After being invited into the group, the system message had appeared, informing of this new development.

Glancing at Sam as he stood in front of everyone, Ken couldn't help but wonder just how strong he could be. If he was the leader, then it means he must be the strongest of the team. That must be why the system gave him a quest to become as strong him.
While he was busy thinking of this, Sam had written something on the board, and it read;
"Level Up Day! The day the vampires take action against the celestials."
However, Ken fail to understand the clarity of the sentence. But he could notice the wide grin appearing one each Vampire's face as if they had been expecting this.
"After so long, we got to know the day. We've been waiting for the actual day to be revealed, and now we have it." One of the vampires stated and everyone had nodded to this, all except Ken.
Sam noticing this had decided to explain. "I don't know if you know, but vampires and celestials have been enemies for years." Sam said, as he waited for a reply from Ken.
"I know, but I've never met any celestial before, I don't even know what they do." Ken said, trying not to reveal the fact that he was one, or that he had even met another celestial in the academy - his teacher, Angela.
Sam had then went on to explain how the celestials have a cruel personality. How they wiped out two cities full of vampires and humans living together with each other.
The others had also joined in as they shared their own experience with a celestial. Some even claimed that their family members and loved ones have been a victim to their cruel actions and killings.
At that is why a mission had been set up for all vampires, and that is to eliminate every celestials. The mission will start at the academy, and small squad groups were placed in each academy centre to follow up on the activities going on and report back to the base.
There are a lot of celestials in the academy, and just as they were aware of this, the celestials were also aware of their presence. But the two groups are both hiding in the shadows, trying not to reveal themselves yet.
They knew if anyone was caught at this moment, the group will want to know the hideout of the other group. So in this case, members of both groups have been given strict orders to commit suicide if they ever happened to get caught.
As for the words written on the board, it was the day the vampires would be taking actions against the celestials. And that was the Level up day - the day first level students will have their final test to move up to the second level.
It was also the day when those in 2nd level will move to the 3rd level which is when they'll be leaving the academy to fight in other worlds outside the earth planet.
On the day of their final tests, was the day the execution of their long awaited plans will take place.
"But that's still long." Ken said, and everyone's gaze had fell on him.
"It's just ten weeks to this time, do you know how long we've been waiting for this day?" One of the vampires said.
Unlike the first levels who would spend ten weeks - two and a half months to move to the next level, the second levels will use up to a year before they could move on.
So, being a second level student, Sam had been in the academy since last year, after his first-level test, which was the usual ten weeks duration.
And what Ken came to realise was that these vampires are all second level students, which means Ken was the only first-level student in their current group.
Sam explained how long they have been waiting, things they had to endure and their members who had lost their lives in the process.
After the explanation, Ken then begin to understand what the vampire meant. He was among the ones who claimed for their family members to have been killed by the celestials.
Somehow, he felt pity for the vampire, as he remembered how tortured he was about his own parents, not to talk of a family member. And ever since then, he swore never to stop till he get back at the person behind their deaths.
After all had been said and discussed, Sam had decided to end the meeting, while every other vampire were free to leave, he told ken to wait behind as they had an important matter to deal with.
Once everyone was gone, a stretcher was brought in through a portal created by Sam. It had raised a brow from Ken as he wondered where he had been brought from, it couldn't be from the school clinic, could it?
"How do you create those portals?" Ken asked. He has been wondering about this since he saw him open one at the rooftop of the building.
And since all students at the academy could only use elemental powers, he wondered how it was possible for Sam to create something like this.
A person he knew to be able to use such a power differing from the common elemental powers was Angela, who was a celestial. She told him that every celestials has their own powers, which had made him expectant of his.
But to see Sam possess a power of his own…
"This is my vampiric power, I can open portals to anywhere. It's something I've been able to do since I was young. You can also learn one too. There's a long list of them to choose from." Sam explained before turning his gaze to look at the person placed in the stretcher.
"The problem now is, what do we do with him?" Sam said.
Ken stood from his seat as he went to see what he was talking about, and that was when he spotted the body of the first-level student from last night.
"So, will you kill him or rather have your identity of being a vampire leaked by him?"
