As usual, Jade sat in the familiar waiting room reading a pamphlet on the donation of eggs. It wasn't like she was considering it but it was what her hands caught first. If she didn't come in for her check-up today Dr. Nate had told her he would personally come look for her at home. She would've loved the company over at the house but it would be stressful for him when she could just make it to the hospital.
"Jade Hart, the doctor will see you now." A nurse called out to her,
She nodded, put down the pamphlet she was holding, and walked towards his office, after a knock on the door she entered. He greeted her with a charming smile as usual and gestured for her to take the seat opposite him.
"How've you been Jade?" He asked, scribbling something on a paper.
