It was the day of the Progeny tournament, Dyre was wearing his armor and was holding Gae Bulg. He stood there in Pride's chamber with his mother.
"It seems that you are first, my child." Lilith said with her hand on his head "You'll Do great!" she said as any good mother would.
"Uhh… thanks mom!" Dyre said awkwardly as he wasn't used to this kind of support and love. The Lantern's had given up on him so early that this kind of love was new to him. But he took a deep breath and went to the arena.
The crowd roared as the small warrior wearing golden armor had entered the arena. For them this was the first warrior from the Ring of Pride, and their excitement was palpable, for his defeat.
Sinse Lilith had taken the Ring of Pride, she had been undefeated, the demons had long grown tired of her perfect victories and now there was someone they could put their rage on.
Dyre had made it to the arena and looked at his opponent, thankfully she was somebody he knew. Nine horns atop her head like a wicked crown, these horns knotted and curled like horrid tree roots. a wide Mouth filled with jagged teeth and a massive body covered with blood red eyes.
Circe the shadow queen, a power Shadow user and would become the demon general of gluttony. A powerful boss and a challenging foe.
'But not yet,' Dyre said to himself, looking at the young demon wearing all black. "So when do we start?" Circe said with a smile on her face looking down on Dyre, not even acknowledging him.
The Unnamed sat on his throne with the other Kings including Lilith. Overlooking the arena, he snapped his fingers creating a booming sound signaling the battle had begun.
Circe touched her staff to the floor, and as if on command hundred of imps made of shadow stormed out of Circe's shadow.
Dyre readed himself "{Lighten}" he said as the imps charged at him. He dodged and when a few were in front of him.
"{Weightless Flurry}!" he said as he stabbed the shadows in front of him. Piercing straight through them all. And a pane appeared before him he was not expecting.

[Level up!]
'Right the shadow warriors give experience points.' Dyre thought as he smiled. "Is this all shadow queen?" Dyre said in a gallant voice, goading her on.
Circe frowned, and slammed her staff on the ground on the floor much stronger than ast time. Now hundreds of imps and now even knights made of shadow poured out of her shadow.
Dyre smiled in his helmet, and readied his spear. "{Weighten}" Dyre said as he faced the shadow warriors.
"{Heavy Slam}, {Heavy Slam}, {Lighten}, {Weightless Flurry}" Dyre swung his spear and used his skills to rip apart the army of shadow.
Circe grew annoyed of Dyre "Will you silence yourself, what kind of warrior announces what skills he will use?" Dyre destroyed another shadow imp and looked to Circe.
Raising an eyebrow to what Circe said 'it's fun to say what I want from me' he thought to himself "To give others a chance." Dyre said in the same galant voice.
Circe trembled in rage and had decided that she had to kill Dyre. As Dyre was destroying her shadow army, she dropped her staff and slammed her hands together and then slammed them on the ground.
As soon as Circe did that every shadow knight and imp lost their form and returned to Circe's shadow.
Then Circes shadow itself Came to life and rose from the the floor, and ballooned in size and deformed into a more feral state.
As Beelzebub watched this happen, Beelzebub turned to Lilith and smiled, and Lilith decided to ignore him for now.
But Dyre just kept smiling as he turned his eyes to the pane. What he saw made him feel pure joy.
Dyre Beacon
Level-50
[Weight Shifting level 2]
[Light and Heavy Spearmanship level 2]
'Perfect!' Dyre thought to himself filled with excitement. Not only had he finally leveled up but his skills had grown in power too, and he now could use more skills of Light and Heavy Spearmanship!
Circe's shadow roared, showing that it was different from the other shadow monsters that were summoned before. It held its own will, and with it a want to survive. Even Circe couldn't control this Shadow, and Dyre now had to face it.
But he was not frightened. He was excited, Circe's shadow was the perfect challenge for how strong he is now. And he knew the perfect move for this beast.
The Monster ran toward him, and Dyre was ready. He weightened the spear head but reduced the weight of the shaft and stabbed forward aimed at the beast.
"{Drake Piercer}" he screamed as he stabbed the shadow.
The arena was now silent, they were silenced with shock. Dyre stood in front of the shadow, watching it trying to keep itself together with a giant hole in its chest.
Circe herself had already passed out, when Dyre had used {Drake Piercer}. And now the shadow was only standing by its own will.
"Well that was sad." Dyre said disappointedly. hearing what Dyre said the shadow roared, but sunk back into the ground, and returned to Circe.
Dyre watched as the shadow returned and looked to the Unnamed "Who won?" he said abrasively.
The Unnamed looked to Dyre and sighed and announced.
"The winner of the first round is Dyre Beacon!"
The crowd became confused at this, murmurs could be heard about the child's name. The thing they knew of the young warrior was that he was from the Ring of Pride.
But why would this child hold the name of humanity's strongest, what relationship did this boy even have with Lilith, and how was he so strong?
Little did they know that their questions would only increase.
