Chapter 19 - Something’s not right…

"More and more and more and more; just how much more will you two just continue this nonsensical fighting? And all for what? Just for some mere showcase of power? If you want to showcase your power, why don't you fight me and her…" the voice stated. "I cracked both of your attacks with a simple third attack. Powerful it seems. All for show it seems. No one continues screaming on the battlefield if they want to showcase their power, for a potent person never needs to explain themselves on the battlefield."

"Whatever be it so, you two are again creating chaos for no reason. Veritia is going to be mad at me again for continuously abusing her power in this absurd realm.", Wellester's voice was distinctly heard.

"Allastor and Wellester. So you two are still alive in this world.", Radal turned his bloodshot eyes towards them. His eyes were now set on a new target.

"It seems that the little god hunter thinks he can try to capture me. Better yet, he thinks that he can go against a weakened poor wee little man? Boo-hoo little one." Allastor was taunting the two of them.

Meanwhile, all Nanami could do was stare at the entire situation completely baffled. "Doing this shit for power? What the hell is power in this cursed world?", was all that he could think of. "Nothing in their heads ever works. Overgrown children I am left to deal with at all times, not to mention the amount of pain and suffering that each of you guys has caused me. I could seriously just wreak havoc and leave everything amok, but my good senses do not allow me to. I just want to be there for everyone. I just want to be there to help everyone. That is why I allied. How is it even starting to crack? Was it because of the new generation of children?"

He could only question himself, and the mistakes that he might have made.

There was nothing clear in his head, that could give him a proper answer. Absolutely nothing. I am here looking at the entire situation and I cannot even help them. They are driving themselves nuts purely because the story wants them to be driven nuts. Nothing is ever truly our choice, is it? It takes so many rotations of the planet to finally grasp how much potential one truly has, but that can robbed and taken away by a singular action by someone else who has no power in your life at all. Such is the misery of the life.

At the end of it all, it always seems like approaching it with absolutely nothing to lose, is how one should look at it. You will lose everything. At least, that is what I am made to think. Is there something to look forward to?

I am forced to watch over a planet where I have watched one generation succumb to the power of the gods, the second generation practically kills themselves in a massive war, and then this third generation seems to want to have a civil war approach. No one seems to be even remotely right in their head.

Gods love to mess around with any organism's mind. After all, they are still extremely fuming over their losses and some are unable to live with this new reality of theirs. I am unable to live with this new reality of mine.

"JUST SHUT UP!", Radal screamed across the battlefield. "I always thought that there was someone who couldn't just shut up about every move that I was making. There was a period where I was happy that the voice in the sky didn't talk about every move that I made. But now, it seems to have come back. Who exactly are you?" Radal pointed his weapons at the sky.

"Hoo? Is that so? Are you sure you are not schizophrenic or anything? You sure you are not hearing any voices in your head because, seems to be you might have gotten a little too tipsy with something after witnessing great happen." Allastor was getting into his attacking stance.

I am shocked.

Just shocked.

Are there people who can hear what I am narrating, that are present on this planet?

REALLY?

They hear a Primordial God's voice.

They should be dying by the mere presence of my voice.

Arawn: Pay no heed to that voice, my boy. That is just someone useless. They unfortunately dictate every action that is taking place, no matter what has taken place. He thinks that he can only speak the actions that someone else has written for them, but we all know that this is impossible

Such a fallacy these miserable creatures live in. All they can do is refute my beliefs. However, I know what is true, and what is not. I cannot even interfere and disturb this natural order.

Even if I do, that annoying servant of Veritia will always bring the entire thing back into the status quo.

Nothing ever changes. Everything seems to always come back full circle if you wait for enough time.

Even gods like us do not have any choice in this battle. We are just fruitless plants in a dying forest.

Nanami, Allastor, Wellester and Radal. All four individuals present inside the storm are staring at each other to see who makes the first move.

That one first move would determine the flow and nature of the battle.

"No sudden movements, okay people? Let's just play this game fair and simple.", Radal announced to the battlefield.

Nanami threw his weapons to the floor and punched the ground with as much pure force as possible, in an attempt to shatter the entire playing field.

Unfortunately for him, Wellester was paying far too much attention to Nanami's sudden movements, so she quickly set everything back into balance by transferring the force back at herself and Nanami, sending the two of them flowing out of the battlefield.

Radal lunges at the surprised Allastor in an attempt to pull his eyes out.

"Not so fast, HUNTER!", Allastor flips himself to counter the attack with his legs. Things have just taken a turn.

Through the smoke of the storm, Nanami's body was getting tossed around with just the sheer telekinetic power that Wellester was wielding. Nothing short of ordinary.

Meanwhile, on the other side, we can visit the hospital once again…

Clara is seen calmly sleeping while communicating with Egoister using her foot to hit the frame in Morse code to pack up some things for them to run from this place.

Clara and Egoister have already dealt with a lot when they came here. From being tossed around for just knowing the truth of the world, they sacrificed way too much to be in the position that they are in.

To a point, they are ready to give it up. They have absolutely nothing to lose anymore. They can just leave everything and start afresh.

"The scariest person is someone who has nothing to lose… Now isn't that something interesting?", another voice spoke in the misty background.

"Who is there? And why are you awake so late at night?", Egoister tried to calm the voice.

"Now, I am just a figure in the night. I am just there for the folly and the jest of everything. After al,l I can just be someone that exists, and that doesn't exist. I am constantly in a state of superposition. So I am everywhere.", stated the voice.

"That voice doesn't belong to the entity I know that has superposition states. Therefore, I cannot trust you." A raincloud could be seen forming outside the gateway of the room.

"Such fancy technique, over poor little me?", the voice taunted again.

whooooooooooosh

And with that down came the rain that washed everything away. Simple and effective to say the least. This was the most amount of water that the voice had been drenched with.

"kekekeke", just softly chuckled the voice. "Now WHERE ARE YOU HIDING!"

The window was wide open, and one can easily presume what might have happened.

Carrying Clara's body, and the case full of materials to escape with, Egoister jumped out of the room and escaped.

"DRATS, THOSE BRATS HAVE ESCAPED", the voice chanted. "Get me in line with Kars!"

"I need those children back in my hands!"
