Jacob Anderson sat on his horse, a sword strapped to his side. He was a soldier, a soldier fighting for his country. He unsheathed his sword and ran into the battle with his fellow soldiers empowering his blade with his Ki energy. A large blue glow covering it as he charged through the battle. Jacob knew he didn't exactly mean much. In the end he was just cannon fodder. He was knocked off of his horse by a flying arrow that was infused with Ki.
He fell into the mud with a splat. There was mud covering his armor, so he wiped the mud off of his armor and clenched his sword that almost fell out of his hands. He panted as he sprinted across the battlefield, his feet splattering in the mud. The rain hit his armor. It made an irritating noise. He sprinted faster, using his Ki energy to speed up his movement, he jumped and stabbed someone through the eyehole in their armor. His sword plunged into their head and he quickly pulled it out as he ran.Β
He was scared of death, even though he would die, he knew the moment he joined this army. If his country died, he died with it, and right now, his country was going to die. He roared as he charged forward, right towards a commander of the enemy, a lancer. He jumped into the air and tried to stab him only to be greeted with a blade hitting him far back.
"Tch, some fodder is challenging me?"
For a split second, something released from Jacob, a blazing power, he thrusted his sword forward, a nuclear sword beam coming out of it, he put all of his life's essence in that one attack.
He missed.
The blast caused some major damage in the fodder area of the army. But nothing special. It was too condensed to kill a lot. The commanders Lance skewered through Jacob, he felt the blood pouring out of him.
"Wow, that was impressive, no other fodder would be able to do that. How sad. Maybe with some training you would've been able to standup against me. But alas, the stargate will claim you."
"The stargate? What the hell is that?"
"Just an experiment. But you should be a good test subject."
The commander snickered before Jacob's vision fully flickered out. He felt like he was swimming in an abyssal sea. He couldn't see anything, it was like his eyes were open but nothing was there. But in the distance, he saw something, strings, lots of strings, purple strings, blue strings, white strings, and there was a finger, a finger weaving them. The pitch black finger reached out to Jacob, and Jacob could see his own body, it was illuminating a light glow. He pressed his hand against the finger.
Then suddenly something broke behind him, like the abyss was shattering. And then there was a rainbow tunnel, it illuminated the abyss, the finger slowly pushed him into the tunnel and he was shot through it. He started to hear voices.
"Wake up, Clay!"
