Still wrapped up in Levi's hold, Jade tried to focus on other things like the sound of the guests chattering, the sound of clinking glasses, the click of cameras, and the way the lights sparkled. Anything else but the way she felt right now, but it was easier to ignore her feelings when he wasn't holding her.
"Jade, are you okay? You seem a little tense," Levi asked, their bodies still swaying to the soft music in the background.
"Yeah, I am." She managed to reply, avoiding his eyes.
Levi nodded at her reply and they continued dancing, "So, who was the guy you were dancing with? Is he a friend of yours, I've never seen him around." He asked, trying to sound as casual as possible. The last thing he wanted was to ruin this moment because of his pettiness and jealousy.
"He's my teacher, I started taking beginner photography classes," Jade replied.
