"I want to tell you—"
Aurora suddenly opened the door and went in, interrupting Barbara. "Sir Richard, Lady Hughes? You are here too! I thought, no one is there. I came to visit sister," she talked nonstop.
Richard nodded and turned to her. "What did Lady Hughes want to say earlier?" he asked.
Barbara was startled by his question. Now the situation had changed after Aurora's presence. She would never speak of her swapping with him.
"I wanted to say that Sir Clarkson needs not to worry about Lady Barbara's health. I assure you she will wake up at most in a month," she informed. Her voice was filled with confidence.
"I wish so," he said, smiling faintly. "I have to leave now," he added, walking out.
Barbara went to sit in the chair beside Kristie, ignoring Aurora. Since she had witnessed last night, she became wary of her.
