"Sister," Aurora called.
Kristie cursed under her breath, took a deep breath, then turned around, seeing Aurora standing a few steps away, in her blue nightgown and a thick shawl covering her shoulder.
"What is it?" she answered, furrowing her brows.
"I saw my sister walking. I thought you had a problem. Did sister go out?" she asked, arching her brows downwards.
Kristie's frown deepened. 'Cunning ******' she thought. Having met plenty of people during her journeys, what she hated the most was the two-faced person who showed endless support while he stabbed your back. This Marquis's daughter was like that. Her brown eyes sparked with innocence but hidden emotions faced Barbara—jealousy, envy, and hatred.
Kristie thought for a while, then answered casually, "Yes, I was outside, meeting my fiancé. Did you have any issues?" nearing her, she lowered her face and whispered in Aurora's ears. "Do not tell my parent." Kristie smiled bashfully.
