"So, don't get me wrong I love you and all but you can't avoid your husband forever," Claire said, dropping next to Jade on the couch.
Jade looked at her with puppy dog eyes, "Can't I just stay here forever and give you foot rubs after work?"
"You're not bribing me with that," Claire replied, rolling her eyes but still setting her feet on Jade's lap.
"I just want to be a couch potato and eat chips all day and watch Audrey Hepburn movies," Jade whined,
Claire sighed, "He asked about you at work today."
Jade's ears perked up.
"Well… what did he say?" Jade asked.
"He just asked if you were doing okay and I said yes," Claire replied.
Jade nodded, what had she expected to hear? That he misses her or what? "Never fall in love with the wrong guy Claire, use me as an example."
Claire laughed, "I hear you, but no more Audrey Hepburn; I want to watch something else."
