Gasping and panting, Egoister does his best to move as fast as he can. Even a second to merely blink could cost their attempt, and they could probably be imprisoned in that special room of theirs.
Staring into Clara's void of an eye socket, was the only motivation he required to keep moving forward.
A search party was organized by Nanami's team to do two things: examine the status of the battle taking place near the bubble and find where Clara and Egoister are escaping.
The entire situation turned topsy-turvy within minutes of them escaping, as Egoister was practically hightailed by seven different unknown faces. No one could see them; they were just hidden. But their presence was known. It felt like someone was using mind control techniques to mess with everyone's heads.
Clara woke up and looked at herself in Egoister's arms.
"I knew that I made the right choice by choosing you," she claimed while she rested in his arms. "What we need to do now, is try reaching those two beings again. I have a feeling that we might be making a deal with the devil here, but she seemed to be extremely positive about the relationship that I have with you. I am just going to trust that, along with the power that Minerva has trust in me. I have that wisdom… at least I hope that I do." Clara told her lover.
Egoister didn't utter a single word. He didn't want to waste a single breath of energy in replying to it. His mind was completely focused on first escaping from the wretched place.
Clara stated, "Egoister, I think it would become much easier for us to manage this if we reach them. I think they have survived long enough outside the crutches of Nanami Sensei and everyone else that I feel like they are probably the only ones that we can trust."
Egoister could just turn his face into one with disapproving features.
"Now I know that you are sceptical, given how our circumstances had been and where we were originally… but we make do with what we got at this point. Got it?" Clara sternly told him.
Meanwhile, at the battlefield, Nanami and Wellester seem to be tossing each other from one end of the field to the other, and Radal is chasing down a hyper-fast Allastor.
Out of nowhere, the entire ground starts to fill up with sand once again. But this time, all four are extremely callous about the entire scenario.
The sand slowly fills up until their ankle level, and then they realize the severity of the situation.
All of a sudden, a thousand hands seem to grab all four of them.
"Finally, the sleeping beauties have woken up from their slumber.", Wellester stated as she got a massive uppercut from Nanami, sending her flying quite a distance.
Distractions andplot pointss.
Two tools that can be used to sway the way a reader can read the story.
Nothing can take away from the fact that these individuals all have their fates that seem to be predetermined, but at the same time, they all seem to be the same story, in every world…
Nothing can take away from the fact that I am just the Primordial God fashioned into narrating this stupid place's stories.
I cannot even move from my place, let alone do something that would be deemed worthy, freeing me from this eternal punishment that I must bear.
"Interesting story, useless creature. However, I do not care", the servant of Arawn screamed into the blooded sky.
Gil emerges from the dusty storm, but this time, his eyes are glowing. There's a hint of motivation in his eyes. A desire to kill. The goal is for the insane.
Anubis: Rise my servant. We have work to be done.
"LET MY SAND ENVELOPE THIS WORLD!", Gil screamed as he punched as hard as he could on the ground, and unearthed his massive ship from the ground. This singular action managed to tear up the entire battlefield. Debris flew everywhere, and the people were thrown like little toys in a child's playset.
With no hesitation over the destruction it would cause, Sakurai sat outside the battlefield's chaotic storm patiently, awaiting the perfect moment to strike and kill Gil. That was her main agenda and sole objective.
Allastor starts to laugh maniacally. "What a lovely performance. I would have never expected that this person would have taken the petals so willingly. Well, there is always something interesting about all of us."
Wellester was on her way darting across the flying debris in an attempt to catch her smile.
Nanami was hit with a shard after shard, multiple debris and flying pieces of the field, like a game avatar glitching he was pushed up and down due to the momentum of the pieces. Needless to say, he was not having an enjoyable time at all.
Meanwhile, Radal just howled at the sky, making it turn more and more red. "I WILL MAKE SURE THAT HELL FREEZES OVER BEFORE I AM DONE WITH THE THREE OF YOU!"
Not wanting to waste a single of precious time, Wellester released her blade and struck it on the ground to nullify all the damage that was going to be causedtoo the people present on the field.
All five persons collapsed in an instant, and immediately felt the sharp pain, as the shockwave hit their body. The storm seemed to quell down in an instant, revealing the damage that was caused to the surrounding area.
"RAHHHHHHHHHH!", Sakurai had found her golden opportunity. She lunged forward with her new daggers to gain the higher ground over Gil, who seemed to be recovering much faster than the others.
"Time to die, you lovely psycho!", Gil pulled out his ship's mast to defend himself. The two kept clashing, with Sakurai constantly being on the offensive.
The sand below them began to collect more and more, increasing everyone who was touching to age significantly. Time seemed to be completely irrelevant to death when all he has to do to transport you is judge your heart and take you to the destination.
"My scales cannot judge you unless I have your heart. Therefore, I cannot do anything without it. All I can pray for is that you continue to live so that the heart that I take will continue to beat in my hand." Gil calmly told her.
"WAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAARRR!" Practically all of Sakurai's speech had turned incoherent, as she completely succumbed to the immense power that Kore held.
Anubis: It seems that her insanity seems to have completely clouded her judgement and logical capabilities. All she wants to do is eliminate you for some reason. What is her real fascination with you? Or does that fascination have to do with something that I have?
"I feel like you should be much more grateful with me as your servant. I will not succumb to how much ever power you guide me with. I will forever be grateful for the sanity that you have gifted me."
Anubis: AY! But there is one thing that you have forgotten. You are also insane, it's just that something that you sacrificed is far more different than what the others have been gifted. This gift you have been given… You managed to sacrifice your precious piece of sanity before gaining such greatness of power. But your negotiation skills are far better than most people's so you did not lose much of your Being into this transformation.
"Could we talk after we have finished fending off this crazy…" Gil told his master.
Sakurai's movements were becoming more and more unpredictable, as her godly aura rose more and more. She became much faster and much more agile with every frame of this story goes forward.
"There are very few things that I am usually worried about, and this is not one of them. I am always going to be present for her revival again and again and again. I AM THERE UNTIL THE END OF THIS FIGHT.", another voice screamed at the battlefield.
Tearing through the battlefield, both Clara and Egoister were now present.
The variables for this expression to be possible in this timeline are all present in one location. A shattered bubble's battlefield was torn up by a ship and brought into this world by the might and power of Servants and Avatars guided by their demons and gods.
All for a world filled with fallacy.
Filled with lies…
Filled with misery…
"I am here to save you two, Allastor, Wellester!", Clara stated.
