Another thing he noticed from reading about meditation was the fact that celestials aren't suppose to hear anything once they start their meditation. It will be them alone in the white space with no one to converse with.
But that had made him wonder why he was able to hear the voice of the lady from before. How did she knew his name? How is it possible for her to talk to him during his meditation when it was clearly stated in the book that it's impossible for such to happen.
Ken couldn't help but wonder just who was the lady? If getting strong was what she wants before she could talk to him, then Ken was going to do everything in his power to become strong.
Another thing he read from the book was the fact that during meditation, a celestial could walk around, test his powers and skills in the celestial space, but while doing this, no mana points will be used. It was considered to be a free space.
Knowing this, Ken had decided to test it out and confirm if it was true or not. So he stood up from his position and decided to try his celestial skills first.
With his hand by his side, he thought of forming an invisible mana ball, and right then, energy had started gathering around his hands, forming into the shape of a ball.
It appeared to be invisible like he pictured in his mind, and as he threw his hands forward, it headed straight for the wall. A small echo sound was heard, showing that the ball had made impact.
Next, he tested the visible mana ball and it had turned out to be the same result, as it made a small echo sound.
"I guess that's it for that." Since the mana punch requires him to physically punch a person, he had decided to suspend that for later.
Next, he attempted to test out his vampiric skill. For this, he had received only one skill, which is Blood Beam. Though there wasn't any book available for him to read to understand how the skill worked, he knew he would somehow figure it out.
With his palm spread out towards the wall, he activated the skill.
[Blood Beam Activated]
A huge red beam had appeared, leaving the palm of his hands as it crashed against the walls of the room.
However, unlike when he had tested out his Mana balls, and a small echo had resounded, this time a large impact had been made to the wall, and the echo was so loud that it had almost deafened Ken's ears.
"Arghh!" He screamed, at the same time the white room had started crumbling down, turning into nothing but darkness.
That was when he received a follow up notification from the system.
[Meditation has been cancelled]
[8 minutes used]
[You can no longer meditate for the day]
[40 points of mana received]
[Mana: 290]
"Well, that's surprising." Ken said as he opened his eyes to his surroundings.
He wasn't expecting the sheer power of the blood beam to be capable enough of destroying the white space. This shows how powerful his vampiric skill was, compared to his current celestial skills.
Since he had tested most of his newly gotten skills in the celestial space, he had decided to suspend his training till some other day. But before he left, he had one more thing to check out.
[—Stats—]
[Flight: 5]
"Does this mean I can fly?" He wondered as he thought of leaping or jumping up.
Then all of a sudden, he found himself being lifted slowly into the air.
"What the…? I'm flying!"
His feet had been lifted about a few metres off the ground before it stopped. He was now hovering at the point where his head will be if he was standing.
"I guess I'll go higher than this once my flight stat increases." He said.
So far, he realised that his actions, his skills and stats, they all depend on his thoughts. When he thought of flying, the flight stat had activated, levitating him upward.
Now, thinking of landing on the ground, he instantly found himself being carefully returned to the ground.
So far, he has been able to test out all of his skills and abilities. And he must say, he feel so riled up to become even stronger than this.
Finally, he decided to leave the training hall. He had spent enough time in the place, tomorrow he'll be back to test out his skills against the humanoid toys.
He exited the hall and made sure the door was locked before he left. On his way, he visited the convenience store to buy some snacks and juice.
Afterwhich he headed for his dorm room. He was just sitting down on the single sofa of his room, when he spotted a red envelope on his bed.
Wondering what it was, he took the envelope and teared it open. As he did, it revealed a paper, but in the paper was a text which read as such;
"Aren't you wondering where the bodies are? The body of the second level student you killed? And also the witness you forgot to get rid of."
Ken's eyes widened with shock as he read this, that even the juice he had in his hands had instantly fell to the ground. He thought the memory of those two students was just an imagination, he couldn't believe it was real.
And now someone had caught him red-handed, who knows if it was a teacher or a student, or even one of the celestials?? How was he meant to defend himself?
"Come to the second-level dorm building, with the red letter, my friends will bring you to the roof. I know what you are, don't be scared. You're one of us and I know what you did lastnight."
The last part had came as a surprise to him, what does it mean he's one of them… they couldn't actually be a…
"Vampire… they are a vampire!"
