Emperor {Most of the time, if you are at this level, you're the greatest magician alive.)
Level 16: Magic god (In the whole history of Atsolaes, there have been no more than 50 motherfuckers who reached this level. Pretty impressive considering Atsolaes has 33 million years of history.)
Each level is divided into early, intermediate, late and peak stage.
Aura:
So, aura is a power that can be used to make one's body, weapons and other things stronger, faster, tougher, and overall just superior. Unlike mana, everyone is born with the ability to use aura.
Like mana though, you can improve your ability to use aura by training but, there are no items that can strengthen one's aura. Aura users have 9 levels.
Beginner: Blue aura
Apprentice: Green aura
Warrior: Purple aura
Master: Red aura (max potential for most people)
Grand master: Black aura with slight traces of red. (max potential for most geniuses}
Sage: Golden aura. (at this point, you are a big-shot even in Atsolaes and there are very few cases where there is a super level magician in a lower world.)
Saint: Rainbow aura. (There are no more than 100 magic emperors alive at the same time most of the time. Most people who reach this level take a few hundred thousand years to do so.)
Divine: silver, black, and gold combined. {Most of the time, if you are at this level, you're the greatest magician alive.)
Transcendent: Colorless/ Any. You can do whatever, use any color, use aura no one can see or sense, anything. (In the whole history of Atsolaes, there have been no more than 50 motherfuckers who reached this level. Pretty impressive considering Atsolaes has 33 million years of history.)
Each stage is divides into Basic, Rookie, Intermediate, Advanced, Crossing.
Innate ability:
Just think of it as something like a superpower. Some people have abilities that are unique only to them. Like maybe some ability to enhance your strength by something like 1000 times or something.
Inborn aura:
It's something that allows one to use abilities unique to their species or family. It could be a unique type of magic, a kind of skill, or anything like that.
World setting:
I'll keep it as simple as possible. Atsolaes is a higher world and there is only one higher world but millions of low-level worlds. It's not some bullshit like atsolaes having better conditions for training why there are stronger people in Atsolaes.
Atsolaes is big as fuck, like 10000 times greater in area than the biggest lower world. So, since most people who have reached a high level like the super magician or Sage are ambitious, they tend to flock in Atsolaes.
As for more geniuses being born in Atsolaes, again, Atsolaes is big as fuck, so simply greater chance of a genius popping out and also, since more stronger people are in Atsolaes, their children are also mostly strong.
