Day 13 of training:
"Alright. Light work over. Time to spar." Camillia said as she picked up her wooden sword.
"You know what I think, master?" Az said.
"What?" Camillia replied.
"I think I'll land a hit today." Az replied.
"You're delusional." Camillia snorted.
Az, indeed, was delusional.

"Man, not today, either." Az complained as he lied down on a bet.
"You seem quite frustrated." A voice rang out.
"Of course, I'm frustrated, mom." Az replied.
For the past 13 days, Diana had visited him every night, made small talk with him, and left. In these 13 days, Az had started using an informal speech with his mother.
Diana simply laughed as she sat down on Az's bed. Az rested his head on her lap and pouted as she patted his head, "Don't stress it too much. I've not met a single person who took less than 10 months to land a hit on Lia. She's quite strong, you know? Almost as strong as me."
Az was still pouting, showing his childish side, that one would forget about, since he didn't show it much. "Even so ….."
They talked for a while before Diana left.

Next morning...
"Your highness, please wake up. Or Miss Camillia is going to be angry." A shy and nervous voice sounded as she shook Az, who was sleeping.
Az sat up and yawned, stretching his hands.
Seeing the scene, Emily blushed. "He's so cute."
"Emily, what time is it?" Az said in between yawns.
"6:50, your highne----." That woke him up as he quickly walked over to the nearest closet grabbed some clothes, entered the bathroom, and came out wearing his training uniform 5 minutes later.
Az, fearing that he might be late, jumped out the window instead of using the front door like a normal person. Emily was left speechless as Az jumped straight down from two stories up.

"Two minutes late, your highness." Camillia said sarcastically.
The same as usual followed that day as well. A one-sided beating of Azrath Bloodfallen.

Day 14, 15, 16, 17 ,18, days passed by with no progress on Az's end.
Beating, then another beating, then another.
Each day, Az was going with a new plan, yet he failed every single time.

Day 19:
Az, right now was trying to survive with all he had in him. He had figured out a kind of pattern to survive as long as possible. Dodge… then create space. By doing just that, he had no chance to land a hit on her as he wasn't even trying to do so, but he would survive until he either exhausted himself, or Camillia got bored and decided to increase the amount of effort she put in.
He kept doing so, until it seemed like he was getting exhausted, and just then, he was kicked in the waist by Camillia, and was sent flying as he hit a wall near an apple tree and got knocked out.
Camillia, as always, went near him and poured a health potion on him.
Az, soon as he opened his eyes stepped to his left, before charging forward with a diagonal slash, which Camillia dodged by taking 3 steps backward. Just then, Az threw a kick at her face, which she avoided by ducking down, resulting in Az's kick hitting the apple tree near which he had landed earlier.
About 10 apples fell from the tree, one of which landed on Camillia's head. Camillia looked up to see Az grinning down on her. "That's a hit, isn't it?"
Camilla was about to deny it, until she remembered her own words. "You can hit me with whatever you want. Swords, stones, fists, kicks, hell, you can even hit me with a fruit if you want."
Camillia muttered some curses under her breath as she replied. "Fine, you brat."
Az was internally screaming in joy, but outwardly, he offered Camillia an apple with a cheeky grin, "A treat on the occasion of my victory, master."
Camillia had veins popping out of her forehead.
~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~
"This is the next part of your training. Awakening your aura." Camillia said as Az sat shirtless in a meditative pose with his eyes closed.
"Clear your mind. And try to dive into your consciousness. When you see a bright blue flame, try to grab it." Camillia continued.
Az tried to follow whatever she said to the best of his ability.
About 20 minutes later, Az found himself in an empty space, surrounded by darkness on all 4 sides, not being able to see anything. "What the hell is this place?"
Just then, he saw a bright blue light a bit far away from where he was. If one looked closer, one could see that it was a flame. Az, remembering what Camillia told him, tried to run towards where the flame was, but noticed that he couldn't even move a single centimeter from where he originally was.
He tried for a few more minutes, before he decided to give up. How the fuck was he supposed to grab the flame if he couldn't even move. Then, a few moments later, it hit him. If he couldn't move, maybe it would come to him. "Come to me." He said, looking like a braindead idiot as he did so.
Then, he decided to call it to him with his mind. "Come to me."
He didn't really have too high hopes for it, but the flame actually came towards him. As the flame reached near him and entered his body in the empty space. His real body opened his eyes as he felt a huge amount of energy flowing through his body. He felt stronger than he ever did.
One who had reached a certain level in aura training could be able to see blue aura flowing out from his body, indicating his level as a beginner level aura user.
Camillia looked at this and smiled. Each time she set an insanely high expectation for him, he surpassed it by a remarkable margin. Seeing his progress in the previous days, she had expected high results from him.
A normal person would usually take 2 or 3 days to awaken aura once they entered their consciousness, so she expected him to awaken it within 5 hours, but this guy took 20 minutes to enter his consciousness and 10 minutes to awaken his aura. She didn't say this though.
"Alright, brat. Let's have a spar so that the new power doesn't get to your head." Camillia said as Az groaned.
"Weren't the spars over when I hit you?" Az asked.
"Nah. We won't spar regularly now. But we should at least do it once a week so I can bea-, I mean make sure you don't forget the feeling of being in a fight and get rusty." Camillia said.
Az nodded, feeling that he would do better than before, and he did, but even with Camillia not using her aura and him using it, the result was a one-sided victory for Camillia. But Az did notice something that made him slightly less depressed. Camillia was using her right hand, which was her dominant one.
So, he had a smile on his face even as he was knocked out.
~3 hours later~
"Alright, brat. From tomorrow, we'll only have 5 hours. So, I'll be teaching you a sword style suitable for you today." Camillia said and Az nodded.
Before he could say anything, Camillia grabbed him and appeared outside a large building that had the words, central library written all over it.
"This is where we'll find the perfect technique for you, brat." Camillia said as she let go of Az as he immediately started .... Vomiting?
"What's wrong with you, brat?" Camillia asked with a frown as she handed him a bottle of water that appeared in her hand from her storage ring she was wearing.
Az, who had stopped vomiting, washed his mouth and drank some water as he replied, "That's what I should be asking you. What the fuck was that?"
Camillia didn't reach there by teleporting. She just ran so fast that it looked like she did. She then had a look of realization on her face. "Oh, I forgot this could be quite difficult for first timers. Let's go back by flying rather than running."
Az just had a deadpan look on his face.
Camillia just shook it off and told Az to follow her into the library.
As they entered the library, the librarian seemed to know Camillia, "Miss Camillia, it's good to see you again. And who's this cute little guy?" She asked.
The librarian was a woman who looked like she was in her sixties with white hair and wrinkles on her face.
Camillia answered with a grin. "This is my new disciple. Isn't he adorable?"
The librarian seemed to think so as she picked Az up and started rubbing her cheek against his. "Aw. Aren't you a cute little creature?"
Az frowned as he escaped her hold and created some space between them. "Lady, I'm a child, not a toddler."
The old woman pouted. "Awww."
Az looked around and asked. "Isn't this place the central library? Why is it so …empty?"
Camillia was the one who answered. "Do you think anyone can enter the central library? It's reserved for special people."
She then turned to the old librarian, "I'm here to get a sword style for him."
The librarian nodded. "Alright, you know where to find it."
Camillia nodded and started walking towards a direction, with Az following her.
"The librarian seemed to know you. I didn't expect it." Az told Camillia.
"What's that supposed to mean?" Camillia asked him with a frown.
"You didn't look like someone who reads that much." Az replied.
"Are you saying I look dumb?" Camillia asked with a frown, to which Az just shrugged, which caused veins to pop out of her head.
As they were talking, Camillia stopped walking and pointed towards a circle on the floor which had two swords drawn on it. "Stand in that circle and raise your arm in front of you. The book that is most suitable for you will come to you."
Az did as she said, and a book came to his hand just like Camillia said.
'God's Anguish.'
…..To be continued
A/N: New chapter guys. Hope you ate good.
Fun fact: Azrath would support Kendrick Lamar in the rap beef between him and drake, just because he wouldn't like drake. Also, his famous rapper would be Eminem, or to be precise, Slim shady.
