Jade took in a deep breath and exhaled. How could she just freeze over because of a little incident, she should be more than this.
"Are you okay, Jade?" Levi again.
She gave him a half smile, "I'm fine," Jade looked out the car window, they were parked in front of a fancy restaurant. "Italian sounds fancy." She said trying to stray away from the topic.
"Come on, let's go," Levi said.
The place was so fancy and there was soft classical music playing in the background. This was fine dining at its peak. Jade picked up the menu a few seconds after they got seated at their table; everything was in Italian and the prices were outrageous she almost choked on her saliva.
"We could've just had dinner at home you know," Jade said, still scanning the menu.
"Yeah, but then we need public appearances and it's paramount that I take my wife out on a date," He replied.
"Okay," Jade replied.
