Claire held Jade as she continued to sob. She didn't try to stop her from crying, it was better for Jade to just let it all out. When her crying finally came down to just sniffs, she pulled away from Claire, apologizing for snotting all over her shirt.
"Do you feel better now?" Claire asked, watching Jade clean her face with more tissue paper.
"Not really, I just don't have any more tears and my eyes hurt," Jade replied.
Claire didn't know how to go about the situation at hand, but she had to start from somewhere. "So, what happened?" Claire asked, hoping Jade would give her real answers. It was hard to get things out of Jade so hopefully, she might spill her tea in her emotional state.
