Chapter 2 - Azrath is a prince?

A young man who looked to be in his early twenties threw a pack of cards at the floor in a fit of rage and slammed his head on the poker table. "Man, fuck it. I don't wanna play no more. Why do I keep losing to this 9-year-old brat who doesn't even hair down there yet?"

On the other hand, the 'brat' was smiling from ear to ear. "Funny coming from a lil bitch whose dick is so small that his girlfriend would rather fuck a beggar than him."

The man's ear turned red. He couldn't say nothing since it was true that his ex cheated on his ass with a beggar.

Just then, a young lady who seemed to be the waitress of the place put down two bottles of rum on the poker table and gave a cheeky grin. "He's not wrong, is he?"

The man had no choice but to shut the fuck up since he had no response to that.

"Hey Az, you owe me 20 pieces of silver, you bastard." A bald man screamed from across the room.

Just as he said that, his face was hit by a heavy pouch of what was probably a bag of silver coins.

"Ouch, throw it slowly, motherfucker." The bald man screamed again.

"Work on your catching skills instead of complaining, egghead." Az replied.

Just then, Az got up and started to leave the place. "Oi motherfuckers, fun time's over. Let's go back."

"Az, it's only 10." A teenage boy replied, his voice suggesting he was clearly wasted.

"Motherfucker, it's 1, where did your ass see an extra 0. And your ass should be the first one out of here. Your mama comes back at 5 in the morning, don't she?" Az replied.

As he said that, 9 teenage boys started walking towards the exit. Seeing this, Az frowned. "Where are the other three buffoons?"

"Gina, don't leave me." Just as he said that, a drunk voice rang out.

Az turned to the direction the voice came and saw a boy looked to be in his late teens grabbing the leg of a beautiful young lady begging her to not heave him as 2 boys looked at this and laughed.

Az walked over to him and kicked him straight in his stomach, knocking him out. The girl thanked him quickly and ran off. Az turned to the 2 boys with a deadpan expression on his face. "Slap each other in the face before I slap both of you bozos."

The boys clearly didn't want to be slapped by Az as they slapped each other. "Now carry this loser and follow me."

"Yes, sir." They just carried the boy and followed Az just as he said.

Az opened a door and entered the room. The room itself was pretty shabby, looking as if it hadn't been cleaned in a few months. It had nothing other than 4 beds that had very thin bed sheets over them with broken walls.

The two boys from earlier followed him into the room carrying the guy from earlier and threw him on one of the beds as the first thing they did.

"Man, I'm tired as fuck." One of the boys complained as he jumped on one of the beds.

"Me too." The other boy said as he too jumped on another bed.

"Alright then, go to bed. We looted enough for at least half a year today. No need to go looting for at least 1 month." Az said.

As he was saying that, the boys seemed to have already drifted into a deep sleep. Az, noticing that, just smiled and just as he was ready to go to bed himself, he saw the book he had found earlier. He decided to turn on the lamp and read it for a while before going to bed.

As he started reading the book, 1 hour passed as he kept on reading. As he was reading, one particular character caught his attention. This was because the character was similar to him in many ways. They were both street kids with the name Azrath, and both of them even had similar facial features.

In the middle of the night, Az didn't think much about it, as he dismissed it as a coincidence. Az's story was a tragic one. He was a prince and since the king wanted to raise princes that had experienced life at the bottom, he threw all his children in the street until they were 10 years old. When he was 10, they took him back to the palace and he proved to be a never-before-seen genius in both magic and aura training.

However, the king later discovered that Azrath wasn't his son, but a child born as a result of his second wife cheating on him with another man. When he found out about this, he threw Azrath in a cell on his 18th birthday and later executed him alongside his mother.

He wasn't that important of a character by any means. He was a character that served to turn Azrath's master, who was a close aide of the king against him in the story. And he was mentioned only in a flashback in the middle of the story.

That was the point until which Azrath read, before he decided to go to sleep. As it was night and he was sleepy, Azrath failed to notice that the next day was August 10th of the year 33,333,303, his 10th birthday and also the day Azrath in the book was taken to the palace in the book.

The next morning, Azrath and the other three boys woke up to a loud noise from outside their room. "Is someone named Azrath here?"

Az rubbed his eyes and yawned as he looked at the boys that were already awake. "What time is it?"

"10:30." The boy that was grabbing the leg of the young girl last night replied with a yawn.

"Which stupid motherfucker is making so much noise so early in the morning?" Az said, his voice clearly showing that he was very irritated.

He looked out of the window and saw two guards, both wearing uniform that suggested that they were both guards from the royal palace. Az narrowed his eyes. He wasn't particularly fond of these guards, especially since he lost both his mother and his elder sister due to their corruption.

Back when he was 8, his mom, as a maid in the house of a count, found out about the corruption of the count and reported the corruption of the count to a guard along with document proof of his corruption since there was a huge reward issued by the royal palace for anyone who reported the corruption of a noble with proof.

Unfortunately, the guard realized that there was more profit for him if he reported this to the count instead of reporting this to the king.

That resulted in the count sending some people to kill their entire family and so, instead of the promised reward, they were instead given a ticket to an early grave. Azrath could never forget the day, the day he realized that the only true justice in this world was power.

"MOM!! SIS!! NOO!!" Az screamed as he had tears running down his cheeks. The people seemed to be too busy witnessing the murder of his mom and sister in broad daylight to be particularly paying attention to the young boy's heart wrenching scream.

Just as he was screaming, someone put a hand over his mouth as they stopped him from screaming or running towards the guards. "Az, calm down. You can't save them and they're gonna kill you too if they hear you." The boy who had a hand on Az's mouth said.

~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~
Az tried to shake off the memory and screamed at the guards. "Excuse me, may I ask who you're looking for, officer?"
One of the guards replied. "A boy called Azrath. Do you know him?"
"Afraid not. I think there's someone named that in a red colored house about 500 meters to the east from here. Is he in some kind of trouble, officer?" Az lied without blinking an eye.
"Nothing like that. Just something his majesty seems to want from him." The guard replied.
"His majesty? He must be quite something then." Azrath replied, inwardly wondering what the king wants from him. Whatever it was, Az was sure as it wasn't a reward as he hadn't done anything worthy of it.
Before the guard could reply, the other guard seemed to whisper something to him. Az, who read his lips, realized what he was saying. "He matches the description."
Then, Az knew they were onto him when the guard said, "You, what's your name?"
Az immediately grabbed some dirt from the ground as he replied, "You can call me htarza."
One of the guards whispered to the other. "That's just Azrath backwards. Does he think that we were born yesterday?"
As they said that, red aura started emitting from them as they ran towards Az. Az threw the dirt in his hand in front of him, and as the dirt went inside their eyes, Az tried to kick them in the face but found his leg simply caught.
Seeing Az like that, one of his roommates screamed at the guards. "Oi, let Az go, you bastards."
But the guards simply knocked all three of them out. "Leave them out of whatever this is, you motherfuckers." Az growled as he struggled to get out of their hold.
However, the guards maintained their silence as they threw Azrath inside of a carriage and then did something that Az would have never expected. They kneeled down in front of him and respectfully said to him. "Your highness, please don't misunderstand. We mean no harm."
Hearing that, Az was reminded of something, that being the book he read the previous night, specifically the Azrath inside the book. Still knowing that he was right, yet refusing to believe it, he asked. "What do you mean, Your highness?"
"Your highness, you are actually the son of His majesty Aliser Alikerth and the 2nd queen Diana Bloodfallen."
Boom. It crashed down on him. There was still a chance it was a coincidence but the higher chances were that the book was the future and him, he was Azrath Bloodfallen, the bastard prince who was destined to die by execution when he was 18.
 ...To be continued
A/N: Hello there, people I'm back again. New chapter? Like it? Love it? Or be the asshole and say you hate it. If there's anything I did wrong, just tell me and I'll try to improve it. Just don't be like dropped and leave without saying anything productive.
Peace out.
